Like most people I am demanding and believe in value for money – Northstar Removals must be good or I wouldn’t take the time to write this review! This was our third time of using Northstar for removals; repeat business because they are absolutely excellent. All the crew were very friendly, punctual (actually early!), exceptionally helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We opted for the packing service and everything was carefully wrapped and remained intact for the journey. It's important to be able to trust the people who come into your home and handle your possessions and we were always 100% comfortable with these guys doing their job. Highly recommended company and lovely, decent workers. Thank you so much!

Very thankful for the great job done by Northstar!
Northstar have an excellent team of professionals, who have worked really hard all day long, staying positive and friendly. The job has been done very carefully, saving us from stress, which is hard to avoid during a relocation. We have moved from the large 4 bedroom house full of furniture and stuff, however, guys have managed to move everything in very short time but very accurately, not damaging any of the furniture or the house itself!

From the initial survey with Denis at my home in North London, through my move to Lewes, and as a storage client, I have received complete professionalism from Northstar Removals. My complex requirements and large volume, with 10 containers to storage and 10 to the new property, were met and carried out smoothly accurately by a competent removal team with a sense of humour.

My move included several large plants and trees which were handled carefully and arrived undamaged.

Despite complications with my new property everything was eventually resolved by Denis who remained flexible and accommodating throughout. I am currently a storage client and am confident that all my belongings are safe and secure in London. When my property is finally fully renovated I am confident they will arrive in Lewes in the same condition as when they left my old house.

I have used Northstar for two major moves now and I have also recommended them to family members who have used them too. I have always found them to be fantastic and I have no hesitation in recommending them. They are also competitively priced and good value too. All of the guys who did our recent move (five them) were great and couldn’t have been more helpful. They worked non-stop and completed the job in a very professional manner. I was very satisfied with everything they did and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

From the moment we asked for a quote through to the move day itself, we were provided with excellent customer service, and in these uncertain times (COVID) felt reassured that we would be looked after during our moving process.

On the day, the team turned up on time, the supervisor went through the move with us, and moving out went smoothly and we were out in plenty of time of the deadline. Our new keys were delayed until 3pm, but the team reassured us this was not a problem and they were happy to wait. When we got in they built all our furniture for us, and helped us putting our items in the rooms we wanted them without feeling rushed.

Northstar Removals helped move my elderly Mother on Friday. Unfortunately, we experienced delays on the day of completion with our buyers solicitors which we didn't envisage happening. However, the Northstar Team made the whole ordeal a lot easier especially once we got the keys the other end. The removals team continued to work into the evening to ensure my Mum was unpacked and settled the other end.

In regards to the initial quote/visit to estimate, Greg was very friendly, professional and again put my Mum at ease about the process. The quote was competitive and all costs were highlighted from the outset.

Communication on the whole was excellent and we were able to email or telephone Northstar with any queries we had before and during the move.

This is the third time I have used Northstar and I have always found them to be professional, efficient and friendly. On this occasion I was transferring a piano and a large number of very heavy book boxes between storage units.

The quotation, planning and admin process was speedy and efficient. On the day the removals team were hard-working and courteous and they carried out the move quickly, carefully and thoughtfully. Northstar fully deserve their excellent reputation and I will certainly use them again for any future moves.

Our move with Northstar was absolutely brilliant. The service, starting with the initial in-person consultation, was extremely professional, and whilst they may not be the cheapest, I felt as though we were in a safe pair of hands - and the entire process was seamless. The team were wonderful, friendly and clearly worked together often. We have moved several times, internationally and locally, and this is by far our best experience. Would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend!

What a fantastic service from Northstar! We had to make a number of changes post the on-site estimate process due to changes in our onward move, but these were managed both expertly and efficiently. On the removal day(s) nothing was too much trouble, the team were very friendly, courteous, professional and fully on-board with our wants and needs. Very prompt, efficient, and speedy, I was very comfortable with the care and attention they gave our possessions. I would highly recommend Northstar and would certainly look to use them again if I ever needed to move.
