Pers Removals

I was very worried about moving my 1950s Jukebox, but Pers were very professional, friendly and reliable. The booking process was equally quick and easy over the telephone and confirmation via Email. On the day, the guys called and turned up when they said they would. They are fully aware that they handle owner's precious items and immediately put me at ease. The relocation of our Jukebox, which is cumbersome, heavy and fragile, went very smoothly. It was a pleasure dealing with Pers! I warmly recommend them for large and heavy items and I would definitely use them again.

We used Pers to move everything from a four bedroom house in London to another one. They packed up everything for us. They were always on time, and packed up the whole house amazingly quickly, particularly given how carefully they wrapped everything. The move went very smoothly at the other end too and all furniture was re-assembled. The staff were all courteous, polite and worked very hard. The owner of the company is extremely helpful and I was actually very surprised at how good the service was because it is very rare to find. The whole attitude was one of what they could do to help.

I was moving from a 3 bed modern apartment with lift to a 2 bed Victorian maisonette on 1st and 2nd floors only 5 minutes away. the van was a 7.5 ton van with 5 men. I had packed everything myself except large mirrors, pictures, large TV etc. In addition to boxes I had hired 50 SC2 crates mainly to carry books,

They worked steadily and broke down a large bed and wardrobes. At the other end the narrow stairs, dog-legs, and entrance were quite a callenge and the entrance door had to come off. Carpets were protected. Bookcases had to be broken down and re-assembled. everything was done well and with good humour despite the 50 crates of heavy books having to be carried up narrow stairs tothe 1st floor. They worked all day with a lunch break and finished at about 5pm. Nothing was damaged and no damage to walls etc. An excellent job!

Have just used Pers to move from Hampstead to the Cotswolds .The job was not without its problems including have to take some furniture out and over the roof ! I thought they were excellent throughout. I suspect you would have to go a long way before you could find such a team of polite hard-working guys. There are punctual, efficient and speedy workers
They certainly took the stress out of the task and I would not hesitate in recommending them

Pers was the first firm to contact us about our house move, sending a comprehensive leaflet with their services and hints and tips for packing. When contacted they were professional and friendly, and arranged to send someone round to give us a quote. He arrived on time and the quote quickly followed by email. Everything was clearly set out. Packing materials arrived as promised and on the day the team were exceptional. Strong, professional and with a great sense of humour. I have told all my friends about the service and would highly recommend your firm to everyone.

Pers Removals were recommended to me by a friend. Initially I only booked the removal team, not the packing service, but thankfully changed my mind when I realised how much there was to do! The guy who did my packing was unbelievably quick and efficient. All done in one day by 3pm, he was careful not to pack anything I'd left aside and barely asked me a single question. The rest of the team were equally fast, organised and friendly. It made the whole day twenty times less stressful and I have already recommended Pers to my sister.

Everything that Pers touched ran smoothly- from the initial quote visit to the packers and then the moving. The men were professional, courteous at all times, good natured and quick. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Even the company themselves will say that they are not the cheapest but then you do get what you pay for. I am glad that we did not go with cheaper quotes as there are so many horror stories.

They say moving house is one of the most stressful things you can do, however I can honestly say that Pers really helped remove most of that stress.

I arranged a removal from my flat into storage with Pers Removals. The move went well enough and my belongings went into a storage facility in North London. As it happens, Pers rent their storage from a third party company called Edwards. After 6 months, Pers gave me 4 weeks notice that my storage cost was to go up by 35 percent. When I queried this I was told it was because their costs had gone up. Unfortunately it was too expensive for me and significantly out of line with other equivalent storage facilities in North London. Consequently I had to give Pers 4 weeks notice by return.
I then contacted Edwards storage directly who quoted less than I was currently paying Pers storage - so much for Pers increased costs story. A couple of days later I phoned Edwards to confirm the storage transfer, but they said Pers had been in touch and that they were withdrawing their offer of storage. I then contacted Pers, but they denied all knowledge of any conversation with Edwards. Fortunately I managed to find another professional storage facility who were also cheaper than I was currently paying Pers and I had my belongings moved there. This is the sort of hassle you can do without. I would not recommend doing business with a company which operates like this. I would not recommend storing anything with Pers. Removals.

The initial contact with Pers was prompted by the unsolicited receipt of their well produced useful brochure. Customer service over the telephone was polite and helpful, and was patient and accommodating with the changes of our legal Completion Date.
Although our move was from one three-bedroom house to another, two visits were required to assess the volume of our books and various recordings, in addition to the usual property content. The removal costs also included packing and carpet protection in both properties; more than adequate boxes and packing material were provided over the two days of the removal. The removal employees were always polite,professional, co-operative and worked hard.
The packing was mostly very thorough; but unfortunately two ornaments of great sentimental value were damaged owing to poor packing. This reduced our overall rating to Good.
