Had to clear old furniture to accommodate replacements. Stupidly left figuring out how to do it 'til the last minute and discovered it was going to be pretty much impossible. Someone recommended Spartan to me and from the moment I rang Sean and spoke to him the service was better than any other I have experienced. Communication was absolutely fantastic taking away any worries I had prior to pick up. Sean arrived exactly when he said he would and completely cleared my flat in minutes (a double bed, 2 sofas and a kitchen table). Despite the speed everything was done with great care and no damage to the property even though the doorways and tight space make it very likely. To top it all Sean is just the nicest, friendliest, most up beat person you could hope to meet. I recommend without reservation. Absolutely fantastic. Wish every other company was as easy to deal with.

Sean and his team couldn't have been more helpful throughout. The initial visit and quote only took a few minutes, and the price was one of the lowest from any of the companies we asked. The actual move went off without a hitch. They kept us informed of their arrival time and the whole thing was done in about three hours  (two bed flat to two bed cottage, circa 9 miles). All of our things arrived in pristine condition and were put in the correct rooms. One of the beds needed disassembling twice after I changed my mind which bedroom it should go in, but no one made a fuss, and Sean just got on with it. Will definitely use them if we need to move again. .

After spending a few days on-line and obtaining quotes for London Removal companies we came slightly unstuck with regards to the many bad reviews of no shows / cancellations / damages and unreliability of companies, we then decided to flip the coin and base our search on companies with the best reviews / levels of service as opposed to cheapest cost option, Spartan Removals came up instantly as having fantastic reviews and service. Though having done our research we were in a situation of having less than a weeks notice for the move, this however did not seem to poise a problem for Sean and his team, noting that another small job was booked in for that morning it was no problem to still be at our property for 10.30am the day of the move. After a few exchanges of calls / emails (namely due to our late organisation) we obtained a quote quickly in which we were very happy with. We were moving our belongings from a one bedroom Maisonette in East London down the Road to Essex, a Luton van was recommended though for a one bedroom place we did have rather a lot of stuff which we completely underestimated when booking the van. The day of the move Sean did a fantastic job though we had still has a few pieces to pack up that morning, he work quickly and effectively around us having any additional pieces (boxes / tape / blankets) that were required to secure our larger delicate objects. Every step of the move Sean was respectful / helpful and courteous even offering to put himself out an number of times if we were unable to get all of our belongings in the van or our car (we just about  made it all fit and again namely due to our underestimation of how much we physically had when quoting for). Though hoping not to have to move for a very long time I would highly recommend Spartan Removals and use them again should the need arise for any removals needs as Spartan ticked every box from cost to services provided. Sean also helped make the move as painless as possible by having such a relaxed presence and friendly attitude, this was the less stressful part about our whole buying / selling / packing / relocating  move and we are very greatful for the sevice they offered.

I have used many a removal company over the years, however, I have never recieved the level of customer service from spartan remaovals before. Sean and his team arrived bang on time,  did a quick survey of the property and got strsight to work.  Sean estimated 4-5 hours to complete a 2 bedroom flat move but completed in 3.5 hours..bearing in mind the lift was out of action and they had to face 3 flights of stairs.  Nothing was too much of a problem, the packing and wrapping of items was 1st class.  I would highly reccommend using spartan removals.  They really are spartans! .

We were moving from our 3-bed house to a 2-bed rental flat whilst our house was being renovated.  Sean and Lloyd were fantastic and managed to both pack all our house contents and move within the same day!  The two were doing the job of three people!  And this was even though Sean had a late finish on a job the previous day too!  All in all, very professional, very communicative and very much like their namesake, the Spartans!
We will use them again in hopefully 6 months time when we move back to the house!

I decided to use spartan removals after hearing very good things about them along with the reviews here. The communication was excellent. sean, Lloyd and Clive all turned up at my London address on time and were very professional, polite and with great humour..which made the day enjoyable rather than stressful.  I can not recommend them enough. Nothing damaged or broken witch from past experience I know can happen.  Very proffessional service and would use again without doubt!!

Spartan was one of a handful of companies I contacted, but the only one to consistently reply promptly and clearly. Sean was also prepared to be flexible about the date until quite near the time. On the day, the pick-up time had to be changed through no fault of Spartan's, and I was kept informed of their movements and Clive and Lewis arrived on time at the revised time. They smiled, were polite, cheerful and very efficient. Because I had more stuff than we had all estimated, and in order not to let me down, Sean and Lloyd drove down after finishing a job in Nottingham to complete my move to a storage facility, ending a long and hard day with infectious good humour, and fast, careful work. I will definitely ask them again, when I move my things from storage to a new house. They were splendid.

We decided to use Spartan removals after hearing great things about them via social networking sites .. and the reviews here after being recommended by a good friend. We had the contents of a 2 bed flat in storage ( which as you can imagine is quite a lot! Sean came to assess the situation and suggested 1 large van which I was not sure would all fit. When Sean and the team started to pack the van the precision and speed was incredible. It was like watching a large game of Tetris! Everything that was fragile had been packed very professionally. I've not used a reputable removals firm before and always relied on friends, family or a man and van, but I shall, without doubt, be using them again for our move next year. Highly recommended!

From the first contract with Sean he was friendly and professional, and he turned up bang on time, despite there being a massive accident on the main road out of Richmond (so not sure how he did it). They just got on with the job and never stopped until it was done, and the two of them worked fantastically together.
 
They got things in and out of tight spaces with no fuss at all, and even stopped to point out where because of the squeeze, things had got slightly marked.. they didn't have to do that so it was much appreciated.
 
They were also really flexible when our keys were delayed, and overall I would recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly, fairly priced and professional service that will take the hassle out of moving.

Sean and Michael turned up at the agreed time and were professional and friendly throughout the day. We were amazed that they managed to get all of our things in to the van, it was tight but a great result meaning we didn't need to do another journey.
Our move day went really well and Sean and Michael played a big part in that by staying calm and working efficiently, their sense of humour was also a bonus!
Overall we received excellent service, good value for money and we'd defintely use Spartan again.

I found refernce for Spartan Removals from Removal Reviews. I have had best experience till date. They helped me move 2 bed property in London. They moved my stuff from 8th floor and after a round the lift, it broke and stopped working. The reaction from these guys was exceptional, Sean and Michael took stuff down using the stairs untill the lift came back after 2-3 hrs. We decided for an extra minimal amount for this service but I have seen people leaving you stranded in these situations, with Sean that did not happen.  On time, exceptional service, honest people with a smile on face. Excactly what I needed. Highly recommended.

I had a small job to do moving stuff between two properties in both directions but was not sure of the date. A friend recommended Sean at Spartan Removals, so I called him and immediately sensed that I was speaking to a reliable, competent person. I indicated a two-week period but could not be specific at that stage.
I eventually booked the job at two days' notice. Sean had two prior bookings for that day but was able to fit my job in at 8am.  When circumstances changed the following day I first cancelled, then reinstated the job. None of this was a problem for Sean. He responded promptly at every stage and replied to every email I sent him.
On the day, Sean and Michael arrived on time in a pristine van and their appearance and demeanour inspired complete confidence. They were intelligent, impeccably polite, pleasant and good-humoured. The job was done quickly and efficiently with great care and the cost was very reasonable.
Everything went smoothly on this occasion, but I somehow knew that if a problem did arise. they would deal with it. Next time I need a removal service I will call Spartan Removals first.

I hired Spartan for a move in East London, choosing two men and a large van, and was very satisfied. They worked hard, secured the fragile items well for the journey and gave good communication before arriving and during the move. They even navigated the lift system at the new place with speed and enthusiasm. Very pleased! Their prices per hour were reasonable, and they were willing to charge accurately instead of rounding up. Made a stressful move much easier, would definitely recommend.

After a recommendation from my hairdresser, I booked Sean @ Spartan Removals when I moved flat last week to Twickenham. Sean was very easy to deal with in the run up to the move and on the day of the move itself both Sean and Michael turned up early, packed up quickly and securely and unloaded in a professional, considerate manner.  The whole process of moving was very stressful apart from the actual physical move and that was all to do with Sean and Michael.  I would highly recommend them.  Thank you both again!!

I'm not one to leave reviews but on this occasion it feels most appropriate. I searched high and low for a proffessional, honest removals company and then found spartan removals. From the initial phonecall Sean was most polite and very professional.  We had to move from our 8th floor apartment to a 3 bed house based in south west london along with the packing. The lift unfortunately was out of order meaning the poor guys would have to carry everything by hand down 8 flights of stairs. They where not phased by this and carried out the job!  The he job only took 8 hours which was beyond our expection given the lift was out of service.  I can't recommend them highly enough.  The quotes we received from various other companies were very cheap and from previous experience you get what you pay for. The  Price was very competitive saying that.  Thank you you for making our move stress free and fun! .
