Words cannot explain the disappointment, lack of care or aftercare of their shocking treatment. Wish I would have seen all of these reviews first, there are too many very concerning reviews. The odd fantastic review doesn't exactly do it justice or seem plausible! Overpriced yet the lazy removal men are clearly underpaid for the terrible service that they provide although apparently, they tell you how successful they are, find someone else to move you like I wished I had.

I used this company to move 200 miles and they did the packing for me. The whole move was well managed and professional. I would have no hesitation in using them again.

The company packed the goods on day one, loaded the van on day two and travelled to the new address. Delivery was on day three. Two members of staff were provided each day. They worked very hard.

Praise also goes to the administration staff who answered all my queries and ensured I knew what was happening each step of the way. They even phoned the day before the move to confirm details.

Service cost: £2500

The survey was done very professionally, they even checked inside the cupboards to estimate how many boxes are needed.
When trying to get the boxes delivered, however, they promised to get them to me by 12.30 but that didn't happen. Even after ringing them several times, them promising to contact the driver several times, them forgetting to call me back with an update, I did not get an estimate of the delivery time. I ended up buying boxes from Argos as we couldn't sit around doing nothing all day.
On the moving day the team was friendly and professional, but they made a few too many decisions without asking back. They just chucked stuff in boxes that they found and so ended up taking off with some parts of the hoover that were needed for final clean. Also they re-assembled the furniture without checking the details (wardrobe shelves and rails).
For a cold and rainy day I would have expected better floor protection. Especially the carpets were not protected at all.

In July 2016 my furniture was moved to my new home after being in storage with the above company. I had paid for a full packing removal and delivery service. I am 75yrs old and hence I paid for a full service including unpacking. On the delivery day, my furniture was left in the middle of a room the dining table wasn't put back together as they had to rush off. Next day the unpacking service arrived they left the boxes still made up everywhere I could hardly move in the bungalow. Some of my belongings were missing other items broken. I phoned and complained I was promised a return by the unpackers to remove cases and reimbursement for some of the broken items. Needless to say, nothing happened. I have chased this up on lots of occasions but still nothing. I don't feel I should just leave it this was my precious home.

This firm moved me twice. The first time was to take a small part of my goods to the new temporary home, which went well and the remainder in storage and then to be delivered to our new home some months later. Initial survey was great, packers were enthusiastic but lacked experience (I caught one guy trying to keep the drawers in an antique table closed using parcel packing tape - this we later found out meant that a lot of our goods were damaged due to poor handling exacerbated by poor packing. Storage costs were reasonable. On the 2nd move the assessor turned up and was shown what needed to be packed and moved. Sadly he failed to tell the office so when the van turned up (4 hours later than agreed) the driver and mate thought it was to collect goods that we had packed. NO packing materials were brought. The R&S office seemed to blame us for this. However the two lads who were great) who turned up, and our neighbours weighed in and we managed to pack the thankfully limited amount of possessions we had at our temp home. ON delivery at our new home we noticed that there were many breakages (down to poor packing) but worst of all was the damage to prized antique furniture - it has been placed in storage with no protection, resulting in scratches dents and damage and in some cases stuff that went into storage was never seen again. Needless to say I complained and was initially fobbed off - threats of court action were the only thing to persuade this unprofessional company to get their insurers involved. Even after the insurers settled, it took threat of court action to get R&S to pay out their contribution to the settlement. Be very careful about using this company - they talk a good game but take little care of your goods.

The service provided by Removers and Storers made moving an absolute doddle - Nabeel and Tony did an absolutely superb job of moving our furniture, and wouldn't hesitate to use Removers and Storers again in the future.

We had a few quotes from removal companies and, whilst Removers and Storers weren't the cheapest, they seemed to have an approach to make life as easy as possible. The administrative side on the lead-up to the move was easy, and communication about what to expect was brilliant.

We paid extra for the packing service, and wow! What a service! Tony breezed through our packing in a day, for what would have certainly taken us weeks! It was expertly packed, and consequently nothing whatsoever was damaged during the move.

On the big day Nabeel and Tony worked tirelessly, and emptied our old house and deposited our stuff in the new one with surprising speed, ensuring everything was in the right place! Made unpacking a breeze. A great service, highly recommended! Thank you very much for your help.

The surveyor came round and gave us a fair quote having logged all items. We decided to go with Removers and Storers - Big Mistake! Not only did they underestimate the amount of our items but ran out of space and drove off leaving a load of our items whilst the manager tried to blame us! We are a family with 3 young children and were told we had to pay extra to get the rest removed. We had no choice! So after a very long day not only did we pay more but by the time we got the keys to our new home it was 8pm. The removal guys didn't give a crap at this point and literally chucked our possessions in the garden. Xbox left outside in the rain and boxes marked for each room just chucked anywhere. We now live in a war zone one day after moving. I have stopped trying to sort my family's house out to write this review as I am so disgusted and angry we paid £1000 for this!! The more I unravel the chaos the more angry I am getting. We have always moved ourselves and this was our one and only experience of a removal firm. Never ever again! Do it yourselves guys it's not worth this hassle and to be out of pocket through their fault - is not acceptable. Worst experience ever! I will be adding this review on every site as I am so angry! I have a video of the carnage left after the removals of anyone wants proof.

This company was amazing. They arrived on time and did everything they could to move from a barn with a spiral staircase to an apartment. Removal & Storers have really helpful and professional staff who made my move easy. They took a lot of care when packing up the contents of my home and then unpacking at the other end. On arrival at my new home, staff did everything to make me feel confident. Thank you very much. I would definitely recommend Removal & Storers to anyone.

I moved in a day (it was this that meant they got the job) with packing being done, furniture dismantled then reassembled.
All four gentlemen introduced themselves and then viewed the job ahead before starting work.
They arrived at 9.45am, packed a majority of the house's contents, and left me in my new home with all furniture standing perfectly at 6pm.
There were many glass/fragile items beautifully wrapped and nothing broken.
It was a hot day and items to be put on three floors.
Great care was needed going up the flights of stairs for some items.
There were no marks or damage to the walls
I cannot think of a single negative thing to write and am delighted my move went so well.
I would recommend Removers and Storers to anyone needing to move and do get them to pack - it is worth so much not to be living with boxes.

Right from the time we got quotations from various removal companies, this was the only company that followed up to check the quote met our requirements, leaving a warm feeling that we were dealing with professionals and could trust them with our move.
They called us a couple of days prior to the removal to confirm and finalise all details such as time, etc.
On the day of the move, a very cheery and helpful 3-man team arrived on time and set to work loading the van, and were already unloading at the new property by the time we arrived. Great experience and took away all the stress of moving.
Thank you to the all the team at Removers and Storers, both the admin and the movers; we will definitely use you again and recommend you to our friends and relatives.

I chose Removers and Storers when I went on a removals price comparison website; they were the first to call me and offered me a convenient time to be obtain a personalised quote. The guy that visited was exceptionally professional. I received the quote the following day and was really pleased with it; so I chose them.
There was then a period of a couple of weeks before my actual move.
I was disappointed when with less than a week to go I was contacted to advise the person I'd been working with had left and they had found themselves oversubscribed; as a result they didn't have enough removals vans and I was charged an extra £150 for them to hire another vehicle. I had no choice but to pay the charge given there were only days to go; what annoyed me was that on the day of the removals, they arrived with a fully branded removers & Storers van - it clearly wasn't a hire van so was I paying for someone else to have the pleasure of a van?
We opted for the packing and removals option. The packers came the day before and packed up our house without any hassle, in fact they were excellent. I would reccommend anyone to use this service!
Then, on the day of removals the three guys that did our move were fantastic. They worked so hard and were professional throughout.
Without doubt, I'd have graded these guys an Excellent had they not cheekily charged me £150 within days of my move. Having read other reviews, I'm clearly not the only person that this has happened to. I don't mind the company accepting they've made a mistake and required the hiring of additional vehicles, but I clearly didn't have a hire vehicle!!

This was the first company to follow up on an online comparison quote and I had a surveyor round within days to size up the scale of the job. Price was initially a bit pricey but I was able to negotiate an improvement after discussion. That said, I then needed to add some dismantling and reassembling at the last minute, which was agreed without any problem for £25.
On the day, the 2 men were better than I could have hoped for. Pleasant & professional, they worked really hard and packed more into their van than I expected was possible. Unpacking at new home they took care to protect carpets on a wet day and happily moved heavy furniture around when I changed my mind about positioning.
As we all know moving is stressful but these lads did their best to make sure it went as well as possible so a big thank you to them.

We used removers and storers for a local move, family of four and a lot of boxes. They also disconnected dishwasher and washing machine and plumbed in the other end, and took apart and reassembled trampoline. Oh plus three beds and two ikea units.

Was advised as a courtesy the day before they might be a little late but in the end they were on time and we packed up without a problem. Very friendly and all introduced themselves to us.

The other end they were quick and efficient at unloading and didn't complain about lots of boxes being taken to furthest rooms in house. They went the extra mile and in the new house moved the existing washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher, which we didn't want, into the garage before plumbing ours all in.

Saw I was about to turn on the TV in the new house and advised me to wait a bit to let any humidity and condensation settle due to the van having been quite hot. They didn't need to have done that and I appreciated it.

Very careful with our stuff and made sure they didn't bang walls etc.

Overall was really pleased and I gave them a tip, which they weren't expecting and were thankful for.

On 1st March we moved from Kent to West Midlands. We used Removers and Storers and were very happy with the service. Despite horrendous weather conditions and an eight hour journey for them they kept us up to date where they were. The guys were polite and friendly and on arrival went round the house to double check what needed to be loaded. On arrival in Dudley in even worse conditions they battled through and made sure we were happy. They then had the long journey back. Thanks guys. Appreciate all you did.
