City-Removals and Storage

We had to move our belongings in storage for a few weeks as we had a new floor fitted in our flat.
We completed their online quote form and the quote was with us within the hour.
£270 to take everything to storage and another £270 to deliver it all back.In terms of storage they work with Big Yellow which is quite a name in the storage industry and we felt reassured.
The men came on time.They collected everything and brought it all back in the same condition it left.We also had an inventory which we crosschecked at the time of delivery just to be safe.Nothing missing or damaged.
Very good service and experience.

Everything started with a visit from their surveyor.Incredibly patient and polite..she was with us for 45 minutes.All our questions were answered and she explained very well what we had to expect in terms of service if using them.
The price was midrange. If their service was as described than we thought it is well worth it so we decided to go with them.
Our moving day was as we thought it will be.The men came on time.They presented themselves  ,we showed them around and that was it.Some 9 hours later we were already unpacking in our new house.
They were very organized,well equipped and hard working.All from Romania..not that it matters if they perform all the time like this.

Very happy to recommend this company.They took care of all the aspects of our move.From organizing parking at both addresses to packing and moving they provided an excellent service .
We found them on this website.Given they have so many positive reviews we felt quite safe when we decided to go with them.They are also BAR members which was just the icing on the cake.
We have moved twice before.Whilst we never had a bad experience this time it was just better in every way.All our furniture was wrapped and protected.Contents were packed logically and the boxes were properly marked so it was quite easy in finding what we needed.
Our bed and 2 wardrobes were dismanteled and put back together withiut any problems whatsoever.

This was a full packing and moving from a two bedroom flat to another two bedroom flat from south to east London in Stratford.
We were completing on our new property on the same day so we were unsure when we get the keys.
The job started at 7:00 sharp.We had a 3 men crew who packed and loaded everything in a bit under 5 hours.We moved before but we did ourselves.We said never again and this is why we decided to hire a company this time.
After watching them work I would not move myself again for all the money in the world.5 hours is what it took them to pack and load a two bedroom flat..amazing.And they did this without rushing or compromising on the quality of the service.
Unloading was much faster.In two hours everything was in it s place.Very courteous,friendly and knew exactly what they were doing.

City Removals did a great job when handling our move.The crew was absolutely awesome.As we were a little bit behind with the packing they provided us with some boxes they had in the van and also packed themselves.They took apart our beds and one dining table and worked very fast and with care.
They had trouble taking our sofa through the door so they lowered it down from the 1st floor through the balcony.Very skilled and professional to say the least.
Not a thing damaged or missing either.
Coommunication with their office was also superb.
The whole servicewas just what we wanted and I would not hesitate to recommend.

This is the third time we have used City Removals.We always found the service to be excellent and the staff very easy to deal with.
We never had a single problem with them.Nothing was damaged on any of the moves.
We always had diferrent crews but we found all of them were more or less as good as the previous one.They are surely trained at what they do.
The price varied a bit from one move to the other but not by much.This was only because the floors were diferrent.
Also we always bought packing materials from them as they are quite cheap good quality and they get them deliverred to us.
Very happy with the service and also excellent value for monney.

Very relliable and provided an excellent service from start to finish.Our moving dates changed a number of times as did our destination but it did not affect thequote and they were always happy to discuss our needs. The job was bigger than initially assessed, and the destination address had limited access, but they dealt with everything professionally and cheerfully throughout. They worked extremely hard over both days and made a potentially stressful move very easy for us, and all at a very competitive price. They went beyond their call of duty to make what could have been a stressful situation a pleasant and smooth experience. Not once did we feel stressed about anything, they dismantled furniture, reassembled it all at the other end and were cheerful throughout the day. They were exceptionally kind and considerate at all times and were wonderful with my little boy as well who at times kept coming in their way. They packed everything so meticulously and carefully, and delivered it to our new home. They were so patient when we had to wait for our keys too! Top marks.

This was the first time I have ever used a removal company and was quite anxious about the whole big move as was from london to cardiff. But in all honesty it was made so simple with City removals.  They were very accomdating even moving the date for me at short notice. the price was very good and the service was outstanding on the day.  They arrived early, were all polite and well mannered, I explained where everything was etc and then I did nothing. They got on with it all so quickly quietly and efficiently. Everything was packed well no dammages and done very quickly seen as it was a 5 bedroom house.  They then travelled to cardiff and were here in good time and proceeded after I explained where everything went to put everything away in place.  If there were any queries I was asked and consulted etc. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and thank them once again for a job well done.

City Removals were excellent. Very friendly, professional and efficient. Two guys arrived on time, moved everything and dismantled my furniture and reassembled as part of the cost. Very economical company, there were half the price (if not quarter the price) of some of the quotes I received. The only downside being I had to purchase boxes from them whereas other companies would lend you boxes for free, but they were still very cost effective. Helpful phone support. I would thoroughly recommend them. .
