Clockwork Removals & Storage

This was the third time using a professional removal and packing service within the space of 5 years (one of which involved moving from Europe) and this was by far, the most disorganised, stressful and incompetent removal we have experienced. Here is a list of the issues we endured.
- Packers didn't complete job day before meaning I had to pack a great deal on the morning of the move.
- Vans were not large enough to complete job and required a third van to come to the rescue. Management didn't answer my voicemail and phonically requesting clarification.
- Clockwork employees left early (without communicating to us), leaving job to the sublet company employees.
- Clockwork employees severely (see photos) marked and dented the wall during the moving in process.
- Received no after-sales call despite the calamities mentioned above

Moving house is always a stressful experience but somehow Clockwork managed contribute to this stress instead of alleviate it.

We were recommended "Clockwork removals perth" -the company were so professional and everything was so less stressful for us due to their efficiency, "Debbie" and "Courtney" arranged everything-their help and courteousy was very much appreciated and we found we had too much stuff to fit in to our next house-No problem!-they arranged on the spot for excess items to be put in to storage with them, the removal men (Brian and Craig)were brilliant and everything was made so easy for us due to the competence of the company-would recommend "Clockwork Perth" highly and would not use any other removal service. Beware - Sneaky company

I booked a full packing and unpacking service with this company and they over charged me ridiculously.
During the intial assessment I was told that we could change anything in our booking and it would be taken off the cost. Well this never happened all I was given was a bunch of excuses.
I was told that 2 people would be there to pack and 1 was sent .
Even though we binned a lot of our stuff before the move they still insisted on charging us £973 for a job that we did half ourselves.
When querying this they refused to refund any of the money and insisted that they were justified on the charges.
Be careful of this company because what they say and what they do are two different things.

We had a very good experience with Clockwork when they came to move our furniture and boxes to storage. Maciej and Michal were excellent on this occasion. Luke and Barts came to bring back our things. Guy was our first contact to give us a quote.
We have no idea where these people gathered their strengths and skills to carry and manoeuvre round tight corners but they did an excellent job. We offered them coffee and biscuits to which all of them politely declined because they wanted to get on with the job. Punctuality was excellent and work completed professionally. Your positive attitudes speak louder than any advertisements. All four of them were so polite and obliging, smiles on their faces and nothing is too heavy. Absolutely amazing!! The men were lovely however they did not inform me that they damaged one of my items and visibly tried to fix it. When I contacted the company they offered me a very disgraceful price in compensation to the large item and this was WITH damages insurance. They based the amount on how long id had the item and which make and model it was but simply taking my word for it. I am now out of pocket even more than I was after paying almost £1000 for the removal. Unsatisfied customer. Unaccetable. My advice to anyone who goes with them is to lie about large things they have damaged and tell them it was 10x the price it actually is and tell them that you have only had it for a month because my honesty has clearly gotten me nowhere with them!

The whole service from start to finish ​ was​ simply​ excellent​. Guy, the manager came round and gave us a quote on our move - he was very friendly and made us feel at easy. ​The booking process was easy and the team kept us informed. Clockwork made our moving a stress free experience and just what we had hoped for especially given we were also looking after our young baby throughout the day.

​Macek arrived the day before ​and packed the ​entire 5 bedroom​ house​! He worked very efficiently and ​as we unpacked our stuff at the other end over our move, we could see that he packed and labeled our stuff with care, and as such that all our products including our glassware arrived ​with no breakages - ​ we​ can't ask for more than that! ​Macek also dismantled many wardrobes, beds the day before - not wasting a single minute ensuring moving day was as worry -free as possible - he simply was god-sent.

​On moving day your team of three Macek, Bill and Niki arrived in good time an had packed the entire house by 11:30am to our amazement. I believe it was Niki that was in charge of organising the packing of the lorry - what a clever mind he has - watching him, we were able to appreciate why packing is an art form! The three of them worked so well as a team and worked incredible hard, nothing was too much for them. They were truly professional throughout the ​day, very polite and treated our belonging with respect. These three are truly a credit to the clockhouse team. They worked conscientious ​ unloading the lorry at the other end of our move, placing all the furniture in the rooms of our choosing and in many cases reconstructing the furniture to an excellent standard.

We would highly recommend clockwork and would use them in the future if the need occured.

Have moved twice in two years bet ween Aberdeenshire and Inverness using Clockwork Removals.

Chose clockwork removals both times as they appeared professional and their quote was competitive against some of the larger removals companies.

Positive experience both times. Crews polite and friendly. All our items returned in the same condition after the move and storage. Office staff also pleasant to deal with.

Would recommend the Inverness branch.

From the initial contact through Adam, to the final sign off at our new property, the performance of the Inverness team was flawless, courteous, and professional. On the day of the move, the guys worked on their own initiative, protecting, packing and storing my possessions, but checked in periodically for confirmation of what mattered to me.

Having had a very bad experience with a previous mover when I relocated to Inverness, the Clockwork team restored my faith in removals and is a necessary expense that you shouldn't take short cuts over.

They also had the most comprehensive and competitive quote.

The guys in Inverness were fantastic from first contact for a quote, right through to us returning the boxes. They were friendly, efficient and reassuring. Flora and Adam were easily contactable and able to answer all my questions. All our items, including a 200 litre glass fish tank, were well packaged and taken good care of. The whole team were extremely good humoured, which was much appreciated at such a stressful time and it made it a pleasure dealing with them. We would highly recommend the clockwork team based in Inverness.
