It was the first time that I hired a removal company so, before I decided which one to go for, I had spent hours on the Internet researching the industry and writing down some names of its bigger and smaller players. I had various quotations, requested home surveys. To cut the long story short, I chose City Removals. The estimator who visited my property was a lady with a very professional approach, answered all of our questions and offered us a very good deal.
On the day of removal, the porters and their supervisor turned up before the agreed start time of the move, prepared all necessary materials and tools, explained us all the process from start to completion. They made sure our furniture and any fragile items were wrapped in special blankets and delivered them safely to the new house. Again, they were very professional, worked hard and finished earlier than we thought. We were very impressed by the quality of their service, everything went smoothly and trouble-free.
If I ever decide to move again, I will definitely use City Removals - a company that I'd recommend for their professionalism and experience.

We booked City Removals for a move from Essex to Kent and I was extremely happy with the service we received. The removal team were punctual, friendly, and took great pride in their work and within minutes of them being there I knew I had chosen the right company. They moved things with care and wrapped things to keep them safe (like my easy to scratch coffee table) before transporting them to the van. They also provided cases for the sofas and lent us some boxes for the few things we had forgotten to pack up. Lastly when it came to unloading they placed things with care and took care navigating around tight corners, they were also happy to move things if we wanted them in a slightly different place. I would definitely recommend this company.

I was recommended this company from a work colleague and was so pleased. The packed and moved me from my 1 bed flat into a 3 bed terrace within the space of 5 hours (including an hour break while waiting for keys).

We had relatively little furniture but the furniture we did have were large items (mahogany super king bed) or antiques. Can confirm none of my furniture pieces were damaged in the move as they wrapped and packed them up superbly.

The gents on the day were really friendly and we moved on the day which so far this year had the most rainfall. There were no damp/damages regardless of the rain.

I have already recommended their services to a friend and will to many many more.

This is the first ever review I have written but feel I need to write this so that others can read about the amazing service we received - I cannot recommend City removals highly enough. Before the quote city removals visited and checked out what we were moving - including garden and shed. We paid for packing service and move. 3 packers arrived 8am on Thursday and by 5pm had packed all our belongings into boxes. The care the team puts into packing every item in paper is amazing. On Friday 8am a team of 5 arrived to pack all our belongings into their vans. At the other end everything unpacked by around 5pm. The team hardly stopped at all - taking care to put all boxes in the correct rooms, and making sure that there was covering on all carpets to ensure no mess. Wardrobes and beds were reassembled as well as the washing machine being plumbed in. We have been unpacking over the last 3 weeks and so far everything is intact. Even the most fragile of glasses have travelled well. I would definitely recommend City Removals to anyone considering a stress free removal and excellent service.

We can only say it was an excellent experience using City Removals. We found they gave an outstanding professional efficient service at a very sensible reasonable price. They were communicative and kept us informed every step of the way.

Moving from our property in South London to Wiltshire (115 miles) we found sourcing and deciding on a removal firm one of the hardest decisions. We invited eight firms to provide quotes and were genuinely surprised with the difference in service and price offered for the same house with the same cubic meters, every company had a different assessment??

We decided to instruct City Removals because we liked their presentation, their quote was straight forward and totally inclusive. No added extras like all the other firms.

It is certainly a strange feeling putting your life in the hands of a removal firm, but over a two day removal, packing on day one and the move on day two we certainly made the right choice. From the off two guys on day one worked tirelessly packing for 8 hours. Day two a team of 6 arrived at 7.00am and they were on the road by 11.00am. Arrived in Wiltshire in good time to unload and by 5.00pm they were gone.

To Sum up we were very impressed with City Removals and we have no hesitation in recommending them. Thankyou to all the team for your help and positive attitude, we enjoyed working with you.

We used them to pack and move our 3 bed house to a 4 bed. Came in the day before the move and packed everything, safely and securely in a few hours. On removal day they were so quick and efficient, even with some of our more troublesome items (sofa getting into the new front room and our treadmill needed dismantling to fit through the house). No fuss and worked tirelessly. Came back a couple of weeks later to pick up their removal boxes to be reused/recycled, which is a fab added bonus. On time, in fact early every day. Would definitely recommend and use again.

We found this company on line.They also came and visited our property.We were convinced by their good on line reviews,by their very polite surveyor and by the fact that they are members of the British Asociation of Removers.
The service provided was top notch and totally hassle free.Boxes were delivered in advance,parking was booked with the council,e-mails were promptly answered,no hidden charges..just a really good and honest service.
The men that took care of our move were from Romania,not that this matters in any way.They spoke good english and communication was not a problem.They were polite,maybe overlypolite sometimes and made the whole move look easy.
A definite yes to back up the company and we would certainly use again.

We recently used city removals to do a full house removal including packing, dismantling wardrobes and unpacking at new house. The quote for this we thought was very reasonable an given we couldn’t do much as we had a 10 week old baby they was very little needed doing prior to them coming on removal day.
The only bad point was that they couldn’t go up the attic for insurance purposes.

When at the other house the previous owners hadn’t properly moved out so they did what they could and worked hard into night to make sure my baby boy had a cott to sleep in that night.

Cant thank city move enough for their amazing service!!

We booked this company to collect and store our things from Manchester.The storage place was in London.2 weeks later when we found a flat they brought everything back.
The whole service was excellent.The most important thing is we have no damages and nothing missing.
We also needed acces to our room and they provided us  with the acces codes.All the things were very well stacked and they also used plenty of blankets inside the storage room.
Delivery from storage was booked for 2 PM but they arrived a little bit earlyer.As we dis not have the keys they were happy to wayt and made no fuss about it.
They also took their shoes off when we asked them as to not dirty the carpets,because it was raining outside.
All in all a very good service.
