MGR Removals

Really genuinely brilliant.

I've used MGR twice in the last year and both times they have gone above and beyond. Their packing service really takes the stress out of moving house and for my most recent move they unpacked too. They reassemble furniture in the room you want it and nothing is too much trouble. This year we were held up by the previous residents of our new house but they were happy to wait and were there until just after 10pm to make sure everything was how we wanted it.

I got five quotes and theirs was the most competitive, but you wouldn't know it for their service - I would always recommend them over and above any other service in London.

MGR tried to increase the price by almost one third only 36hrs before the job was due to take place.  They claimed their own office manager had incorrectly quoted for the job.  They stated they could do it for the original price on a different day and time which was not convenient to me (the customer). I tried to reason with them but they failed to understand that it is highly unprofessional and stressful to the customer if they try and increase a previously agreed price.  Fortunately, the industry is competitive so managed to secure another removal company for the day and date convenient to me. Hope you have better luck if you decide to use MGR.

The whole team was efficient, professional and very courteous throughout. Not a single item was broken or chipped. Their quotation was very competitive. It was a long drive and they constantly kept me informed of their progress. When they arrived they proceeded to unload immediately and before they left made sure there was nothing else they could help me with. Peter managed the admin and Michael managed the move. I highly recommend MGR Removals and would certainly use them again without question.

MGR Removals were life savers for us. We had a week's notice to our Completion date and nothing organised. MGR had the availability, quickly provided a quote, provided boxes and a packing service, and were brilliant when it came to moving day. All levels of the business we dealt with were friendly and efficient, but a special mention to the removal team on the day. They did an amazing job, instantly put my mind to ease with their experience and expertise. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking to move.

Really good value- cheapest quote but service was still really good.   Lads that were working were rerally nice and just got on with the job. They made the move sooo easy and stressless for me. Evelyn who took all my cools was really nice as well and my dates kept changing and they were fully flexible with all the changes that I made with them.
I would definately recommend this company and my stuff is currently in storage and although it is about 60 miles from MGR's base I still might use them as they were so good.

We recently moved within London and used Mgr Removals. The service was great and hassle-free. The movers were hands-on and really friendly. All our belongings including furniture were moved very professionally and there was no damage whatsoever. They even went a few stairs further than agreed and brought in a second team because the move took longer than expected. Mgr removals is very competetively priced as well compared to other quotes we had and there were no additional charges for extra time or effort. Would without hesitation recommend Mgr Removals to anybody looking for a great moving experience!!

I have dreaded the moving day and the stress it brings, but these guys absolutely gave it all to make my life much easier. And successfully so! 
The removal was organised on quite a short notice, too, but MGR were very flexible even when I changed the date to a day earlier.
On the day, they arrived on time - no fuss, no stress, they were there to do a job with a smile on their faces. Very reassuring. What I thought would last for at least four/five hours finished within a three-hour window, which is a bonus. Needless to say, nothing got smashed or went missing in the process.
If you want a stress-free move, MGR will definitely deliver. Highly recommended!

MGR Removals were outstanding from start to finish. like many, I looked around, but if you are trying to decide who to use, use MGR. They were prompt, courteous and professional throughout. Nothing was too much trouble, we asked for an additional pick up and the initial packing took longer than expected, neither were charged extra. Moving can be stressful and emotional, but MGR actually made it fairly enjoyable. Thanks to Michal and the team, a really brilliant company.

Moving home can be a very stressful time, however mgr were brilliant at alleviating all stresses. I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism of all three workmen who came to help pack, load, deliver and unpack our goods. Matthew, Joel and Lucas did a fantastic job. My husband and I felt so comfortable in fact that it was even suggested we pop out for a coffee. We wouldn't have done this had we not felt we could trust the team. The move was prompt and they made it look effortless. I cannot thank them enough for such a stress free experience. I would definitely recommend MGR to anyone planning to move house.

The contents of my house needed to be split between storage and transfer to Exeter so it wasn't a straightforward move and I was delighted how MGR handled everything. The team were very friendly but professional and efficient and I was very happy with how everything went. They packed and took the storage items day 1 and the next day completed the packing and loading, drove to Exeter and unloaded without any problems remaining cheerful throughout despite the long day. I would thoroughly recommend them.

I am very pleased with the service that MGR provided. I spoken to them several times before the move date and they answered all my questions. The men who arrived on the day were polite, professional and friendly. They did an excellent job of moving items from a second-floor flat into a van and then to another property nearby. They were skilled at dismantling large pieces of furniture (including a double bed and a wide sofa) and loading them into their van. They also packed various unboxed items that had been forgotten. They worked very hard for around six hours and took very few breaks.

We have just moved house and We used MGr for our move. They did an amazing job. They worked no stop to move all our stuff and they found quick solutions to very complicated problems. For example they dismantled our door (and put it back together afterwards!) when the sofa would not go through it. I was very stressed about moving and at every single step of the job they have been very calm and reassuring. I strongly recommend them and I think, for all the work they did, they are very reasonably priced. A big thank you to all the team, you have been great! And a thank you from my son Alex who really liked the teddy bear..

I and my family have used this service three times now with complete satisfaction. The staff are courteous, reliable, efficient and considerate. I would certainly use them again and have recommended them to a neighbour. This last removal consisted of a furniture collection at one address, then to be distributed at three different addresses all in London, it was complicated to say the least. The job was completed, after a lot of hard and heavy work, with a satisfied customer and the boys were still smiling, well done!
