Safe Removals

This is probably the worst company (if it can be called one) I ever had the misfortune to deal with. Not only they never showed up at the arranged time, they actually did not show up at all. After more than 20 phone calls where I was lead to believe that the moving will eventually occur - albeit 4 hours late - they didn't even have the decency to tell me that they will be unable to make it. I was left there waiting in vein as they turn off their phones and disappear. I would urge all potential customers to look elsewhere for your moving. .

Couple weeks ago a Safe Removals estimator Brett has visit us to get better idea about the contents we have. After about half an hour of chatting and making notes he was off to the office to prepare a quote for us.

At the end of the day we have received a quotation from Patrick. It was great and even though it wasn't the cheapest we have received we have decided to go with Safe Removals, as they were the only ones that seemed to know what they are doing.

Unfortunately our Agents were not so professional and helpful. We had to change our moving day 3 times! We were afraid that Safe Removals might be booked when we have finally secured a moving date and so they were, but guess what! The have squeezed us in regardless!

Over three days the crew worked very hard and efficient. We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw the guys packing the kitchen. It was so quick and organized.
All the boxes were signed and numbered.

On the moving Day when the guys came the Sun was barely visible on the horizon and they've started the move immediately. During the day we had to keep asking them to stop for a tea and a biscuit!
Everything was taken into consideration. Furniture were protected and secured on the van. They definitely lived up to their name: Safe!

Only when moving you realise how much stuff you really have.. And we have a LOT of stuff.
We were so impressed with the movers that we asked Patrick in the office could book and unpacking service for next day for a bit extra.

Patrick has booked us straight away!

Even though we were paying by the hour we invited the crew for dinner.

We don't anticipate moving any time soon, but if it we will only happen with Safe Removals.

Safe Removals were excellent on our moving date - May 2016.

The day before a bunch of boxes arrived so we could pack stuff, although we had plenty packed already. The SF were employed to move everything from a decent sized family home, pack all the kitchenware, disassemble beds, tables etc.

Moving day the arrived at 9am, 5 of them worked hard and loaded 4 trucks. It did take longer than planned but there was more stuff that we even realised.

only moving a few miles away, but the guys did a great job of unpacking and transporting everything into the necessary rooms including re-assembley. The finally finished and departed at 10.30pm! No complaining, or clocking off early, just got it done.

The crew were courteous, respectful, ask questions when necessary and took care of all the possessions. Nothing was broken and they made sure large items did not scrap and scratch the walls. Also very competitive on price.

All in all, definitely recommended and very professional.

Office staff for booking were also helpful.

At 8 months pregnant, the move was super stressful to begin with. Then when we weren't quite ready on the morning of the move, I was ready to panic, but the Safe Removal guys were really pleasant, patient and they just worked around us as the frantic packing continued. It was not the ideal move but that was entirely our fault. Despite this, the guys made it all happen smoothly, seamlessly and with no fuss at all. They were so careful with all our stuff, their customer service was beyond excellent, they were friendly and understanding, and I cannot thank Safe Removals enough! We moved to a house with cream carpets while it was snowing heavily outside and still NOT 1 broken glass, not a single single scuff mark on a wall, and our cream carpets are pristine! Amazing! We've been raving about their service to anyone who will listen and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking a removal company. Many many thanks.

I can not recommend safe removals highly enough. They came and packed our whole house up the day before, then moved us on the Friday, and provided the best service I think we have ever received, at a very fair price. They turned up earlier than promised on both days, and worked hard, listened to everything we said, were caring, supportive and efficient and made moving house a pleasure! The crew were brilliant, they worked tirelessly and cheerfully. Even when the solicitors appeared to have messed up and the payments seemed to have gone missing at 3pm on the Friday afternoon (nothing to do with the movers, of course) they were sympathetic and just told us not to worry. After what must have been a 14 hour day they were very thorough moving us in, offering to plumb in the washing machine, reassemble our furniture, even move the sofa and tables and stuff around to where we wanted them, and ensuring the boxes were in the right rooms. If you're moving house, go for Safe Removals!!

We used Safe Removals last week after using them once before and having a very good experience. This time around the service was very poor and in fact we had an item stolen from us!

When we told them about this, they refused to reimburse us or even acknowledge this. They told us to go through their insurance if we want, but we need to pay the excess, and also pay them some extra money for VAT as they did not charge us any on the original transaction!

BEWARE!! This is not a reputable company that it once was!!

This company is a scam, they quoted £20 per week for a container storage then charged a fortune more. They did not quote that the use tiny containers and did not forward the invoices on time, then would not release the furniture until they were paid. The storage for a few months came to over £1000 pounds for less than one containers volume of furniture. Be warned, stay well clear of this company.

Be very careful before choosing this company. I have recieved physical threats from them after a poor review.

I used Safe Removals to move me in London. I had a full packing service included and could not have been happier with the men. They came out the day before my removal and packed all my cupboards and delicates, ready for removal. Each box was clearly marked, makind unpacking easy for me (with 3 small kids this was a big help). On the removal day itself the men turned up on time, and were very keen to get started. I was very impressed with how easy they made the move look, it felt like no time until we were unpacking in the new house, and having a much deserved cuppa.It was first Class Service by the safe removals crew. Thanks a lot guys, for making my move day hassle free, couldn't have asked for a better bunch of workers.Highly Recommended!!

We have used Safe Removals for our move about 4 years ago and were quite happy back then, so decided to use them again this time. We wanted packing & move. First slight issue was when they were supposed to deliver the boxes - they postponed it several times, then delivered only some of the boxes, the rest even later. Also never went to have a look at how much stuff we had, despite us asking them - told us they know how much a 2 bed house takes - ok. Our move was scheduled for Saturday 1st Feb 9am. Friday evening we found a voicemail asking if we could reschedule - our tenancy was endind that weekend, so we called back and said we needed to move on Saturday. They asked if they can come in the afternoon instead - we said they told us it's an 8 plus hour job and that we have a small child and can't move till late night. In the end they told us they will come in the morning as originally planned. On the day of the move at around 8am we got a text saying that they're not coming! That was 1 hour before they were supposed to start the move! We tried to get hold of other movers, but since it was obviously so late and weekends are very busy, in the end we had to rearrange our checkout, cleaning and all and move on Monday - very lucky we had a nice landlady that allowed us to do that! I don't know what happened at Safe removals in the last 4 years, but they obviously have trouble with organization, this kind of thing is unacceptable in my opinion.

We wanted to move from our two bed flat from Edgware to a three bed house in Finchley.  A friend of ours told us about Safe Removals and we decided to give them a try after not getting a very good experience with another company in the past. I contacted them by phone and they quoted us based on the volume and distance. They contacted us on the day of the move and turned up on time. The move itself was handled professionally with expert packing and labelling. I found the experience to be stress-free and smooth. .
