I chose Intercity removals after browsing reviews. And I must say they deserve their good reputation. Everything went well from the first contact to the end of our removal. They were right about the size and the number of cupboards. They even accepted to reuse some of a previous removal 6 months earlier. They assign as many men as necessary : 3 for packing, 4 for the removal day. All were on time, very efficient and very polite. No particuliar stress for that day, they are very efficient. And professional : a particuliar care to dismantle and reassembly furnitures, to protect floors, to comply with our requests. I would highly recommend them to my friends or call them again in the future.

Intercity recently moved us to our new house in Newport. They provided a comprehensive quotation, which was very competitive. Following this, they were flexible and understanding as the conveyancing chopped and changed completion dates - always available to discuss availability. They arrived pre-moving day to partially pack us and were careful, quick and professional. On the day of the move they arrived on-time, quickly loaded and awaited keys to start the moving in. All seemed effortless and nothing was too much trouble. After every van unloaded I was asked to inspect to ensure nothing was left behind, furniture was re-assembled carefully and correctly.

I'd hands-down recommend Intercity Removals to anyone looking for a smooth stress-free (as much as moving can be) moving experience. Excellent value for money and very polite, friendly and hard working staff.

Over the moon! From the first email the team were extremely efficient and fast with responses. They even changed my move date at extremely short notice. Literally came out to me within 2 hours of my phone call! George and Adrian were very polite and took good care of my furniture. They also dismantled my bed and put it together again. Also had 20 free boxes delivered to my door a few weeks before the move. I definitely recommend Intercity Removals. Punctual, friendly, polite, efficient and professional. They won't let you down.

We used Intercity Removals for a move from Bristol to Pembrokeshire, with pack up and unloading spread over 2-days - a great recommendation from the Intercity team.

The team; Florin, Robert and Adrian were hard-working, (very strong!), and very accommodating with delays our end in securing the keys to enter the property. We appreciated their efficiency, tidiness and helpfulness (they reassembled beds for us at the end of a long day). I would highly recommend Intercity Removals - a great experience from start to finish.

Do not recommend, there are lots of more reliable and affordable removal companies available.

Firstly I was told the charge would be so high because they absolutely had to have 3 men do the move. However only 2 turned up with no knowledge that there was meant to be 3.

Then my washing machine was broken during the move process as it was working fine before the move but after the drum no longer turned. It took multiple phone calls and 2 days for anyone to get back to me to say they can do nothing about the broken appliance. But they sure didn’t take 2 days to phone me and get payment for the move itself.

Overall the 2 removal men were very good and worked hard considering there was apparently no way only 2 men could do the job, but the company is expensive and just there for the profit with poor customer support should something go wrong. I will not be using them the next time I move.

I can’t recommend Intercity Removals highly enough. I used them for my move from Cardiff in October and they were brilliant. Catalin & Ciprian not only arrived early, they were exceptionally helpful and thorough, nothing was too much trouble and they had such a great attitude. They were so careful with everything. The office really kept in touch with us throughout the process too. Moving is stressful but I can honestly say that Catalin and Ciprian did their very best to remove that stress.

I was greatly impressed by your removal team, the speed and efficiency with which they worked, and also the great care they took to wrap and protect our precious framed pictures and antique items. Very congenial and good natured people. In a very few hours they had packed all the stuff, transported it a hundred and fifty odd miles, thoughtfully fitted it into the new house and gone on their way, leaving us happy to have known them.

The team we dealt with on the phoneintehoffice were fabulous too - polite, friendly, really expert and they gave us a great deal of confidence at what was a very stressful time.

Edi & Alex were absolutely fantastic in moving me from Wales to Scotland over two days. They were very quick and efficient at packing up the van and unloading ... done in an hour both times. And very professional every step of the way. And they went beyond the call of duty to get my 3 -seater sofa out of my old house AND into the new flat without having to take the doors off (unlike the movers who moved me into my old place) ... particularly with taking it apart and putting it back together to get through the too-narrow doorway to the new lounge (I was prepared to leave it behind and/or taken to the local dump in Scotland). Intercity's customer service was fantastic from my initial enquiry through the booking and subsequent follow-ups. Everyone at Intercity made what was a really stressful situation for me a lot less problematic. I highly recommend them. If they ever branch out to Scotland, I would happily use them again for my next move.

We glad we found InterCity Removals. They provided excellent service from start to finish. We had Ciprian on the video call to do the survey and he gave us an honest opinion which allow us to do more research and comparison with other movers. Support from Grace in the office was also great. On the moving day, Nick & Florin provided with outstanding experience from loading, dismantling to the delivery at the new home. They are super fast, efficient and friendly which make the whole day smooth & stress free. We can't recommend them and the company enough. We used InterCity to pack and move us. The initial video call to get a quote was very well done. The packers were so efficient and did the whole place in less than three hours! On moving day itself, they were brilliant. We felt so relaxed as they just loaded everything up and made the day really easy for us. When unpacking, we realised that they had packed all our things really safely and everything was in perfect condition.

Our packers and movers (Nick, Catalin and Vio) were all really friendly guys and worked really hard throughout the day. The office staff replied to emails really quickly and were helpful and friendly.

Overall, really pleased we chose InterCity and would highly recommend them!

Our move was from South Wales to Devon, so around 100miles. The removals men arrived very promptly on the day of the move and got to work straight away. Although we arrived in Devon around mid day we were unable to pick up our keys until later in the afternoon. It was reassuring knowing our belongings were being kept safe and secure. They were very efficient, professional and skilled in their field. We had some tricky areas of the New house to navigate with large pieces of furniture, but they made it work and put everything where it needed to be. Thank you o much for making our house move feel like a breeze!!

Intercity had good reviews so I rang them up and they did a quote on camera in may. All was going well, very, very friendly. I paid the full amount plus enough money for storage. We bought a house at the end of june, we notified them that we would be wanting the furniture as soon as possible please. All good, all friendly. After a few weeks we had a call to say they would be loading up onto a van the next day.

They said then it was all loaded and which day it would be arriving, which would be on the Wednesday, Tuesday evening I had a phone call to say there was a problem, we need to pay another £500.00. It turns out they had under estimated the amount we had there to fetch out. If that is the case why they not say so when they took it and put it into storage. By now it was already in Portugal, with another firm that had picked it up from the uk, they were called GO PANDA. We told intercity they can't charge us more after all this time and it was their fault they hadn't charged us what they now said it should have cost. She said that yes it was their own fault but would stop delivery if we didn't pay... no way was I going to pay anymore.... I had a phone call from a man, his name is DAVID DAVIES who works in partnership with GO PANDA. Between them they sorted it out, but intercity took the money from them to pay for their mistakes. KEEP WELL AWAY FROM INTERCITY..... GET IN TOUCH WITH GO PANDA. I REALLY CAN'T THANK THEM ENOUGH... BRILLIANT COMPANY, AND THANK YOU DAVID DAVIES... DISGRACEFUL BEHAVIOUR FROM INTERCITY

These weren’t the cheapest removal company for us, but we decided to go with intercity as they was brilliant on the phone even when I was asking lots of questions, everything was very smooth right from the survey to see what we had and what to move right through to moving day, they worked quickly and carefully and I have to say not ONE thing broken! Even though I was expecting something to (from previous moves) the movers were friendly and made me feel at ease. A massive 10/10 from me! Thanks so much!

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish, Intercity really took the stress out of moving. From the staff in the office to the crew on the day, everyone I dealt with was really helpful and friendly. The move itself was handled expertly. The guys did a fantastic job and really took care of all my stuff. I have antique furniture including an 18th century grandfather clock which they took care of expertly. I cannot recommend Intercity Removals more highly. Extremely good value given the level of service and their professionalism.
