Fantastic Removals

Damaged rug by using it to wrap our table top which had sharp corners. Agreed to reimburse after many many calls and emails and time spent. However they also damaged a wooden sideboard by leaving it half way into the lift and allowing the lift doors to close on it repeatedly (doors stop when they feel resistance and don't try and close again for 10 seconds) and refused to compensate as claimed the lift was faulty. Claim they have insurance but refuse to actually use it. Fairly intimidating "supervisor" too.

Lost items (perhaps stolen), damaged items and no response to complaints anf customer care emails.
These guys are as dodgy and as bad as it gets. Miraculously loosing brand new still packaged gifts in a move just doesn’t add up. I literally watched one of the movers tip and empty a drawer of contents into a cardboard box.
I’m so disgusted by their behaviour and comments, I was asked how much my rent was multiple times after stating I didn’t want to disclose such information?!
Of all things my cardbord cutter was also taken.
Despite my anger at my mistreatment I’m also sad for the disrespect as to my precious belongings. I don’t understand how people can do such things and not suffer guilt.
I don’t want anyone else to suffer the same fate, do not use this service.

Really upset and unhappy with this service and would advise against booking them. I rarely leave unhappy reviews but this was awful and I’d hate for other people to go through what we went through and are still going through. Deep scratches to a new desk, and now need to replace the desk. Even though I have called/emailed many times this has still not been resolved. Whilst I understand the job is difficult they didn’t seem like professionals in that they damaged the newly painted ceiling by trying to take furniture up the stairs, and did not show respect to our belongings. I would strongly advise against using this company- May appear cheaper but the quote for the time spent is inaccurate and ended up costing more than ones which have good reviews. Very very disappointed and I am still awaiting a response regarding the damage to my desk- supposed to be an insured service. Not an honest service and when you are handling other people’s belongings you really should treat it with respect at the very least!

This company simply called me the day before I was going to move to another flat asking me if I wanted to reschedule the service because they wouldn't be doing it on the day that I had booked! Apparently this was because of the cycling event that was going to happen in London that weekend, which, contrary to what was affirmed by the saleswoman, would NOT affect my area. So it was that I called another removal company and they had no problem in doing the removal service (which, by the way, was extremely professional and efficient and was cheaper than what I would have been charged by "Fantastic" Removals. The company should have at least anticipated itself and not called their customers at 4:00pm on the day before and simply expect them to reschedule the service - people have commitments and I had to leave my apartment on the day that I had booked the service for. What if I could not find another company to provide the removal service? I had to call 3 other companies in order to get it for the next day. It's totally unacceptable! First and last time that I use (or try to use, as it was the case) any service offered by this company.

Service cost: £77

Misleading salespeople take your order, and fail to tell you correct facts. The very small matter of the temporary storage facility not being open on the same days the removal men work seems like an obvious oversight. However, that ended up costing my wife and I more than £2,000 in additional costs. And when I complained, I heard only silence. No apology, nothing.

I've used these people in the past to arrange oven cleaning (which was good). However, this is clearly too much for them to handle.
