Long-distance move from Hertfordshire to Hertfordshire

Horrific!!

Horrific experience and customer service, used them for a 3rd time however suddenly have been awful!! Second hand boxes (despite paying for boxes), rude team, broke my TV and then claimed they shouldn’t have moved it, won’t pay or even respond to my email, drove off with my items without permission...do I even need to go on? Avoid at all costs if you value your time, your stuff and your dignity!

Simply Removals is a cowboy outfit.

They may give you the cheapest quote but you will pay. The removal men hardly spoke a word of English (Eastern Europeans) and were rude, surly and rough with our belongings. Our piano seemed to be a surprise to them even though, in our quote, it was quite clearly itemised and we were supposed to get special equipment for it. Things were scratched and lost. I tried to contact the company but no emails or calls were responded to. Absolutely the worst removal service I've ever experienced. It seems I'm not alone in saying this. I wish I'd seen these reviews before. Please see photo - this van with its wing mirrors broken and strapped with tape - pretty much sums up Simply Removals.

Exceptional Removal Experience.

I would not hesitate in recommending Simply Removals, the quality of service and very reasonable costs make them a great company to deal with.  My removal was from Bedford near Cambridge, to Montrose near Aberdeen, a move of 477miles. Everything from the pick up to delivery was dealt with efficiently and courteously with true professionalism. This is the second time I have used Simply and would definitely use them again.

Once money taken no customer service.

As everyone can relate moving is very stressful. I contacted simply removals after searching for local movers online.
Unfortunately at that time I didn't find many bad reviews and as I was desperate, had a chat with the customer service guy and went with them.
I spoke to them on phone and invited for assessing the job which the person on phone declined. He thought 40 boxes would be enough to move a family with 3 bedrooms. Was promised that the van will be at my service for half day so multiple trips would be possible as the distance we were moving was less than 5 miles.
On the day.. Medium sized van with 40 boxes which I would consider to be medium when compared to the ones on Amazon.
Luckily I had bought 20 large boxes from Amazon and had my clothes and few other things packed.

After an hour into the job the driver/packer started calling the office and complaining that things are too much. I didn't get involved yet then in the next 30mins he started mumbling about leaving because he had another job waiting.
It's now that I was on phone with the person I spoke to initially. Now his tone and way of speaking was not in anyway courteous. This is when I felt like I have booked job with a cowboy company. The person went on to call me a liar which really winded me and made me very upset.
What can you talk to a person who declines everything you've agreed for a talks pretty blunt after taking your money in one go 3 days before the job.

I agreed to pay the packer more so that we can move the same day but that didn't go well as well.

I ended up on phone at the last minute to different moving companies to move the remaining items finally at the end of day found Transport Masters who were ready to move anything that is packed and working on hourly rate.

At the end of the day I paid £1000 and my moving felt very upsetting.

It's been 2 months now since we moved and even thinking about it is bringing back bad feeling and memory.

It's only after that experience that I went online and found floods of reviews online about the kind of service received from the simply removals company and was wondering why this didn't catch my eye before.
Anyway I raised a compliant with the company not for any kind of remuneration but to make sure that process is in place and another customer is not treated the way I was treated and made feel so helpless on the day of move. After few weeks I received a reply from the company stating that the customer facing employees have been informed to be more courteous to customers but the remaining mail felt as if they were covering themselves (I knew this is what such companies would do) and took no responsibility for what had happened.

I HAVE BEEN CONNED BY A COWBOY REMOVAL COMPANY CALLED Simply removals.

The main reason for me leaving this review is that no one else falls for this company like I did.
Please people learn from my mistake.

Don't Use This Company!! You Have Been Warned!! a Bunch of Cowboys!!

Hello,
Please, if you're thinking of using this company..DON'T!
We had Simply Removals booked to move my husband and I from a 3 bed house to a mobile home. We were moving less than a mile away! We had very little in the way of bulky furniture as it was not needed due to the fact of moving to a much smaller property.
It didn't get off to a good start at all as the 2 man team were nearly 2 hours late, we received no apology and no explantion despite making several calls to the company requesting the teams whereabouts. We were just given lame excuses and they really couldn't have cared less! When they finally arrived, they tried to tell us that they couldn't speak or understand English!! Its absolutely disgusting that you pay for a service when you cannot communicate with the representatives! Its totally out of order and Simply Removals shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. Moving house is stressful enough without the added pressure of not being able to communicate with the team.
As a result of this problem, my husband who has a lot of specialised music and recording equipment, tried to explain to the team that he would be taking the equipment himself, then the next thing we knew it was on the back of their van!! My husbnad was furious that we couldn't make them understand what we wanted. It was a ridiculous situation. Why should you be expected to use sign language to communicate with these people that we were paying for!
They were not careful and managed to break an upright fan, an electric toaster and a bedside cabinet drawer.
We finally got to our new home and once again we gave up trying to get across to the 2 guys where we wanted items put, we ended up having to do more work than we shoudl have had to do.
Then, when the team finished, they reversed their van to get out and unfortunately drove over a neighbours path, this resulted in breaking 3 x paving slabs and knocking out some brickes from the surrounding wall of the mobile home! A neighbour who was washing his car just a few yards away stopped the team to tell them what they'd done but once again because they didn't speak or understand English, he was unable to get across to them regarding the damage they'd caused.
We followed the complaints procedure but needless to say, Simply Removals denied liability. The lady who's path and wall they damaged is 85 years old and lives alone. She's very frail and walks with a stick. She uses this path to walk on to get to her shed where her freezer is housed. I informed Simply Removals of this fact but just as predicited, it made no difference at all. We are now seeking legal advice for compensataion as my husband and I have had to make good the repairs.
Well, that's my experience of SIMPLY REMOVALS. I urge you to steer claer of this company.
Thank you
Christine & Malcolm

Do not touch these rogue traders!!

These lot a nasty bunch of deceitful people who
claim they are professional and accredited with The Guild and Ombudsman. Well I
am taking my case to the Ombudsman and see what they have to say.

They moved us to our house, were late , slow
and inefficient and broke 3 items of my furniture. When I have pursued their
complaints department they have not replied and lied saying they did not
receive my emails. So their so called 10 working days has not been met. The
Ombudsman will have something to say about that!

They then deny liability. My dressing table
weighs over 150kg.

Long-distance move from London, Greater London to London, Greater London

Don't even know where to start, awful..

Two removals men arrived promptly but that's where the good service ended for us. They were rude, hurried us, complained about volume of items to move under their breath, and damaged walls by carelessly banging into them with chairs and similar, leaving black marks on new paint. Don't wish to be rude but they could barely speak English which did not help when trying to communicate with them. Pressured us into dismantling two large cube bookshelves so they didn't have to carry them in one piece. We were not comfortable with this as we were worried about damage and losing bits, but agreed as they were aggressive about it. One of them kept saying 'I am trying to help you, you have to help me help you'. Very unprofessional. When we unpacked at our destination we were relieved to see that nothing seemed damaged, so tipped them £40 and they went on ther way. Ten minutes after they left we realised half of the bookshelves (the ones they pressured us into dismantling) were missing. Called them and couldn't get a response for two hours. Eventually got hold of them, and the drivers stated that they had stored the bookshelves in the front of the van under the seat 'for safekeeping'. We did not see them do this and they did not tell us they had done this. By this point they were on the other side of London so we had to arrange to meet them at a halfway point and pick up the shelves. When we receiveed the shelves they were stacked one on top of the other inside a dirty blanket. Because the shelves have a glossy finish they had scratched and rubbed against each other and were hideously damaged (as they had been driven to the other side of London and back, presumably sliding around under the seat of their van). We reported this to the customer service team and asked to claim on the insurance. The customer service team took a month to get back to us and eventually said that because we had ticked a VERY MISLEADING box on the contract we were not able to claim for anything over £50 per item. (We have absolutely no recollection of ticking this box - they might have done it themselves for all we know). The shelves are worth £500 each. No apology, no offer to at least return the tip we gave them as a gesture of good faith (which could at least have covered our petrol fare for when we had to go and collect the shelves). Outrageous customer service. Goodness knows what other deliberately misleading clauses they have in their contracts. This is how they get you! We feel very stupid. They are cheap for a reason, DO NOT USE.

Damaged furniture and only paying out 50% of claim.

Stay away from this company. A number of my furniture items arrived damaged after being in storage. The claim process is hideous. After getting quotes I submitted the claim form and they then offered to pay 50% of the claim as I had not submitted evidence of the replacement value where the repair was cheaper. I then resubmitted the claim form with the correct evidence and now they say they won't look at the new submission - ridiculous!! I am furious.

Long-distance move from London, Greater London to London, Greater London

Simply Stressful Removals.

My complaint starts on the day of packing, two men arrived around 2.00pm to start packing. In my view the boxes used were small and within an hour and some minutes 40 boxes had been stacked. My concern was that quite a bit of my furniture was left unpacked and I could not understand why time had been spent taking things out of boxes that I had previously packed? I did not question this because I believed that I had paid for a professional service? Whilst packing one of the men continuously commented on how much possessions I had. My thought was that this was not his business and he should just get on with the service I had paid him to provide. He also complained about not being paid adequately for the job?

The next morning I expected an arrival at 9.00am. I had previously explained at the time of booking that I needed to be out of the property by midday because I would be completing on that day and the buyers would want access to their home. I received a call from the gentleman who had been at my home packing the previous day to say he was stuck in traffic and would be delayed by about an hour, I expressed my concern about vacating the property by midday and I was assured that I would be packed and moving by 1.00pm at the latest. This made me anxious, but again, I trusted that I would be moved in time.

At around 11am on the move day, I received a phone call from the office to say that 60 boxes had been packed and that if I wanted the rest of my things packed it would cost me £8 per box or £72 per hour. I was also told that the truck would not be big enough and that I would be charged an additional £72 per hour for any extra trips made. How did they know that the truck would not be big enough? I had no white goods and my bed, chest of draws x 2, sofa and wardrobes were to be dismantled. I had no white goods (washing machine, fridge, dish washer, etc). I was furious, given that I had an hour to vacate the address and could have packed my things the previous day had I been told? The stress of this made me swear at the person who had called me, because I had been quite calm until Simply Removals started to spring all these extra costs on me. I had also told them at the time of booking that I would need double the boxes they recommended and trusted that this had been taken into consideration? As a result of the stress I failed to recognise that only 40 boxes had been packed, not 60. I was made to feel that the move would not go ahead and I would incur charges for waiting etc.

I called the packer / removal man on the day of the move, they still had not arrived at 11.10am and asked what was happening about the packing. I was told not to worry and that he was on his way with extra boxes and was 3 miles away. The packer arrived at 11.30am. I was forced to lift and pack boxes because time was against me. The packer was complaining and I packed most of the boxes that were packed that day!

At around 2pm on the day of the move the packing was still not complete and only my bed had been dismantled. The new owners of the flat turned up at the property, I was horrified! I assured them that I would vacate the property as soon as possible.

Furniture that should have been dismantled was loaded into the van which took up space. I was told that my items were heavy (bearing in mind there were no white goods) and that they would not be able to fit my wardrobe, TV's and a 4 more boxes. I cried, Simply Removals were making moving very stressful for me!

The removal man left at approximately 3.30pm, hours after the scheduled time. I arrived at around 4.20pm. I expected the van to arrive shortly afterwards. I made and received several call over the next 5 hours. According to the removal man, the van had broken down due to the weight of my boxes? The van arrived at approximately 10.30pm. I was too exhausted to complain. There were four men and it took them about an hour to unload. At around 11.30pm we returned to the property to pick up my wardrobe, TV and approximately 4 boxes. The van left before the packing was completed and I had to carry the remaining items that had been left behind in my car, this was around midnight on 31 January 2015.

I arrived back at 1.00am. I was locked out because the builders had left with the key to the main door. I cried! The removal men unpacked the wardrobe and other items and left them on the doorstep. I begged them to take my TV because my car was full and asked if they could return it the next day. The driver complained that he was tired, but agreed to take the TV and return it the next day.
I had to drive to NW London from Surrey with a car full of possessions and food, some frozen, so that I wasn't left vulnerable in my car.

The next day ( 31st January 2015) my possessions were returned at about 9pm. I offered the removal man £20 for looking after my TV. He told me he needed more for his diesel and to pay his mate, his look and tone was intimidating! I told him I had no more money and thanked him. I shut the front door. The two items of furniture that were dismantled were not reassembled and I will now have to pay a handy man to do this.

I feel as though I was taken advantage of because I was moving on my own and I am a woman. I would be most grateful if you could take my complaint seriously. The conduct of these people representing your organisation was not acceptable. I would also like you to consider compensation.

I received a response saying they would deal with my complaint with 10 days, instead a received a further invoice. After 15 days I received an email saying I needed to pay the invoice I was disputing before they would deal with my complaint!!

Avoid this company.

I used this firm as I am a single parent and needed a company I could trust. This didn't happen. They failed to protect the carpets in both property's and on a rainy day. My brand new sofa was damaged and belongings of mine never made it off the van and into my new home which is theft. I have contacted the company 4 times and still await any sort of acknowledgement. Dreadful experience so please avoid this company at all costs. I wish I'd done the move by myself now.

The worst experience ever.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have never felt compelled to write a review on anything before, but my family's experience with this joke of a company was the worst of our lives.

I have never before purchased a product or service so poor. I could write an essay on the errors made, but I will simply say that every service 'promise' on their website was broken. They were late, the packing team did not have enough boxes and was too small (I had to finish packing), the truck and moving team was too small and as a result they had to send a second truck and more people. I had no choice but to pay for the second team and they increased our quote by an unbelievable 60%.

If I can disuade even one person from using this incompetent company then I will be satisfied.

Long-distance move from Bedford, Bedfordshire to Bedford, Bedfordshire

Terrible Experience.

DO NOT USE THIS REMOVAL COMPANY. I was quoted and paid for the large removals van due to having a fair amount to move (their words - it was a small 3 bedroom cottage 15 miles away to our new home). On the day they turned up with a small van which obviously wasn't big enough to accommodate all of our belongings. They then tried to charge us an extra £450 to do a return trip! We refused as we had paid for the large van so it should have been up to them to rectify. We were then left with 2 sofas, a freezer, a rocking chair, a large tv and a bookcase at our old house which we then had to remove ourselves, whilst caring for our young baby! Furthermore, many items were not properly packaged and 2 fragile items were broken. Our oak dining room table and chairs were left outside in the rain for a considerable amount of time and there was a lot of unnecessary waiting around. Beware of hidden costs: we were charged an extra £135 for extra boxes on packing day that we had not been pre-warned about. I telephoned customer services the following day who were extremely unhelpful. I then wrote a detailed email requesting part compensation but they never replied. Very unprofessional, untrustworthy company. We have paid a lot of money for a service we didn't then receive and are understandably upset. I'm interested to see what the company replies with in reference to this review because they are solely in the wrong and we are awaiting part compensation. It's been over a month since my 2 complaints and we haven't heard a thing. I highly recommend NOT using this company.

Simply.

Cannot fault this company. They sent 2 guys to pack the day before the move. They were quick and thorough. On the day of the move, they arrived on time and just got on with the job. They worked so hard, as we had a lot of things. When we got to the new property, it wasn't the easiest of places to get the lorry in but they managed and unloaded the boxes into all the right rooms, with nothing damaged or broken! Would highly recommend for service and price.

Do Not Use Simply Removals.

It was quite simply the worst move we have ever had. The packing guys on the Saturday didn't finish, the removal guys turned up 2 hours late on the Sunday and had no plan or organisation. My partner ended up having to help load the lorries and most of them didn't speak English.

When they arrived at our destination they were again late, however they had had time to drop one of them off and pick up one of their girlfriends who was riding in the lorry.

Most of our furniture was damaged and once I started to unpack I found the true extent of the damage. They had used wardrobe boxes but as we had more clothes than they had boxes for, the extra clothes had been rammed into the bottom of the boxes. All our drawers had just been tipped upside down into the boxes. Our sofa is ruined our.

Simply Removals.

Having read the reviews for Simply Removals I have to say they sounded excellent & heving never used a removal firm before though I'd give them a go. Our move was booked for 9am on Friday 17th Dec 2010 I was told that I could pay on delivery. However 2 weeks before the move somebody called asking for payment up front - which I did. Moving day arrived & 9.30am nobody had turned, I assumed they were stuck in traffic but gave the office a call to find out if everything was ok. I was told the vehicle had 'broken down' & they were trying to get an alternative team to us ASAP & should be there in a couple of hours. After several phone calls to the office & no definite ETA I asked to speak to a supervisor/manager & they refused to put me through to one telling me they were all busy & I was best to email my complaint over. All they kept telling me was they they are on their way & should be about 20 mins. The guys finally arrived at 2.30pm. Their english wasn't great but I do have to say that they were excellent & worked extremely hard to get everything packed up & moved. They finally finished at 8.30pm, but then had to go back to their first job of the day to finish off.
I firmly believe they overbooked that day & as we had paid up front there was no risk of us refusing to pay when we finally got into our new house - something they firmly deny. Overall I would not recommend this company & they show no interest in sorting out complaints.

It's a con!

I used this company last week, and it was by far the worst house move I have made, all courtesy of Simply Removals.

I had a quote of £310 VAT but when booking I explained that I had alot of belongings so agreed to pay a suppliment of £50 VAT.

When they arrived we were informed that they would not carry any furniture down from upstairs if it was flat pack furniture, this was not explained to us prior to the move date, and it was clearly too late on the day to dismantle them. They offered to do it for us for a charge of £25 per item!

Within an hour of arrival Simply Removals called me to ask for even more money as the van they sent was not big enough, they wanted a further £216! I refused, and suggested that I use another company to which the customer services manager replied 'we will drive away with your furniture and keep it until you pay up'!!

Do not believe the quote they give you, they will add cost on when they arrive at which point it's too late to change your mind.

On the positive side the removal men were pleasant but clearly terrified of this company and terrified of losing their jobs.

Simply Removals Con - Beware.

A CON!!

Simply Removals up the price the day before the move is due therefore holding you to ransom, they do not send a van big enough even when they've upped the price, demolished my wall on the way out and 8 months later I'm still trying to get some money back to pay for the damage - no one has had the courtesy to respond!

Simply Removals were the middle price of three quotes, so not the cheapest option on the market. I booked and paid for the move up front including packing the items. I told the salesman over the phone it was a 3 bedroom semi, no wardrobes with 2 adults and three children in the property - nothing oversize. Quoted £890 - paid for by credit card there and then.

On the day of packing, the day before we moved, we had a phone call to say they had underestimated the amount of things we had and needed to send a bigger lorry - it was going to cost us £500 and we had to pay for it then. The alternative? No removal.

I had no choice and paid the extra. The next day, a tiny van (converted from a regular Bedford style van) arrived. I rang to ask where the bigger van was, clearly we wouldn't get the 55 boxes we paid for into the van, let alone a sofa, dining table and three beds.. they didn't have a bigger lorry available and didn't know when they would. They'd probably have to do two or three trips.

The Polish removal men didn't speak very good English, no point in asking them what was going on. They threw the packing boxes into the van, left little room for anything else and whilst we were still chasing an answer from the removal company about when they were going to get us the lorry we had paid extra for, they drove off the driveway and demolished the wall.

How can you sell a package of £890 including 55 packing boxes and send a van around that doesn't even fit 55 packing boxes let alone any furniture - AFTER INCREASING THE PRICE TO £1400 AND HOLDING US TO RANSOM THE DAY BEFORE??

We had to notify the people moving into our house that we didn't know when we'd be able to get the rest of the stuff out - seriously inconveniencing them. They had booked a removal company who were sitting waiting.

At 2pm another van arrived. A VAN - not a lorry. They were another Polish pair, spoke slightly better English, but again there was no way they would fit the furniture in - bear in mind WE HAD NO WARDROBES!! They didn't know what was going to happen and could only take a few items.

In the meantime, I had to drive on my own to the new house, collect the keys and start the first van's drop off - with my packing boxes and no furniture. My partner had to stay at the old house and sit and wait for another van? No communication from Simply Removals at all. They told me not to worry about the damage to the demolished wall, send quotes and they'd sort it but sorry, no news on another van. WHERE WAS THE LORRY I PAID FOR?

Shock horror, the Polish chaps delivering the first van load then informed me they had to go back to the house to pick up the last load. A 50 mile trip at 4pm on removal day. They weren't happy. Apparently they don't get paid a wage, they get a 10% commission on the sale value. They were really miffed.

My other half was still sat in a semi-full house in Coventry, I had 55 packing boxes with me, no furniture (sofa and dining table on route but no beds..).

To cut a very horrific and long story short. The third tiny van arrived back at 8pm - it was dark by this time, with our last delivery. Simply Removals won't respond to my email to cover the cost of the demolished wall which the lowest quote is £400 and it's now 8 months later, I'm still chasing.

THEY DO NOT OFFER A VALUE SERVICE, THE CONVERTED VANS ARE TOO SMALL FOR 55 PACKING BOXES SO FORGET YOUR FURNITURE. THEY HOLD YOU TO RANSOM TO UP THE PRICE AND THEN DON'T SEND A BIGGER LORRY OUT. THEIR DUTY OF CARE TO THE CUSTOMER IS ZERO.

In their defence the Polish chaps were lovely although struggled to communicate and had a particularly rough ride from the company throughout the day. 10% of £1400 is £140 for 4 people for a days work that finished at 8pm at night? Exploitation.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. GET TIMES OF DELIVERY AND SIZE OF VEHICLE IN WRITING.

They state than other than negligence they won't pay out - I think demolishing a brick wall in one of their vans constitutes negligence, unfortunately, no one will respond from Simply Removals to deal with my claim.

My moving experience.

Dear Simply Removals,

1) thanks for your fast & efficient response for a removal quote and then the clarification of the two options available when I telephoned. That's why I chose SR.

2) thanks also to the two Polish gentlemen who actually did the job (didn't get their names); nothing was too much trouble for them and they were so focused and professional -arrived, got on with the loading, drove to new property and got on with the off loading. That may sound like a job resume but they just got on with it and made a somewhat stressful day less so - please convey my thanks to them.

I sincerely hope I don't have to move anytime soon but I will be calling you guys if the need arrives.

Many thanks.

Van & two men (Min two hours) cost £110 VAT.

From quote to successful move - 14 days. I wanted to move mid day and the guys were on time and the move took just over 2.5 hours.

Please do not use this company. Customer service was poor. My van arrived 2 hours late and as a consequence my buyer was knocking on my door demanding to come in and threatening me with legal costs. This made the day very stressful having lived at that home for 15 years. There were no wardrobe hanging facilities. Only boxes without hangers. Furniture that was difficult to bring down the stairs was brokendamaged or badly marked. The removal men finally left the house at 8 pm however there was still half a garage full of belongings back at the old house which we had to collect the following weekend . When we arrived at the new house most of the furniture was dumped into the lounge despite my labelling of boxes and rooms.  Customer services were most unhelpful. With no apology or offer of compensation for the damage to goods. I would definitely never recommend this company. .

Simply Traumatic!

Less than one star! Expensive, unorganised, rude, money grabbing, lying band of bandits. Turned up late, office underestimated amount of items to be moved so packing not completed. Additional boxes sent next day on move day and our lovely home dumped into boxes which we are still unpacking 5 days later. The packers were told not to do a second trip and we ended up taking our home in our cars (with family & friends) Customer services rude, told me I couldn’t make a complaint until I settle the outstanding amount of £370 for extra boxes. When I told them I had cancer and stress very bad for me they told me my personal circumstances were of no concern to them. Clearly they have no human concern and just want your money!! Do not use this company. We are so traumatised by this dreadful experience, please keep away from them.

I do NOT recommend using this company.

I packed all items myself so all they had to do was lift and shift boxes. They turned up on time to collect our items however they barely said a word to us. Only one seemed to speak English and that was broken. They spoke amongst themselves though! We were aware that our items were going to be stored overnight and delivered the next day however we waited in between the time slot and no-one arrived. We contacted them and one man said they were on their way. We waited and still no sign. We rang again and were told they that had not even packed the van yet. They blamed their lateness on the busy London traffic, as if this was the first day London had been busy! We ended up staying in a hotel, fortunately we had overnight bags with us. They turned up ay 6.30 the next morning and unpacked. Some of the bedroom furniture was damaged as was a coffee table and all my spare bedding was missing (a double duvet, single duvet and 4 pillows). We used wardrobe boxes which were clearly marked 'This way up' with arrows however they were delivered upside down. We contacted them within the 7 days stated on their T&C's both by email and letter, however both were ignored. Fortunately as we agreed cash on delivery we deducted the cost of the hotel from the amount we paid. This was only agreed over the phone after an argument. We did not, however deduct the cost of the missing items as we only realised they were missing after they had gone. I would NOT recommend this company.

Unfair and rude and pathetic customer service.

Simply Removals helped moving our house in June 2017 and we found out that some of the items went missing during the move. After making several complaints via email and phone calls, we received a claims form to fill-up. After claims form was sent to customer services no one even bothered to respond or even acknowledge that they have received it or even it is being looked into for almost a month.
When we called them finally and our phone call was graciously picked by "the best customer services" (as they claim it), we were told to report the missing items to the police, reason we were told that guys (Emilio) who moved our house have denied any knowledge of the missing items. Also, the customer services agents whom we have spoken to have been extremely rude and unfriendly and shouting and told us not to raise our voice on a call. That means customer have top always polite and no reason for any frustration despite the items have been reported missing. Seriously, is this how every customer (barring 10 Downing street) is treated by Simply Removals??

Really had a pathetic experience and traumatic experience ever dealing with the Simply Removals customer services and do not recommend this removal services to anyone in future.

With all this I have zero hope that our claim will be ever processed by Simply Removals.
