Sofabed Disposal and Moving.

Excellent service from Alfie and Josh. We had a very old and cumbersome 3 bed sofabed that had to be removed from upstairs and disposed of, and another sofabed moved from downstairs to upstairs. Only one door needed to be removed (which they did and put back on), lots of clever manoeuvering and brilliant communication between the two of them. Very accommodating, helpful, polite and professional. Completed very quickly. Would highly recommend.

Great local removal company.

St Albans Removals are a great local firm, who provided us with a friendly and efficient service. They started work as soon as they arrived, so meant we could move as soon as keys were available. Our belongings were handled with care and there were no damages. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a smaller local firm who can offer a more personal service, and quick to deal with.

Great Service.

I used Alfie and team a couple of weeks back for my move which happen at the start of the covid-19 lockdown and so glad all went ahead. Alfie was the fairest on price and reviews were good. The team were very professional, polite and hard working. I got the big items disassembled and reassembled without any problems and we were done within approx. 4hrs which was great as I only needed one van. I wouldn't hesitate to use St Albans Removals again as it was stress free, quick and they took great care to ensure all items were well pack and supported in the van before transit. thank you again.

Look no further, I highly recommend St Albans Removals. This is the second time I have used Alfie and his team over the past six years. Both removals went as planned. Alfie and his team show up on time and are extremely careful with your items and your property. I could not have been more pleased the first time and was equally pleased when I needed to move six years later. On my latest move, it was important to move in one day, Alfie made sure to bring enough help and two trucks to avoid an extended day. They put in a great day and completed on time. Moving Business

We asked Alfi to move our store contents after closure. Furniture was well protected for both a move and storage. The overall service was excellent, with the team arriving bang on time, pleasant and efficient. A number of items had to be dismantled and rebuilt at the other end; many items were sorted and moved twice to their final location. All done with grace and a smile. I would recommend Alfi and his team for whatever kind of move you need.

Professional Service

We used St Albans Removals when moving house during the lockdown restrictions last summer. Alfie and his team were helpful and reassuring, following all the government's guidance measures, which made the move less stressful. We were keen not to let Covid-19 scupper our moving plans and Alfie and his team showed great commitment with helping us plan and prepare and seeing the move right through to the end. They were careful with our precious furniture and securely covered and wrapped up our crockery and fragile items, carefully loading them into their van. Once at our new place, they continued with the heavy lifting, ensuring furniture was placed exactly where we wanted it. They displayed patience and flexibility when we experienced a delay collecting our house keys from the estate agents by waiting for us at the property, and ensuring we settled in properly. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family.

Exceptional service for short-notice packing, moving and cleaning

St Albans Removals came to the rescue with only a few days notice when the date of our move from Luton to Letchworth was fixed by constraints outside of our control. His team stepped in with Ricky providing a faultless and friendly packing service that had to be seen to be believed, (not a single item damaged), and the rest of the team working hard to first pack and then unload our furniture and belongings (under Alfie's watchful eye). This in itself was impressive, but when we discovered that the house we were moving in to had been left in such a state that we could not take up residence (especially during the Covid pandemic), Alfie and his team came to the rescue again by providing a team, on a Sunday, to clean and disinfect the whole house from top to bottom. Excellent service with a smile - what more could you ask?

Great move + friendly and prepared to go the extra mile!

I’ve used Alfie to move twice in the last year, once just as the first lockdown was starting, and a second time a year later based on the first one thing excellent service provided the first time.

Great team, very friendly, always willing to do extra (which you discover along the way) and very competitive rates. Turned up on time and also provided plenty of interesting conversations and stories to enlighten the stress of a house move!

Helpful hint: when you get quotes from Alfie including a range assume the top price (but it will still be competitive as I had 3 quotes for my last move and Alfie was the most flexible on dates and had competitive prices)

Highly recommended

After being let down at short notice by another company Alfie and his team Ricky, Richie, Mo and Abdul were able to fit us in last minute. I highly recommend St Albans removals, the guys were friendly, took care of our belongings, not a mark or scratch on anything. They made sure everything was protected and loaded safely as well as being very prompt to load and unload. We had to wait a long time for the keys to be released which meant the job finished later than expected; something we had no control of. My only criticism is that we felt a little pressured by Alfie to chase this as he was anxious to leave as soon as possible. I would still definitely recommend St Albans removals, they did a great job!

Very accomodating

Moved from our storage unit to St Albans just before Christmas 2021. Was able to move us with a smaller van with multiple journeys due to narrow street access. They managed to manoeuvre our furniture through some narrow doors, and also managed to reassemble our furniture quickly. Top marks for them for waiting with me at the storage warehouse when my 24 hour access wouldn't work and I had to wait ages for a response from the on call manager! Would highly recommend.

Last minute booking

Alfie and team came to our rescue 10 days before our move which was 5 days before Christmas when our previously arranged company could no longer service that date. The price was within range of other previous quotes we’d had but a bit more than our arranged company. It was for packing too but he did ask us to do some ourselves for the price quoted. The team were efficient and polite and took care of my new carpet at the new house. They put the beds and sofa back together and nothing got broken at all. Alfie likes a cuppa so make sure you’ve got the kettle to hand. I would have no problem recommending this company.

Friendly, efficient and stress free

We managed to book Alfie and his team for a last minute job with just one week’s notice. They moved us from East London to St Albans. Internal house move

Alfie and his team came at relatively short notice to help move my elderly mother into a downstairs bedroom. From start to finish they were very courteous and kind. Three location removals

I thought this job would be tricky as other companies were not keen to take it on but Alfie did not seem fazed at all and gave me a competitive estimate.

He and his team moved items of furniture, including a piano from Coventry to Princes Risborough and different items on to St Albans.

They got there when they said they would, were friendly, polite and respectful and just got on with the job.
