We used this company to move to London.We We wanted a London basee company rather than a local one to handle our move.
The only negative is that they arrvied 30 minutes late in the morning but this was acceptable as they came to us all the way from London.
Apart from this everything went as smooth as possible.3 very polite and hardworking men.They are clearly instructed to behave and to go beyond their job description to keep customers happy.
Altough it was a long day this was by no means their fault.They explained that they canot rush too much as their first priority is the safety of our things.Could not have agreed with them more.
Overall a very good experience and very good value for money.

I opted for City-removals after reading the reviews, and exactly like others said, good service to help through the stressfull situation. They were very polite, arrived on time, were careful and I felt it went beyond of what was expected. All the other quotes I received had an hourly rate, which I know it wouldn't  make me feel comfortable, looking at the clock and wondering if they could be quicker. City-removals had a fixed rate, and it was the best quote as well. Communication also was very prompt with their offices. I would use them again.

Please use this company to do your removals, they are the best.  So helpful, friendly and professional would have no doubts about recommending them to do a move.  We had them to move from Surrey to Cornwall and they were just brilliant!  The lady who did the quote was so lovely and the removal guys on the day were so helpful and polite and worked tirelessly during the move, which included a lot of driving.  All goods delivered in great condition and put where we wanted.

We used City in April 2018 to move from a 3 bed house to a 3 bed flat. I chose them for their competitive price and was generally pleased. They packed for us on two days, then did the removal on the third. They took good care of our things and were adaptable and resourceful - one sofa was too big to go in through the front door, so they had the idea to lift it over the neighbour’s garden fence which worked well.
The only issue I had - for which I’ve deducted a star - was around the parking. It was double yellows outside our destination so I’d arranged a parking suspension on the residents’ bays opposite. However I was then informed that the movers weren’t insured to carry stuff across the road, so they parked on the double yellows and got a ticket or two. I thought this would be their responsibility but then, at the most stressful part of the day, I was handed a phone to their head office who casually informed me those tickets would be added to my bill. Really annoying and frustrating when I had spent money and time organising the suspension, and this really put a dampener on the moving experience. Other than that, City were good.

This is the second time we have used the services of this company.On both occasions we have found them extremely proffessional, well manerred polite and with the most can do attitude possible.
The men that did our move were a pleasure to deal with.They did everything fast ,without any damages, sometimes even going the extra mile when asked for.
They also spoke very well about their company which is also a joy to hear nowdays. 
We moved from our 3 bed flat in Romford to a house in Enfield.
All in all a 5 star service.

We have recently used this company to move from Romford to Epsom. They very kindly offered to do a home survey,something that not many companies agree.We would have never chosen any company without seeing someone eye to eye.
Nicola was a very nice and polite lady who answered all our questions honestly.She was also very thorough in looking over our belongings. In our word she inspired trust.
The quote came in the following day and it was quite competitive so we decided to commit.
On the day the guys came on time.The move went along nicely with no breakages.The men were very organized and very experienced.They saw the house in the morning and started to work.
The whole moving experience was smooth and pleasant.We were left quite impressed by the whole thing.We imagined moving men are rough and not very polite but this crew changed our mind.Also they were clean and spoke English so communication wasn't a problem.
Based on our experience I would not hesitate in recommending this company.

We moved 2 weeks ago from our property in Romford to nearby Hornchurch.
Our decision to use this company was based on their online reputation which seems to be rather good ,the very good impression their assessor made when he visited our property and of course the price.
The service was excellent from start to finish.The crew we had was from Romania but they spoke very good English and we had no trouble communicating with them.
They worked fast  and professional all the time.Also always happy to share a joke just to ease the stress of the day.
As we had to move quite fast because of our 2 children our crew was made of 3 people.
By 5 PM they were on their way home.
We are very happy with the way this company behaved and with the men that helped us and we have no hesitation in recommending.

City Removals moved us from a small 2 bedroom flat on the second floor in Romford to a temporary house across the road. The whole service was extremely good.The 2 chaps worked very hard and were very careful with everything.They were also very polite and clearly they are instructed by the company to be as nice as they can be. It took them 3 and a half hours to load all the flat into the truck.Their stamina is absolutely impressive.Almost 4 hours of constantly going up and down 4 flights of stairs and no sign of fatigue. They had a short 30 minute brake before unloading all in the new house with the same speed and efficiency. We will definitely use them again when ee will finally move into our new place hopefully in 6 months time.

I booked two lorries to collect a great deal of assorted furniture and belongings from several parts of the south of England. Both teams attended early and took great care in packing and stacking all my items. Everything was delivered and unloaded swiftly and in pristine condition. I have moved many times in the past 5 years and each time I have used a different company. I will definitely use these guys again. They were careful, efficient and professional from start to finish. To top it all they were incredibly reasonably priced. Great job. Thank you.
