Gentleman and a Van

I used Gentleman and a Van to move flats in London recently and was really impressed. I was moving from Hackney to the Dulwich area and had a lot of stuff to organise. The guys were friendly and helped me stack my stuff correctly and were great at loading/unloading. I usually just have friends help move my stuff bit my bit, but this time I thought I would do it like an adult and hire a company! It was so much less stressful and much more organised. It was lovely to move into my new flat and have all my stuff neatly stacked up waiting to be unpacked. I would recommend this company as they made the move pretty simple and were a decent price too. Gentleman And A Van are AMAZING!  Jared and Fred could not have been any more efficient, pleasant and utterly brilliant.  They worked so hard and efficiently and everything was in Cobham in no time at all!  Nothing was too much trouble. Having recommended Gentleman And A Van to so many over the years, one can never be 100% certain until having the option to try it out yourself!  I have told my company how brilliant you and your EXCELLENT team have been and we will do our very best to make sure we recommend as many to you as poss! I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for moving my wife and me last week. You were utterly amazing, I'm only sorry we have so much stuff! All the guys who helped were so pleasant and hyper-efficient and everything pitched up in the right place for us to unpack (super-speed too!).

We love our new house but could never have done the move without your invaluable help. SO nice to be reunited with my belongings in storage too - they all fit in and those that don't are happily chilling out in the garage!

A note of the highest praise for the Gentleman & a Van team! They were the upmost professionals from the start to the finish of our complicated move, storage, and disposal needs. James and team were always quick to respond to my emails and showed up promptly on both days of our move. They even came back for the boxes after we unpacked - such service!

The excellent team from Gentleman and a Van made our move this weekend as good a move as I can imagine a move being.  We had two men packing the house up on Friday, and then 5 men on Saturday with two vans, one brand new, both in excellent condition.  They had all the right equipment, packed our possessions beautifully in tissue and bubble wrap, LOTS of boxes including full wardrobe boxes, and took great care.  They could not have done enough, were unfailingly polite and helpful, and a pleasure to have around. We will definitely use the company again, and I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Gentleman & a Van are probably one of the friendliest, professional business's we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. We have high standards and expensive furniture. From the point of quotation to the day of moving they completely met our expectations. On the day they called for an extra van so our sofa didn't get jammed in too tight causing the padding to misshape! The icing on the cake was the fact our bed would not fit into our new bedroom due to a large bannister which had to be removed. So they returned the following day free of charge to finalise matters with the bed.

Could removal from one property to another ever be considered to be a pleasure, is debatable, but from the first contact via phone to inquire and book our removal to saying good bye to the team afterwards I can only say that Gentleman and a Van did their utmost to certainly make it as stress free as possible. We had a team of three extremely polite,friendly and super efficient men and 2 large vans which I had thought might not be enough, but their super efficiency and experience meant that not only did everything get in, but they managed pack it all in just 3 hours. Everything was wrapped beautifully to make sure no damage occurred and when we got to the new property, nothing was too much trouble. If we were unsure where we wanted certain items to go, the were happy to indulge our indecision. By the end of our removal day, we had a home again purely because we had chosen the very best people to move us. No praise is really high enough, and we would have no hesitation in recommending this company to all our friends and relations should they require removal services in the future.

It has been my 4th move in 4 years, and by far the smoothest. The crew from Gentleman and a Van were extremely professional, took great care of valuable items (china, pictures) and worked extremely quickly. We have a lot of stuff (200+ boxes, incl. some very heavy furniture), and last time we moved it took us 3.5 days to pack with another company. This time, the team from Gentleman and a Van packed us in one day and moved us on the second day. Excellent job - and very nice guys.

Two words - brilliant removals! We moved from a 2 bed flat in Chiswick to a 4 bed, 3 storey house near Twickenham and the team were absolutely superb. Highly professional, friendly, efficient and really thoughtful, to the point that they laid plastic wrapping on all 3 storeys of carpet so as not to dirty it! We went for the full packaging option and I genuinely cannot fault the service.

I hope we'll not need to move again, but if we do, I wouldn't hesitate to use this brilliant company again.

I used Gentleman & A Van to move my house from London to Farnham last week. This is the fifth move I have made in as many years and the service was quite simply magnificent!
This company is head and shoulders above its competition.
I met one of the owners of the business, who was very impressive and he gave me an extremely competitive quote.
The team then arrived the day before my move to pack. Everything was wrapped beautifully and the men were all polite and good humoured. On the move day, everything was loaded by 11am and we are down in Farnham by 12.30pm, just in time for our completion. The team then proceeded to unload everything in double quick time, unwrapping and reassembling all our furniture. Nothing got broken and they even offered to hoover the sitting room before they left.
It was a very hot day but noone complained and the move was carried out in high spirits by a super group of guys, expertly led by Dan.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone, the service was faultless from start to finish and great value to. Well done Gentleman & A Van!
