Handy Moves are definitely a moving company I would recommend. What I liked about them was; they were easy to get hold of, spoke to a real person who could answer my questions there and then. Sent two guys as no more were needed, I only had a few bits of furniture to move and they managed easily, no extra costs. They knew what they were doing, watched any corners and knew how to manoeuvre the stairs. They seemed to enjoy what they were doing and had a positive attitude. Could have spoken better English, but what they lacked in communication, they made up for in enthusiasm.

I found moving home really stressful and at first I thought the four-team movers sent by Handy Moves were going to make it even more stressful for me! On moving day they called to say they were running late due to traffic but only by about 10 minutes and at least they called. They had given me a really low quote but when they arrived, mentioned that there was a bit more stuff than had been itemised when I called for a quote After we’d agreed the extra stuff which was two extra armchairs and one rather large marble topped coffee table would cost extra £60, they just got on with it. I must say I was really impressed with their efficiency. It always pays to hire professionals in my book.

I have used this company several times over the last few years - mostly because they were good enough the 1st time and I was too busy to hunt for quotes for the subsequent moves. They were horribly late and lost the 1st time, but I decided to overlook this and hope for the best this time. However, I had to cancel my recent move at short notice because of completely unexpected circumstances. I rebooked for just 2 days later, yet Handy Moves charged me a £60 cancellation fee. This is despite explaining my circumstances and giving them 19 hours notice. This shows a complete lack of compassion for a struggling mother and a loyal repeat customer . I will never do business with them again. And would urge potential customers to reconsider.

I hired Handy Moves for my house move on the recommendation of a friend who had moved recently and used their moving services. I only live in a small flat and so I didn’t have much to move but it was on the 8th floor and I didn’t know if they would be able to park their van or if my things would fit in the lift. I was really lucky that the firm knew the area so well. All I had to do was to sort out all the parking arrangements ahead of the time with the building supervisor. They said that if anything needed to be taken apart to fit into the lift and reassembled at the other end, they could do it but it would cost me a little more. As it turned out, everything went completely like clockwork on the day because they were so professional. They did have a slight issue with the assembly of my desk in my new home because one of the fixings was missing but they found it and got the job done quickly once they sorted it! It only cost me £20 more which I thought was well worth it!

In a word: DON'T. HM had no contingency plan when one of our loaders twisted his ankle on the job and had to go to hospital (taken by us because HM said accidents happen, it wasn't their problem). Had to wait 3 hours for a new team. Meanwhile under such pressure from our buyers to get out that we borrowed their movers (very efficient Van Girls) to do an hour's loading (at a price). HM workers were polite and hardworking, despite being paid a pittance, but the company is unprofessional and rude.

I can say that I'm one of the few maybe happy customers of handy moves. To be hones, I read most of the reviews all around the net and the impression I got was tha half of the customers were happy and the other half not so.. As veverything in this life, you know. Anyway, I decided to give them atry and called them, in a couple of days my removal was ogranised and the actual day of moving came. Everything went more than well except with the 40 minutes dealy for the delivery address, luckily that wasn't a drama.

Three weks ago I used the packing and removal services of Handy moves. I was delighted how easy it can be someone else to do this umpleasant thing instead of you. (this was the first time I'm using a company like that). I read that thay arrive late very often, An d yes, this was true for me too, but I was expecting something like that to happen and I wasn't that upset. Thankfully, all the rest of the removal was under control and went the way we arranged it. And the final price didn't change at all, I paid tha amont of money I received a quote for.

Our long dreamed kitchen was finally ready and last thing to be done was just collecting it. My uncle promised to give me a hand on that because he had a van of his own. Unfortunately, luck wasn't on our side and his van broke up the night before the removal and nothing left to be done to fix it for a couple of hours. So, what I did was to call Handy Moves due to a friend's recommendation (he used their services the previous year). They organized our removal in a very short notice and all was great, only 15 minutes delay at the arrival time. After 4 hours and a half my kitchen was delivered to my home address for a convenient price.

I was moving my business to another area and needed a lot of assistance. I was passed on a number of a removal company who would not only do the relocation but also help with the packing. Handy Moves were splendid and did a superb job of the packing. There was a lot of equipment that needed careful packaging, and this was done competently by the staff. The workers were meticulous, but did the packing quickly. I guess they do it every day and have plenty of experience at it. For me to do it would have been a really slow process. The entire load got shipped and delivered to my new premises on time with no damages.

Handy Moves is definitely a company I would recommend for removals in London. It’s quite hard to organise a house move in such a busy city and parking restrictions can really be a thorn in your side. This moving company knew exactly what to do and they moved us at a time that was convenient, helping us deal with all the packing and the loading and dismantling of furniture as this was something that we thought would be a big problem. The movers were very knowledgeable and seemed to know quite a lot about the area of London we were moving to.

Shocking. Please do not use this company! Arrived 2 hours late, were extremely slow at packing the van despite arriving so late and spoke very poor English. They then proceeded to take 3.5 hours to get to our destination which should have taken 1.5 hours. In addition, they took poor care of our belongings which resulted in a broken sofa bed and bookshelf which they are unwilling to accept any responsibility for. We were extremely disappointed with both the team and level of service recieved and it was a horrible way to move in to our new home.

     I recommend Handy Moves because just going by my experience I found them to be very good. I had planned everything out with the company beforehand and they kept me informed of all that was happening. I had to change my moving day quite near the actual day itself but this didn’t seem to be a problem which I appreciated. In fact, I liked that about them most of all, they all seem to be very helpful and whenever I asked for this thing here or there, the accommodated me, as well as my family. A very pleasant experience which is something I didn’t expect to say about my moving day. Many thanks to the company.

For better or worse my husband in all his wisdom decided to leave the removal arrangements up to me. So I was determined to get it right because it seemed to become a little bit of a test he was giving me! Suffice to say I think I did myself proud because I hired Handy Moves who did an absolutely marvellous job on the day and in the build up beforehand as well. The removal men arrived as expected at just after 9 AM and they practically didn't stop all day apart from the actual transporting of course. The price I paid was realistic, unlike some other removal companies I had dealings with, and I was able to share a glass of champagne with my hubby later that night which shows how much we enjoyed the day. Thanks to everyone involved.

I was pleased with how easy my recent ofice removaL went. I hired a nearby removals company called Handy Moves and got a first class service at an incredible price. The assistants were helpful and couldn't do enough. I read a couple of reviews written about them here and there and my surprice was big to find out that nothing was true or at least in my case. The move was well planned and efficient. I managed to sort a time to fit in with my time off, whichmeant that I didn't lose a lot of working hours. I was impressed with how careful the workers were with my equipment and furniture. Thanks somuch for a Great service!

Handymoves did agreat move when I was moving my fashon shop to the nearby city. It was about 20 milesand I had a lot of clothes boxed and on rails to ship.Luckily the stok and office furniture was soon dealt with and on the back of the van and safely loaded by the driver and loader.The two men were really friendly and helpful and did a super job.The bill was fair thouh I paid 50 pounds more than quotd, but to be fair I had forgotten to mention a fewitems in the initial checklist.There were no delays, mishaps and all in all a wonderful service. Great workk!

I quickly got a quote from handymoves for my 2-room apartment, I decided to send quotes to a couple of some sorted companies after my tiny littlee serearch. I'm not of those people who would call a random company without knowing anything about them. So handy turned out to be the best option for my need-first they were the only one who had availabilitu for the exact tim I wanted and second the price they offerd was more than competitive. You know, we all work for money so this ir truly important. The only problem I had on the removal day was taht only one man showed up, despite I asked for two man. The office explained later that having in mind how much things I have to be moved, a single man can deal with it. So you see that they are professionals and know how to do business. I'd recommend them, certainly!

I wanted some of my belongins moved into my new flat. I didn't have a huge amount so decidd to use a local man and van servce I had spotted around the area.The man and van hire was supplied by Handy Moves and they did a great job. I was over the moonat how easy it all went. I didn't have to lift a finger as the driver did it all. The driver was efficient and diid the loading, delivery and unloading.the final price was a bit more than the original one, but hey sent me an invoice with explanation for this and altogether I received a first class job, thanks so much.

aving a team of professionals do the job properly. The packing supplies were good qualty too. The service was excetional and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone neding a reliable removals company. The stff did a super job, and was professional, and the rats were good too.
