M25 Movers

We received excellent, professional service from M25 movers crew 'Bumblebee' who packed our belongings and were joined by 'Optimus Prime' the following day to load the vans and move us into our new home. All four of the removal men were respectful, highly professional, fast and efficient. They packed and unpacked all our clothes, fragile and precious ornaments, electronics, as well as art and furniture. Nothing was lost or broken, everything was reassembled and even when there was a 2 hour wait for the transfer of funds, the team remained polite and understanding. A very good service which I would highly recommend.

The sales person I dealt with was very good and there was some room for negotiation on price. I agreed a fully inclusive FLAT FEE. The overall cost seemed competitive.

On the day the moving team arrived on time and started with vigour. They dismantled all the key pieces of furniture and wrapped them well. Unfortunately as the day wore on they got a little sloppy. Our dining table was dropped and one of the legs splintered. The stair walls got damaged as they moved furniture down the stairs. One has to expect a couple of issues so we moved on.

Once fully packed they headed out to the new property and arrived well before us which was good but we were immediately advised that we would be charged for any additional waiting time in 30 min increments. I noted the FLAT FEE arrangement as we had them booked for the day, but this was dismissed. It took us an hour and a half to collect the keys to the new property so we were looking at a couple hundred pounds on top of the FLAT FEE..

The moving team worked quickly to unpack, but largely ignored box labels noting which room items needed to go into (which would later be a real drag during unpacking). They assembled the furniture but were not careful. I observed a worker dropping our oak bed frame so that the hinges connecting the side to the headboard bent..They took a chunk out of one door whilst moving an item of furniture. There was damaged to paintwork and wall plaster..

As everyone knows, moving day is very stressful. I could have lived the errors of the moving team, however the treatment from the head office was nothing short of disgraceful. They take advantage of the situation with intent. For any of the noted damages I would have been more than happy to ignore them and move on, but then being slapped with a huge bill for waiting time in direct contradiction to their FLAT FEE was wholly unacceptable.

Instead of trying to reach compromise they immediately reffered the matter to their "legal team". The "project manager" was unprofessional and offensive. The conclusion is that this organisation takes advantage of their own workers and their customers. They are not truthful or professional and I am unable to recommend them for this reason.

M25 movers made our recent move the most stressful I have ever experienced. It was considerably worse than doing it ourselves and a lot more money.  We had no recourse to address any of the challenges because the boss himself was utterly disinterested. He was very rude to me. 
Imagine a guy showing up the morning of your move and telling you that it's not happening today because his staff are 'tired', that he wont tell you how it IS going to happen, and that there is no point discussing it further because he's the boss and he's not interested in what you have to say. 
When we complained he threatened to stop the move mid way. When we wrote after he threatened me with legal action if I posted a bad review.  Movers and packers themselves were nice guys but only able to work within the constraints set out by the man at the top. Utterly disgraceful customer service.

We moved house exactly a year ago but were too busy renovating the property to put our comments online but now that we have finished we would like to record them. We employed this company last year because of the favourable online reviews we had read and we were reassured by their professional approach before the move. However, when their team commenced it became quite apparent that their priority was speed rather than care. Unsurprisingly some of our goods were damaged. We weren't overly concerned when the glass of a framed picture was shattered in front of us but were very disappointed to discover a valued piece of furniture that we had owned for a long time and had moved with us on numerous occasions had been damaged. After being damaged it had been stacked behind some other furniture in our new garage without anyone informing us. We could only conclude that this was an attempt to conceal it. After the move, when we attempted to claim our rightful compensation their attitude changed completely. They told us we should have warned them it was a fragile antique. As we pointed out it was not at all fragile and we had once taken it abroad in a previous move by strapping it to the top of our car! They refused to pay for the damage and instead offered us a derisory sum whilst denying any responsibility. We refused to accept this as a matter of principle. If we ever move again we would use a company that is a member of the National Guild of Removers and Storers. In an unregulated industry such as the removal business the NGRS do at least operate a voluntary code of conduct and employ an ombudsman which gives customers some chance of receiving compensation in the event of damage to their goods. If removal companies such as this one decide they don't want to compensate you for any damage they've inflicted on you there's not a lot you do about it.

It was a long and hard​ trip from ​London​, where we were before, to our new home here in Portsmouth (Husband, 4 kids and a dog)​, so we searched high and low for a company that we could trust. We received quotes from a few, and eventually decided we would entrust our things to M25 Movers​. It was a tough decision to make, but when we phoned them up they seemed helpful and professional enough to trust.
We spoke with our move co-ordinator many times in the run up to the move, and on the day ​of the move ​the removal crew arrived at 8am on the dot, and set to work packing our things. They had to re-pack a bunch of stuff we'd already done and made a pig's ear of. I'd advise you to just let them get on with it. They really are experts at it. I was amazed how quickly they packed our furniture, and they still somehow treated everything with obvious care.
On the other side of the long trip, at our new house in Portsmouth, M25 Movers ​arrived and moved everything into where we wanted, unpacked everything, and put it all where we wanted it to go. Nothing had so much as a blemish, so they obviously had been careful! I feel like I had so little to do with the actual move itself, they simply took care of the whole thing for us.
It was great, and I'd recommend them to anyone who's considering a big move that they're stressed about. These guys take the stress right out of it.

We used M25 Movers for our recent move out of London. Overall they did an excellent job and I would be happy to recommend.

We paid the small additional fee for a full packing service, so two people arrived promptly at 8am the morning before and worked solidly for three hours with only a single short break to get the flat ready for the move the following day.

On the day of the move itself, the team of six arrived promptly at 8am as agreed, with the same team leader (Adrian) providing continuity. Again, the team worked solidly, packing up and loading our two bedroom flat, getting away shortly after 10am. The promptness meant that we were ahead of schedule, but the movers were happy to wait, meeting us at our new property at 12.30, and unloaded swiftly but taking the time to make sure things went to the right place and that furniture they had dismantled was put back together properly.

There was one small item of damage, where the parcel tape used to secure two lamps pulled away some of the paint. If anything this reflected an enthusiasm for wrapping things up thoroughly and securely.

Overall, M25 movers were diligent, professional, polite, thorough, effective, hard working and excellent value for money. I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

M25 gave us a very reasonably quote and came to look at our flat, so we felt confident that they wouldn't add extra charges on the day having seen exactly what we needed to move (other companies gave rough estimates and didn't bother to look around). The service on the day was excellent; we had a team of 6/7 movers packing up our two bed flat and moving us down the road to a three bed house. They took great care in wrapping fragile items, navigated stairs and tight corners without fuss and were highly flexible when we asked for things to be moved around. They were courteous and quick and very considerate of our belongings. I am 9 months pregnant and was anxious that moving day was going to be very difficult but everything was so much smoother than we could have hoped. We would absolutely use M25 movers again.

I’ve used these guys 3 times now over the past 5 years. I’ve been moving around a lot, from London to Brighton to Lincoln and back to London again. They’ve made it so much easier, being top-class and painless every time. I’m sure I’ll move again soon and I’ll be sure to use them then too! plus already forward their name to a lot of my friends that moving soon, not so easy to find a company that do excatly what they say this days

M25 certainly deliver on cost - under half of the major companies ! Unfortunately it turns out that we paid dearly for our decision to go 'on the cheap'

Alarm bells first sounded when we noted that throughout the inclusive packing service - none of the boxes were numbered and checked out/ back in during the move. We have relocated many times throughout the world and this has always been the norm.

Our major items of furniture were also not properly wrapped and I was particularly alarmed that a precious wooden ornament was not sufficiently protected. -I pointed this out to the removal supervisor who grudgingly wrapped it in a blanket. Subsequently it has sustained damage.

At our new house we realised ( all too late ) that we were missing a box of precious family photographs and other items such a a bedside lamp, reading glasses cook books etc - nothing super valuable but precious to us all the same.

The real disappointment has been the absolute lack of interest shown and indeed we feel as though we have been stalled and put off from making a claim. Here are the conditions as ( finally ) sent by their claims department:


"In brief, your claim will not be processed if:

1) It is worth less than £250.00;
2) If there was any other contractor working in your home at the same time as M25 Movers Ltd;
3) If your item is more than five (5) years old;
4) If more than seven days have passed between the date of your move and the filing of your claim."

The goods are not worth 250 pounds -

As we used a hoist operator to remove the goods ( well trusted and used before ) we fall short on point 2.

The items are mainly family photos - very precious and over 5 yrs old.

Although originally reported within 7 days - We have since been put off and stalled at every turn and so unfortunately we are out of luck.

We have learnt our lesson but I shall continue to fight to get them to take us seriously and deal with our complaint.

In the meantime I can in no way recommend M25 Movers.

We had to undertake some major renovations on our house, for which we were forced to move out and rent a flat for a whole year. As you can imagine this was very stressful. Seeing that this was a temporary situation, we decided to rent a storage facility for some of our belongings and only take the necessary things to the flat. Since this was a fairly big project, we needed some strong hands to help out and we wanted one company for the whole job (Moving out and back in). After spending quite a lot of time researching and getting offers from different moving companies, M25 Movers  provided us with the best overall offer and we went for it. Now back at our house after the whole thing I can say that we were very fortunate in our choice. When we first moved into the temporary apartment, they brought all the right items to the flat whilst taking everything else to the storage unit. On the way back a year later we experienced a similar efficient and friendly service as before. No delays, no unreasonable extra charges and no damaged items. Me and my family were very happy with M25 Movers and can only commend their hard work and professionalism.  .

Moving from a two bed flat in London to a detached house on the outskirts we had a superb experience with M25 movers. From start to finish the team were professional, careful and courteous. The estimate of how much we had to move and how long it would take were spot-on. They really took the stress out of the move and made the whole move as smooth as possible. Everything was carefully wrapped and loaded, and all our belongings and furniture arrived at the destination on time and without any mark of the move. For our next move we know where to go!

We've used M25 to move from a 4 bed house. They kept us informed throughout the process from the booking to the unpacking, asking for feedback at each step. The staff were very professional and friendly. They handled our stuff carefully from packing, moving and unpacking. Nothing has been damaged. During the move we could have done with 2 or three more team members but they were all fully booked. The job has been completed in a reasonable time. If we had to return the keys earlier that day, they would have increased the number of team members. Overall very good experience with friendly and professional staff.

These guys are absolutely fantastic - I rarely write reviews but they did such an excellent job I really wanted to recommend them. They were great right from the very first phone call to even coming back a couple of days later with a couple more men to hoist my sofas over a wall (they wouldn't fit through the narrow doorway). Professional, polite and way beyond the service I was expecting - it was a bit of a tricky move (both out of the old building and into the new flat) but they made it look easy, and all with a smile! Fixed cost as well (which was important to me - I know a few people who were given low quotes only to get stung during/after the move). If you're looking for a removal company then I can't recommend M25 Movers highly enough. Excellent, 10 out of 10 (and extra stars too)!

Toni and the team were excellent. We set a demanding move of pack a three bedroom flat in Camden and move to Suffolk and unpack in a day. They did it with ease. They took great care re parking - very difficult in Camden. We thought their packing needed more paper, compared to previous moves, but nothing was broken and all arrived perfectly. Also having followed them for a while on the road they drive very safely. I will use them again and ask for Toni. Such a nice group. Many thanks, M25 for taking the stress.

Just a massive thank you for the team's work today.  They were quick, professional and I am so happy that my mum was thrilled to have everything done so diligently and quickly.  Everything was done efficiently, from quote through to booking - seamless and easy.  The team turned up exactly on time and it was all done and finished end to end in under 15 minutes.  Delivery on the other end was super efficient too.  Great service and I would highly recommend to others.  I will definitely be using this service again in the future.
