I do not recommmend.

Unfortunately Simply Removals over promised & under delivered. They arrived two hours late & two men short of what we were promised, and of course, what we had paid for. The team worked hard but they are not skilled removals staff - we ended up with a broken fridge freezer & some items had to be left behind because they could not get them out (we had to use another service on the following day to complete the move - needless to say - they had no problem getting the items out).
Moving is stressful & we had worked hard to mitigate much of the stress. Using Simply Removals was a bad decision.
Please avoid using this service - they will disappoint.

Very disappointed, caused upset in so many ways.

The salesman on the telephone was very helpful and professional. The movers were hopeless. They didn't pack a thing, even though we had asked for this service. They hadn't a clue how to load and unload possessions with care. Broken lamp, mirror, dirty scuffed mattress, chipped bedroom furniture. Everything was just piled in. When we arrived at our new house they phoned to say they couldn't make the drop until 9 PM. In a residential area! We declined and they said they would come in the morning. Next day they didn't have a driver available but finally got to us mid afternoon.
Absolutely do not use this company.

Do Not Touch With a Barge Pole.

DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE

I had to take this company to court following damage that they caused to my property and belongings.

They never attended court on two separate hearings.

The judge heard the case and found in my favour.

Even though the judge made an order against the company to pay for the damages caused, the company refused to make payment.

It wasn't until I issued winding up proceedings that they finally paid; over a year later.

Consumers should be fully aware of this company.

Do Not Use Them.

The company had a very aggressive sales pitch, calling everyday to get my decision and as they seemed flexible on my requests and good value for money, I picked them. Furthermore they included a 3rd man so that the removal went quicker on a preferential price of.

Absolute Con men.

This Company are an absolute joke,The turned up with a vehicle too small, threatened to keep my contents if I didn,t pay immediately. They used a hire van and hire Labour who didn,t give a toss.
The owner is rude and arrogant.

Paid upfront - total lack of response to my complaint.

Ours was a small job. The 2 men who turned up refused point blank to pack anything, even though it had been prearranged, One (why just 1?) box packed was charged for on the prepaid invoice. I emailed the company several times but received no response at all. I left a 2* review on their site but it is not shown - just glowing 5* reviews.

Hired for Elderly Parents.

I hired Simply Removals for my elderly parents who could move lots of 'little' items (clothings, bathroom supplies, etc.) and just wanted someone to move heavy items such as the sofa, beds, dressers, etc. as there were stairs in the new house. It was just a simple move across town. I opted for the hourly rate, as I didn't think it would take more than an hour or two to load everything, drive across town and unload. Two men showed about 5-10min late (no big deal TBH) as it was morning traffic. Wrapped everything according to my dad's instructions, loaded it, came over to the new place, put it where instructed - not a wall marked, scratched, etc. Both guys were pleasant, chatted with my dad. In and out in about 55 minutes! Perfect! There was a 2hr minimum (£60/hr + VAT) which was fine, that was clearly explained going into it - as I'd have been surprised if it took that long unless they walked each bit of furniture over by hand. Other companies wanted to charge £600-800 for the same work! Granted, this was just a move of large pieces of furniture, not all the odds and ends of clothing, millions of kitchen items, etc. but we'd certainly hire them again if we go the same crew.

Good service, sensible price.

Removals team helpful and efficient. Team leader, Christian, kept me informed when they were a bit late and did his best to make the job smooth and tidy. I'd underestimated the number of books to be moved and Liam was constructive and sensible about adjusting the quote for this.

Avoid this company.

From being 3 hrs late for there pack and store they sent 3 lorries all at varying times right up to 3 pm and the new owners of our home was moving in as we were still trying to move out. they threw our stuff in not strapped down or protection used they didn't even know where it was going all the operatives were foreign and didn't speak or understand English. when they delivered our stuff they opened the lorry and it wasn't our stuff! We had to wait another 24 hrs before it arrived again all just thrown in very little packing material used 26 items damaged and smashed 7 items stolen/missing. customer service representative not interested just told us to claim against them. still waiting response from them please don't use them if you want a stress free move and you want your property back undamaged.

Just so people are aware, Simply Removals are, at the moment at least, members to The National Guild of Removers and Storers who operate an Ombusdman Scheme to deal with complaints if you don't have any joy after complaining to the Company first. Contact the Guild for details and give it a try and would love to hear if it has any success for you.

Simply removals were not only on time, on budget and extremely helpful but made my house move run so smoothly - they really know what they are doing!

The chap that helped me was named Lewis and was an absolute star, although all the staff were brilliant! Would definitely recommend them!

Simply Removals Review - Excellent London Removals!

I found Simply Removals to be prompt, efficient and friendly. Their quote was reasonable and all aspects of the move were done in a professional manner. Their packaging service was much better than doing it ourselves, and overall I found the move to be almost completely stress-free due to their great service.

Do Not Use.

We had a laptop stolen Items damaged and they had excuses for everything. They refused to pay out on insurance claims so now we are an extra 1000 GBP out of pocket with losses and damages.

The whole service received from Simply Removals was EXCELLENT and even included a last minute change of moving date. Count yourselves VERY lucky if your removal guys are Chris and Justin. 100% grafters and nothing but a cheery outlook and smiles. Will deff use them the next time we move!!

Fantastic Removals Service!

I was quite apprehensive about using a removals service and was actually contemplating hiring a van and doing it all myself. However, a good friend of mine recommended Simply Removals and assured they were trustworthy so I gave them a try and I'm glad to say that I wasn't disappointed. They did a great job - and for a reasonable price too!

Dishonest Company!!

DISHONEST!! Simply removals were the cheapest quote I received for my move. I contracted them recently to move my items to two locations. we agreed at the time of the booking that I would pay by Credit card, I confirmed this with the company on several occasions before the move and they agreed to put the payment through 48hrs before so it can reach their acct on the day of the move. on the day the removal men ignored the boxes marked fragile and stacked everything on top of each other. they ignored the labels on the boxes stating where each box was to go and stacked most of them in one room. Then as they were about to leave for the second location, they demanded I pay them by cash for the job, I told them they were mistaken that they payment was to be made by card and to speak with their office, they did this and still insisted I pay by cash. after much heated argument with several people at their head office, I was told that they had neglected to put the payment through on my card as agreed and I had no choice but to pay them by cash or they would not finish the job. the move was stressful enough without being held to ransom by them, I had no option but to run around and get the money together to pay them. as you can imagine I was very upset at this stage and so stressed out that I didn't take the time to check that I had received all my boxes and belongings intact, now after unpacking I can see that some of my kitchen items are missing. this whole business with simplyremovals has been very upseting, I trusted them to carry out a professional job and I was completely let down. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!. cheaper doesn't mean better!

Simply removals worst company ever.

This is honestly the worst experience I have ever recieved, they turned up on the day to pack late, never left to late in the evening, I was told to call their office at 7am in the morning to let the guys in the office know that they would need to come earlier than 9am, got a hold of the guy in the office at 7:30, he was abrupt saying that I should have called the previous evening and that is what the guy who was packing meant, their office closed at 7pm, we were told to call the office at 8pm, not sure how that works.  then on the day of the move, bearing in mind that we had communicated to them that we had to be out of the house by 12pm, I had to call back again as apparently their removals van had broken down on the north circular at 8:20am, how they would have got to our address by 9am is beyond me as I travel that route regular, and either they know a quick route or I am going the long way round.  

complete mess, they have no concept of the importance of being reliable, or  punctual, and put us in a massive dilemma.  if they didn't have you over a barrel, you would tell them not to bother!!

if you are considering uusing this company, pay the extra and go for the more reputable complany, these guys are a shambles, and just constantly lie, and they aren't even good at that.
