Fantastic Removals

On Monday I booked Fantastic Removals on short notice for a two-bedroom apartment moving from South Kensington to Richmond. I took advantage of their packing services as well, and I must admit I am pleased with the job done. The team arrived on time, and it took them 8 hours to pack everything, loaded on the van and unloaded in my new apartment. They were wearing masks and gloves and kept the 6 ft distance from me all the time. Also, they were cautious with my belongings, and everything arrived safely in my new apartment. A colleague recommended me Fantastic Removals, and I will make sure to recommend them to everyone as well because they did excellent work. Thank you so much for making my move so smooth and stress-free, especially in these challenging times for everyone.

We’re very happy with the service from Fantastic Services. Arrived early which meant we could start nice on time. They were professional, took an overview of what needed to be moved & then loaded the van with high speed. We were quoted for 5 hours but they finished the entire job in 3 hours (including loading, moving and unloading) which resulted in our initial quote being recalculated and having a much lower end balance. They were extremely careful with all our cupboards and furniture to ensure no scratches / damages. Should we move again we will definitely be contacting fantastic services. Also bonus points for being very intentional about not allowing my pregnant wife to try and move anything. They were quick to assist and made it seamless. When they unloaded they also put every item into the right room & as we moved into a brand new home they took their shooed off every time they had to go upstairs as to not ruin our brand new carpets. This is the second time I have used Fantastic Services for removals in the last year and they are so hard working. They were really careful with my things and disassembled and reassembled items without my requesting them to do so. They moved some really expensive items and were so careful. And they packed them really carefully in their van. They are also really quick. In my opinion they offer good value for money for the service you get. I honestly wouldn’t use anyone else.

Touch wood, they have never failed me. I have used them now for moving three times, cleaning once - and I have friends who have used them for moving on my recommendation.

Every time perfect. The communication is perfect. Any queries, they respond to quickly. They are honest with up front pricing and the final price. The people arrive on time as they say. They do the job, and they do it well and without complaint.

So many companies I end up arguing with as customer service seems to be largely dead these days. So, when you're in the middle of the stress of moving, it's great that Fantastic do a job and they do it WELL.

Move size: Studio flat Service cost: £172

The most shocking service I have ever received. Bumped out slot back by 4 hours despite booking week in advance. Then turned up 3 hours late(!) for the re-arranged slot. Then left our stuff outside with the van unlocked. Being late meant we were unable to collect items from Curry’s which was part of the original quote and we had to pay for a separate taxi to resolve. Then spent 45 minutes driving to the wrong address which they billed us for despite their poor navigation being nothing to do with us. When we called to complain they failed to accept any liability or provide any useful advice on remedying the situation. And, to top it all off, they’re now trying to do the same to our old flat mate.. ABSOLUTE BUNCH OF CHANCERS! Avoid at all costs!

It was the first time we moved with a professional moving company and the experience was top notch! We booked the removals and packing combo service. So first, the boys packed our things and then transported them to the new place. Sounds simple, but there’s nothing worse than arriving at your new place and waiting for all your belongings. They even arrived early. Everything was there, nothing was lost or broken. I must admit, using a removals company takes a lot of the stress away. I would recommend anyone to use Fantastic Removals for their move.

Please please please think twice before using Fantastic Removals.

We used them for packing and removals across London, and 3 items of jewellery went missing. We found the box the jewellery had been in crudely hidden in a bag of odd socks when my wife was searching for jewellery for a family funeral. We contacted the police who wouldn't take the case further due to insufficient evidence.

And Fantastic Removals have refused any liability or compensation, refused to conduct an internal investigation, refused to give us their insurer's details so we could make a claim and refused to actually have a live phone conversation with us about it despite repeated requests, instead hiding behind emails. Worst of all, the team who moved us are still contracted to Fantastic Removals and so this could happen to another customer. It doesn't look like we'll see a penny back.
