I was extremely impressed with this company from the start. They sent someone round to try to give me a quotation that was as accurate as possible and sent the boxes within a day of us asking for them. The customer services were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, even though we were unsure about the exact nature of our move and whether we would require storage. When the day came Joe and Amil were excellent. Moving over 200 miles is a stressful process, but they made the whole thing totally bearable. Even when they had to wait over four hours for the completion, they remained positive. I would totally recommend this company when moving long distances. Thanks for everything. They actually moved me to Rhyl in Wales, but they wouldn't let me choose this as an option !!

I used Removers and Storers for my house removal and I have to say the service I recieved was second to none. From the very beginning having a survery organised to the time they finished, I could not fault them. The office staff were so friendly and helpful, and the removal guys themselves bent over backwards and made our removal day go as smoothly and as least stressful as could be! Honeslty a 5* company, and the fact they offer the service of a full pack, unpack and storage facilities if you need it is amazing! Thank you so much!!

I don't normally write reviews but I was very disappointed with Removers and Storers Ltd services. The communication prior to a move was great, but it all started to be very doubting the day before the move when I received a call asking questions which I answered before. On the day of my move, instead of 4 guys only 2 arrived and due to a wrong van they decided to stop the work (once the van was fully loaded) so we had to wait half a day for an additional support. What is more, I just re-furbed a property I was moving into (everything brand new - from carpets to a bathroom and painted walls) and by the time they finished I found a brand new property ruined (dirty carpets, scratched walls, damaged furniture they helped me to move - I'm not going into details as there has been lots of damage done to different goods as well) and when I saw what they have done and how stressful the move they made for me, I felt like crying as this is something I didn't expect and didn't pay for. All what I have been told by their 'professional' staff was these things happen. I was speechless with their response as clearly this is not what they claim on the website and when the surveyor came to see the property. Also since I invested so much into the new place I couldn't believe the damage done to it just by a what I would have thought a simple move which they claim to make stress free for their customers. I must say I moved before but it has never been as stressful as it was with this company as on the day I had to be on the call to their logistic manager trying to sort out and complete the move on the day and then cleaning up the place after the move. Wil never use them again and will make sure my friends and family will avoid them as and when possible. I would rather use other companies then go through what I had to deal with during the move with Removers and Stores Ltd.

It started well with a good quote. The company rang a day or so before to ensure all was well for the day. They arrived on time and the removal team packed, loaded the vehicle, moved us and unloaded at the other end without a hitch. They were brilliant, cheerful and so hardworking. Always checking with us that we were happy with how they were doing. All the boxes were marked with contents and the designated rooms . Made what could be a stressful day very manageable. Great team and have no hesitation in recommending them.

We had a terrible experience with this company during our move from Welwyn Garden City to Thundridge. The removers were rude and unhelpful, only one actually spoke any English. They sent a lorry that was too small, even though they had carried out a survey, so we ended up having to take 5 car loads ourselves. They left the bedroom furniture in the garden as they said it wouldn't fit upstairs yet two rather small females managed it the following day. An old mattress got dumped in my house, they ripped a leather chair, damaged a bed and scratched a parquet flooring, walls were damaged, boxes were left in completely wrong rooms, clothes were taken off of hanging rails and thrown on the floor, a confidential file was left in the house with their staff wages details in.

I accept that things sometimes don't go to plan but their MD didn't even have the professional courtesy to respond to any of my numerous communications following this, let alone put it right.

On a positive note their office staff are fantastic, very helpful, polite and professional.

We were delighted with out removal men. They were professional, courteous and friendly throughout, worked incredibly quickly and advised us if there were any problems, e.g. when taking down our wardrobe, they said there was some damage and they may not be able to reconstruct it at the other end, which turned out to be the case. My only criticisms are that we'd been quoted for a two day move but the men tried to cram it into one. Having said that, they stopped at 9:00 pm when we told them we were too tired for them to do more. In addition I wish the assessor had been more realistic about the difficulties of taking down and reconstructing flat pack furniture. But all in all this was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend this company.

A very disappointing service, we found the company to be poor and badly organised, it started out ok with arrangements for the surveyor to visit and discuss the logistics of the move, we were living in the Surrey hills surrounded by rees and where the roads are narrow lanes we discussed with the surveyor the possible need to use smaller Luton vans rather than a massive removal van and what happens, 4 men turn up late at our front door with tnoremoval van which was stuckunder a tree up the lane and supposedly could not get down, although we had a number of neighbour s who had to drive around the van and could not understand why it was stuck ? Anyway the guys got on to head office and about2 hours later Chris in a Luton van arrived, well thank goodness for Chris he got all the other blokes moving and took time to explain to us what they were going to do as by this time we were beginning to lose patience and the whole episode was becoming very stressful especially so when my wife politely suggested they could move the van and was met by a torrent of abuse and screaming and shouting and threats of you will be lucky to move at all, anyway Chris calmed everybody down and they set to in loading the Luton, which they then drove to the 18tonnervan and off loaded from one to the other , in essence double handling all the furniture, we also had some furniture in storage elsewhere some of which needed to be collected and taken to our new house, I had discussed this with the surveyor and was advised that removers and storers would arrange this with the storage company, which they didn't try to do until the morning of the move suggesting that somehow it was my responsibility to have arranged all this consequently they did not collect from the storage company and we were without certain items for a few days, removers and storers did however offer to vcollect these items at another date and additional cost despite my belief that this was a service that I had already paid for and a problem not of my making, theirlack of an efficient internal communcommunications system being the problem, they did eventually offer to complete the work at a discounted price but to dates that were not acceptable, eventually I got the work done by another company at less than removers and storers discounted rate and to dates that were acceptable, in truth removers and storers were our second choice company, unfortunately our first choice were unable to complete the move on the dates required, I wish I had read some of the previous reviews I might have changed my mind, in the end though they completed the job and got us moved in on the day we required but it was far more stressful than it needed to be I have moved house8 times over the years and this was the worst experience of removal companies I have had.fortunately it was not raining.nothing was stolen or damaged although the sky tv cables have not yet turned up,.
