Simply the best! This is my second time using Giant Removals -- this time they helped me and my fiancee move into our new place in London. As before, they showed up on time, with the proper gear, and they worked with lightning speed. The team communicated clearly, and adjusted quickly to a couple of last-minute things that we needed to pack. I'm still amazed at how quickly work and the speed which they were able to load and unload the truck. These are the guys that I will go to for all my future moves.

I had Giant removals do a move for me yesterday in London, and they are amazing hard workers. They worked quickly, efficiently and optimized use of the space in their truck! They unloaded and reassembled what they disassembled in seconds! ***Sadly, my husband disassembled our baby crib before they got there and the only thing to go missing in the move so far are those screws (and that is OUR error, not them!!!) - I share this to say, LET THEM DO IT FOR YOU!!! They are way better, and quicker at this stuff than any of us! I will use them again for all future moves And recommend them to all friends!

I booked a 2 man team for Sunday 13th June at 5pm. I was informed by [NAME EDIT] over the phone in the morning that he would be coming alone and that I should help instead of the second man. I don't mind admitting I'm not the largest guy and did not trust myself to handle the moving of a large fridge. I called my brother in law [NAME EDIT], who frequents the gym, and asked if he might be able to help. He was only available from 8pm so I called [NAME EDIT] back to rearrange.

I was pleased that [NAME EDIT] had no objection to coming later and, having earlier been slightly put out by the news that I would not get the 2 man team I booked, I even felt reassured by the easy-going attitude of this fine chap.

So, 8 o'clock arrived and with it [NAME EDIT]. No sign of any removals, let alone Giant ones. Never fear, 15 minutes later [NAME EDIT] had arrived! He and Joseph surveyed the job - 35 boxes, 2 bookshelves, a dryer and a fridge, from a first floor flat. [NAME EDIT] decided he would start with the boxes and leave the appliances for later (strange, I thought, as we had brought the fridge to the edge of the stairs in readiness). [NAME EDIT], however, insisted that they start with the fridge. Good thing too as, having attempted for approximately 2 minutes to brute force the thing down the corner of the stairs and failing quite spectacularly, [NAME EDIT] slid the fridge back up the stairs, snarled that [NAME EDIT] was not trained for removals and, I kid you not, legged it. By the time I realised he was literally leaving and had run out to stop him, he was already pulling away from the kerb and gathering speed.

Apart from the insistence that I should be (or arrange) the second of a 2 man paid removals team, the tardiness, the second-rate insult to my family member and the impressive speed with which [NAME EDIT] fled, I was quite pleased with the service. I can certainly recommend the company if you want a fascinating story to tell; not so much, though, if you just want your goods moved.

In case you haven't noticed, I don't think his name is [NAME EDIT].

NOTE: this is a re-post. I was made aware by the company that the original post had shown (as a 3-digit service cost must be entered, I put the original quoted price) that the service had cost £180. This is to clarify that I was not charged anything (despite what it may say below) as payment was supposed to be upon completion of the job. I was, however, exceedingly inconvenienced.

It was first time we had to move from Croydon to Dartford.
My friend from work recommended Giant Removals which he found on removalsreviews website.
After going to Giantremovals.co.uk website we were able to calculate roughly our 2 bed removal cost.
After initial call we booked them.
Their home removal quote was wery competitive comparing to other removal companies we checked before.
We went for 2 3,5tonnes truck and 3 men removal team.
Packing materials including bubble wrapp and double wall boxes were delivered as promised 1 week before move.
Removal team arrived 15 minutes early and friendly introduced themself to my family.
Our precious mirrors and tv were protected with sancell .
Sam and his team did not waste a time and quickly started protecting our expensive furniture .
We could not get our 3 door wardrobe through door so taking apart was a must.
We liked the fact that our leather sofa was covered with speciall covers as well as our expensive 3 seater sofa.
When we arrived at Dartford team unloaded furniture first after all boxes went to designaded rooms.
Our ikea 3 door wardrobe was assembled within quick period of time which was wery important for my wife.
Giant Removals team appears to be trustworthy removal company which I can recommend to anyone who is looking for reliable movers in that stressfull day .

I do not usually have time to do reviews but Giant Removals deserve great review.
2 men team arrived 30 minutes early and found suitable place to park 3,5 Luton van.
I like fact that my two 42 inches plasma tv were put in hard case tv covers,my mirrors were protected with blankets without me spending a time to buy bubble wrap and protect it all around.
Two beds were dismantled and assembled at designated area.
We have managed to take about 30 boxes , 2 sofas , leather armchair and all protected with quilted sofa covers which was helpfull.

I contacted Sam and he was perfect. He gave me all the information I needed. We have a lot of fragile and glass items. I needed and a quote which ended up perfect with no add-ons. The crew arrived on time and worked steadily throughout the loading. . Sam even stopped by on the day of the loading to introduce himself and check on the progress. They were fun and helpful. The van was packed perfectly and they even saved extra space. Everything arrived in in good condition. We cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Great guys, great movers and packers and fun to deal with.

I can't thank Sam enough!! The removal company I had booked didn't show up!

Luckily, Sam was available and he was at my apartment an hour after I called him. He was the absolute best! He made the move so easy and accommodated several stops in between to hand off keys of my old apartment, take coffee/rest breaks in between London to Manchester, collect keys for my new apartment, etc.

Sam and I had great chats that also made the 4-hour journey seem so short. He was so professional and super humble and nice. I can't recommend Sam enough!! He is the Best!

I want to Thank Giant Removals team for the outstanding service that you guys have provided for my 1bed apartment move from Brighton to Camden Town.I am a single mother and moving is a stressful  event but you guys made it so much easier. I was looking for an affordable and trustworthy moving company and had another removals company cancel on me at the last minute, which was annoying as I was on a time crunch; Giant Removals came to rescue me. Sam and Fred were very cooperative and understanding of my concerns and made me feel very secure and supported. Giant Removals were easy going, hardworking and very respectful of all my belongings.  Unloading of the truck went very quick and careful.  I had some large pieces of furniture and no freight elevator and they never complained at all.  They ensured every piece of furniture arrived just as it left. We recently moved to another home after living there for over 15 years with two kids. I was fearing the moving day, but these gentlemen made the experience just about pleasing. They were totally incredible. Nothing was too much of trouble for them and they even helped me find my phone when I lost it in the franticness. I can't recommend them enough for moving jobs, affordable price and also good service. Our buyer has chosen to use them when she moves within having heard how great they were. Giant Removals were recommended to us by 2 friends, who had used them previously and this was enough to dispel the fears of trying to find a good removal company can be, the personal recommendation..

They arrived 15 mins early, took a few seconds to assess each room of our flat, and then just got down to it.. Within a couple of hours they had wrapped, sealed, carefully carried an entire flat down 2 flights of stairs and loaded into their van. Tvs were wrapped in protective sheets, drawers wrapped in black sheets to keep closed and protect against scratches.. nothing was too much trouble

However the drive to our new home WAS a nightmare, chaos on the M25 meant they took over 2 hours to get to our new place. However when they finally got there they just buckled down, unloaded everything, putting things into the random rooms we requested (from 1 bed flat to 3 bed house meant it wasn't such an obvious choice for rooms) but again nothing was too much trouble and within a very short period of time they had finished..

They had made our completion day a breeze by removing as much stress from things as they could.. Would heartily recommend them to anyone, for any job.

My husband found better it job in Milton Keyes and relocating our 2 bedroom property was necessary .
We have used Giantremovals.co.uk and were highly satisfied with their removal service .
Giant Removals team took all the stress out of moving day.
Sam and Karol very friendly and answered all questions regarding move.
We have arranged moving services only as we had previous experience in packing our belongings.
We had about 40 large boxes, 20 small boxes and 4 linen boxes for hanging suits.
We liked the fact that disconnecting washing machine and cooker were done by team.
Our ikea pax 3 door wardrobe was taken apart and wrapped up with bubble wrap to prevent scratches.
Pictures, mirrors and heavy glass table were protected with sancell .
Overall we liked their can do attitude and nothing was too much for speedy team.
At the new place our brand new carpet was protected with floor protection foil as requested before booking at no extra charges.
Our new property was located on first floor with no complains at all.
They unloaded our 1 bedroom property within 1hour.
As requested our Ikea pax wardrobe was assembled in our bedroom.
The quote was very competitive and they charged us from arrival at our first location at Hayes to completing assembling beds, and furniture.
Giant Removals charged us once job was completed which was very good as we used them for first time.
Removal company giant removals appears to be trustworthy and reliable and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking who is about to relocate.

We needed removal service from two bedroom house in Croydon and Giant removals was reccomended by a friend.
I needed some boxes delivered earlier for us to pack and giant removals were flexible.  I was able to use instant removal quote on Giantremovals and their prices appeared to be  very competitive and allowed us to predict cost. 1.    Giant Removals is the best moving service provider that I have come across so far. I was tired with a lot of service providers and was looking for a company that don’t have any negative reviews on the Internet. Giant Removals was one of those companies. All the people who have taken their services have experienced a positive service from hauling the boxes to wrapping the furniture. Giant Removals helped me to move a 3 story house that is equipped with 3 bedrooms. I even had a ceramic BBQ and a heavy fridge on the top floor. They were professional enough to take care of my belongings and provide a hassle free service within 24 hours. I also found out that my mattress didn’t fit well with the stairs. They provided an impressive solution to it. They took it over the balcony with the help of a rope. They work on a timely manner as well. They just took one break for lunch and I got to know that it doesn’t include for the hourly rate. I am totally satisfied with the service I got from Giant Removals.

I had a two part move, pickup at a office ,  delivery to two separate areas. The team were on time, well mannered, and pleasant to deal with! The truck was loaded in an arranged order, everything was delivered as talked about, nothing was left be hide, nothing missed. These fellows were so intensive, double checked the office, every delivery site and verified it was how I wanted it. I am so satisfied! I will keep on referring Giant Removals And will use them again soon!
