The team we had was absolutely brilliant on all aspects.They were quick,professional and willing to go above and beyond to make sure all was good.
They arrived on time and immediately put us at ease.It is enough to meet them and watch for 10 minutes how they work to realize that you are in good hands.
It was a pleasure to work with all of them including the people in the office who dealt with manny aspects of our move.They were on hand for us whenever we needed.
We selected them from the internet and we did our research on more companies.We chose them based on their very good reviews and they more than upheld their reputation.
We had quite a lot of valuable equipment and furniture but it was extremely well handled and packed up and in the end we had no damages at all.
I wouldn t have any problems in recommending this company.

We moved from west to east London on Saturday February 28th, assisted with graciousness, professionalism and huge amounts of good humour -- as well as huge amounts of strength and stamina. The two people who worked with us were childhood friends, and just worked as an easy, hard working and extremely efficient team. They came early. They stayed late. They never lost their cool, they packed the lorry impeccably, lost nothing, scratched nothing, and were also very pleasant to be with for a day. Wonderful people, excellent service. They also came with good tools, lots of wrapping blankets and they made what can be a really stressful time very easy. It's a great company - from start to finish, from quote to invoice. I don't know (honestly) how they do it this well, this competitively -- but they do. It's very cheering to find such good people.

A very good service with no hitches.Everything was done properly and the company did their job very well.No stress was added to what was already a stressfull day.
They were recommended to me by a friend,but just to get an indication of the price range we aleo asked for another 2 quotations.They were slightly more expensive but in the end it was well worth it.
The whole job took a little longer than expected because of the total and utter incompetence of Camden Council who forgot to put our parking suspension in place even though we paid for it 3 weeks before our move date.But this was not the removal companie's fault.They did everything they could to overcome this by working harder and not making a big issue out if this.
I would give them a 9 out of 10:There is always room for improvement but they provided us with a really good service and I can t pick anything that was not done right.

This is the second time when we have used this company and they have been just as good as the first time.We have now moved back to our newly refurbished house after spending the last 6 months in a rented property.
We specifically asked for the same team and they provided the same men.They made the whole move incredibly fast and easy.I guess having the same team made things that little bit easier as they knew what our requirements were.
Also whenever we had a query In the lead up to the move Ioana in the office was very helpful and also the other ladies whom i spoke to.
The whole move was very well organized and everyone we spoke or dealt with did their best to provide us with their best service.
I have already recommended them to my sister who has already been visited by their surveyor and is now waiting for their quote.
Fantastic service all around.I won t surely be moving again but I would definitely recommend this company.

We asked 5 companies to quote and in the end we chose to 3 companies who came and visited our flat. We were left most impressed by Nicola who was very through in her assesment.She was the only one who opened all the cupboards and even went up in the loft.We received the quote via email on the same day and we immediately booked. They were a tad more expensive than the others but we felt they would do a good job and piece of mind was more important to us than the price of the move. The whole job lasted 2 days.We had 5 very nice and professioanl workers who did their jobs perfectly well and made sure our day was as pain free as possible. What was a relatively easy removal could have been a nightmare with the wrong people but fortunately it  was not our case.The men were very organzied and worked very efficient. The whole service was as good as it gets and we felt well looked after by everyone.

We have recently moved from London to Cambridge.We did not have a great deal to move but still it was to much if we were to do it ourselves.
We contracted this company as they were the cheapest from the 5 quotes we have received.
They provided us with a very good service.We have moved without using a removal company before but after seeing these guys in action we saw what a massive difference using professionals makes.
No stress whatsoever.We wanted to help but the men told us we do not have to.It was a massive difference to when we did it ourselves.
They did not brake or scratched anything either.The move took 8 hours taking into account the trip to Cambridge which is about 90 minutes so it was not bad at all.
The crew were from Romania and after meeting them I was left with a very good impression.
It was not the hardest day for them nor the easiest but they had a good attitude to the end and made our day a lot better than it  could have been.

City Removals moved us into our new property mid december last year.Unfortunately our landlord has decided to sell and we had to move again.
The service provided was as good as the previous time.There was no need for another home survey as we had the same stuff.
I have no idea how these men do removals everyday but the fact is they do it and they are excellent at it.
This time however we bought some new furniture from Ikea and we asked them to put it together.They gave us a separate price for this which we thought was reasonable.It took them around 3 hours in total so it wasn t an easy job,but they managed to do it.
One very tiny incident was that they broke a lamp.The crew appologised  for this on the day and took it with them for repairs.2 weeks later they brought it back fully functional.Excellent customer service.No hassle at all.
Also as repeat customers they gave us 10 per cent off what we paid the first time.

We used City Removals after they have been recommended to us.Just so that we were aware of the sort of price we should pay we also asked 3 other companies for a quote.
They also gave us a 10 per cent discount for being recommended so in the end we went with them.
The whole move was as smooth and stress free as possible.We wanted to do it all in one day as we did not want to be disturbed over two days.In total we had 5 men who came at 06:30 am and they have managed to pack load and deliver all our things by 07:00pm.A long day but it was absolutely worth it.We also left the kids with my parents for the whole day so we had one less thing to worry about.
All the guys were very polite and did a great job.Nothing was too much trouble for them and they went out of their way to make sure we were happy.Beds and wardrobes were taken apart and put back together without a problem.Also a very long and heavy sideboard was dealt with swiftly.I never thought that thing can be dismantelled but it was not a problem for them.
I would definitely use again and recommend them.

A big Thank You to everyone at City Removals involved in making our moving day that almost made the whole thing go unoticed.Starting with the men that did all the hard work and all the heavy lifting and finishing off with Nicola who was so professiknal and friendly during her assesment and Alex who always answerred oir queries and dealt with the council in organizing the parking.
Everyone was extremely friendly and eo willing to help.We felt very well looked after and we felt they have done everything to make things as easy As possible for us.I think more people should know about them and other removal companies should take a note or two out of their book.
We were recommended to this company by a friend who used them almost a year ago and clearly I can now see why he told us to give them a try.
A very good and honest service and some of the best monney we spent in the whole moving and buying process.

These guys arrived early, took our stuff away very professionally using specialised bags for the couches, shrink wrapping the wooden stuff etc. Bit of a hiccough when I rang a week ahead and said I thought I may need a second van  (would have been good if someone offered to come and estimate what was required) and the price went from £320 for a van and two people to £790 for two vans and three people! I pointed out the stupidity of this to the girl on the phone who then rechecked with her estimator who then confirmed that the price was correct but that they would on this occasion charge £720! I booked them for 0930, they arrived early and got on with it. They drove straight to our new place and loaded everything in very quickly, offering to hook up TV's etc. Best of all they got our super king bed up a low staircase and into our bedroom without issue. That can't have been easy. They assembled the bed as well. I think the best thing I can say is that I don't tip very often and I gave these guys a score each as I was genuinely impressed with their work. They came to us WOM from a colleague of my wife's who used them after doing a lot of research on the subject. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Not much to say.A pretty small move that was completed in under 6 hours.The 2 men were probably eastern european but both spoke english and were highly skilled.They came on time at 08:00 AM and after we showed them around they got on with it. We also had a good experience with the office during the booking process.The quote was very clear and most importantly had no hidden charges.What we agreed with them before is what we paid on the day. We also had an hourly rate option but for the sake of our piece of mind we chose the fixed price, which in the end worked out about the same. We also gave the crew some unwanted furniture which they took away to the dump for a small fee. I would sugest to anyone that needs moving services to do their homework and research more companies.There are plenty of cowboys out there,especially in the removals industry and you do not want to be left high and dry on your moving day.                                                                                                                                                        .

This was exactly what we needed.A very smooth and pleasant experience.Staff were on time ,polite and very very hardworking.Also fast efficient and friendly.They were totally hands on and dealt with all the issues brilliantly.
Parking was a bit of a problem as someone decided it was smart to park on the suspension I have arranged with the council.They just parked a bit further from the entrance of our flat and got on with it without complaining.
They were recommended to me by my sister who used them for her move 2 months ago and she was equally impressed.

City Removals moved our house contents while we were renovating our current place.They also organized storage for what were 6 very long months for us. They packed the whole house in just a bit under 8 hours.I think asking them to pack was the best part of the move.They used strong boxes,tons of paper and buble wrapp and all the boxes had a clear description of what was inside.I think it would have taken us a month had we atempted to pack ourselves.Also when they finished packing they took some stuff to storage,leaving less for the following day. The whole team was fantastic.Nothing was a problem and they have managed the whole move in a very friendly and proffessional way.Aleo we arranged with them to have all our furniture wrapped and this is what happened. We shall wayt to see how everything comes back to us but based on our first part of the move so far from us they have 10 out of 10.

We moved from London to Bristol from a 2 bedroom flat to a 2 bedroom flat.We did the packing ourselves as we had the time but this company supplied the boxes which they delivered to us 3 weeks before the move.
They kept to all their promises and delivered a very good and stress free service.They also kept to the price they quoted and we had no other unexpected extra charges on the day.
The 2 men we had(i think from Roumania))were the nicest blokes anyone can find.They were polite and hard working and knew exactly what they were doing.They had a can do attitude and worked very hard.
Also the company is very well equipped.They came with a new,clean and shiny truck.They had blankets,covers tools..anything you can imagine that was required they had it in the truck.
I would definitely use again and recommend to others.There are more and more good and honest companies out there.It is just a matter of picking the right one.

Fast,friendly and efficient.We have quite a lot for a 1 bedroomflat and they sugested the packing should be done one day before the move and not on the same day as we initially wanted.This was not a big problem and we went with their sugestion.I have counted the boxes after they left and they packed an incredible 90 cartoons,so it was clear I underestimated how much stuff we had.
The day after 3 chaps arrived on time and they moved us with relative ease.They had a Luton van and as the addresses were so close they did 2 trips.The whole thing was finished by around 05:00pm.Nothing was broken or damaged.They also took away some boxes and paper that we managed to unpack while they were unloading.
A good service.Price wise they were more expensive than your average man and van but it was well worth it.Well done.

We could not be happier with how the whole removal was performed by this company.The whole job was managed very well from start to finish.The men were very organized and efficient on the moving day and we found the whole booking process and all the dealings we had with their office as trouble free as possible.Everything was explained to us very well before.All our questions were answerred and most importantly what we agreed before in writting happened.Furniture was wrapped and coverred,dismantelled and reassembled with no aditional costs.They took really good care if all our stuff and we ended up with no damages whatsoever.As it was a rainy day the men had to constantly take their shoes off which they did without moaning.   
Everyone looked like they really cared about what they had to do and they did their best to make us feel cared for and in safe hands.

This was quite an easy job removing the contents of a 1 bed flat and moving it all to another ground floor 2 bed.Nonetheless we needed someone who did exactly what they did.An easy job was done with the minimum of fuss and no stress was added from their side.Came on time,worked hard,behaved very politely and took stuff away very proffessionaly.No breakages either,not  even a single scratch.All was wrapped as well.
They did not have to dismantle anything but stillthey had a tool box with them just in case.
We also gave away some stuff we no longer needed and they took this to the local recycling center

Great behaviour by the men as well who were very polite and helpfull.Top company and I would recommend.

Excellent quality service. I moved from 3 bedroom fully furnished property. City Removals turned up on time, worked solidly throughout the day and was massively efficient and friendly. I had used them before and a friend (who I recommended) also used them (very impressed too). Moving is a stressful process and exhausting. From the first call, physical inspection and quote, the moving day, and collecting used boxes afterwards , each were done very professionally. There is a lot to manage for a move and lots of annoying calls with landlords and utility companies, however this company was never in that bucket and I never had to think there would be an issue.

We chose City removals primarily because they were the most responsive company to our request and accommodated last minute date move. I dealt with Silviu Bocan. The move was carried out on 2 days . The first problem was the people that did the move were different on both days so for instance team one packed everything and I was there to explain what was fragile and to be careful with unpacking. Team 2 had no idea , did the unpacking in some a haphazard manner - throwing books in a pile and so many covers were damaged. My printer plug was damaged and so it does not power on. The tv fell of the tv stand and some crystal candle holders were cracked. The carpet was dirty as the movers said it was too dangerous to take the shoes off. And the wall was damaged as the bed hit the corner of the wall when going up the stair case. They provided an insurance company to follow up with and not one of the claims were covered despite me having photos of everything as the reason was the city removals men said they did not see any of the damages and so were not liable. The wall and carpet damage were city removal responsibility not the insurance company and they did nothing about it and just said the it was now down to the insurance company to resolve the problem. they were extremely defensive on the phone and not service oriented at all.
