Exceptional service!

My husband and I were over the moon with Cavendish's excellent communication, survey, and removal team. Every step in the process went smoothly, and everyone was as kind as they were professional. On the actual moving day, we could not believe how quickly, carefully, and efficiently the team worked, especially during the heatwave we were undergoing at the time. They were so positive and pleasant to interact with, making an otherwise stressful undertaking more easygoing, and we appreciated that they came back to collect the boxes. Could not be happier with Cavendish’s service all around, and we would definitely use them again and recommend to others. (Please note: Our "Move size" was a 2-bedroom flat, not 1 as indicated below, but that option wasn't listed).

Helpful and empathetic.

Fantastic removal company.

After 32 years in a large house in London I downsized to a small flat.

This was a very traumatic decision & I was dreading the day of the actual removal. I need not have. Cavendish & Country, who gave me a very competitive quote, were absolutely amazing, very efficient and extremely quick & professional. They realised that this was a difficult day for me and could not have been more helpful & supportive. They kept me informed throughout the whole process, put things in the correct places in the new flat. Everything was packed perfectly, there was no damage or loss and they turned what could have been a horrible day in my life into a happy day with no stress whatever and I am forever thankful that I chose Cavendish & Country.

Efficient, Friendly, really great service

C&C are the best removal firm I've used, considerably better than my experience of franchise companies in every aspect of the process. They may be a little more expensive, but the peace of mind and their understanding and efficient service is worth every penny. Our solicitors didn't manage to exchange until 24 hrs before completion - the legal part of our sale and purchase was nightmarish- yet Nick and his team were completely understanding and did everything to help in an awkward situation where we ended up packing and loading the vans before exchange!

Packing was done efficiently and very well by a friendly, understanding team (this was in lockdown). Even our plants came to no harm. The move was over 4 days (London to Dorset) and really smooth, with C&C researching the access and using the right size vans to avoid problems. Highly recommended!

Slick, quick and relieve a lot of stress!

We'd never used a removal service before and needed a lot of help moving from a top floor one bed flat into our first home. The Cavendish & Country team were outstanding from start to finish – they delivered boxes promptly, packed away fragile items with care, went above and beyond when packing some items we'd forgotten about and put everything exactly where it needed to be when arriving at our new house. We couldn't recommend them more highly!

Great attention to detail and care

Cavendish & Country did a big move for us from London to Devon, with lots of high value/awkward items and multiple pick up locations to also move some business items in storage. The team were very efficient and took every care with our belongings. They were friendly and professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them - you get what you pay for and they provide great value.

Excellent Service (yet again!)

Cavendish & Country helped me with my recent move from Wiltshire to London in October 2021. I have used the company several times over the last decade and, as usual, they were brilliant. Reliable, hard-working, pleasant, well-mannered staff who "get on with the job" and "go the extra mile": it was no problem dismantling and re-assembling awkward items of furniture, for example. I'd met some of the team before, so it was good to see familiar faces, and they're always a pleasure to work with. It's a re-assuring sign to see staff so well committed to their employer.

Not forgetting Nick and Clare and the other back office staff who make the whole thing seem effortless.

All in all, hugely recommended.

I used Cavendish & Country to move house in 2021, it was around the time of the Stamp Duty freeze when everyone was moving, but they managed to squeeze me in! They were so supportive, flexible and did such a fantastic job. They dismantled and packed everything and I then ended up having to use their storage facilities as my new house wasnt ready. All very stressful, but they were professional, friendly and a joy to deal with. I cant recommend highly enough.

First time using C&C based on friends' recommendation and we were so happy we did. Great customer service from start to finish. Had a full pack service moving from London to Bucks which was packed on day 1 and shifted on day 2. The guys were really careful with our stuff and pleasant to work with. Boxes were collected within a couple of days of letting them know we were ready. Highly recommend.

Professional and thorough

From booking the move through to the actual day, the team at Cavendish were fantastic. We had lots of really clear, proactive communication in the lead up to our move, which was really appreciated. On the day, the three men who moved us arrived promptly and got to work straight away. They were very polite and efficient. I couldn’t believe the speed that they got through to packing. On the other side of the move, they unpacked even quicker and left us with a handy Stanley knife to flat pack all of the boxes. Arranging for the boxes to be collect after we’d unpacked was also really simple and incredibly useful. I would highly recommend Cavendish to anyone who wants to take the stress out of their moving day - they were so good that we actually just felt like spare parts on the day! They took full control and needed very little direction. Would definitely use again.

Booked multiple times, highly recommend

We’ve used this company now for the second time after having used them back in 2020 within London. We were impressed with their professionalism last time but because this one was a bigger move (leaving London), we thought it would be on the more expensive end. To our surprise the price was extremely competitive, so the choice was an easy one. Just like last time, the team handled everything with upmost care and the move was done swiftly. This will be our moving company going forward. Highly recommend!

As least stressful as it could have been!

I cannot recommend this company enough. They carried out two removals for me this summer, for my mother and for myself, and both went perfectly. Excellent staff and such care in the packing, including old antiques. It was such a relief when they turned up on time on the day and from then on the moves went like a well oiled machine. Nick Claire and Stuart at the office were excellent communicators. Thankyou C & C, even down to the very useful flyer!

Fantastic service from start to finish

I highly recommend Cavendish & Country. We had a very short and stressful window to arrange removals at an incredibly busy time of year (end of August). We contacted a huge number of removal firms and Cavendish & Country were the only company who did an on-site survey, rather than us sending pictures or a video survey. Not only did this allow us to put our trust in them, but they also provided us a much more accurate (and better value)quote than other companies. Damian was really helpful throughout the process and always on hand to answer questions.

The moving team Cristian, Krisztian, Omed and Conrad were incredible and everything arrived in amazing condition and not a single breakage.

They made what should have been a very stressful period incredibly relaxed and enjoyable.

Pack and move service

The team at Cavendish and Country were incredible. A team of three came to pack up our house in one day, carefully packaging everything so that damage didn’t occur. On the move day three others came to move everything from our house to the new house. They worked tirelessly, taking things apart and putting them back together at the other end. Best money we spent on the whole move!

Thorough- On Time- Efficient-Polite & Accommodating!

I have huge praise for the office team/moving team with C&C. They assessed, quoted, went through the process clearly and did everything on time, in quoted price at the time they said they would. All of the team were really nice, friendly and considerate & our belongings were carefully packed and moved to our new property. I never want to move again but if I did I wouldn't use anyone else!
