My fiancé and I moved from London to Stafford on 22/7/2013. We got several quotes from some major companies and Giant Removals was one of the cheapest. Although Giant Removals charge by the hour, an all-inclusive price (packing materials, packing and removal) was given on request. Sam and Peter came to drop off the packing materials a few days prior and were fantastic on the day! We were very impressed by how hard and fast they work, yet gentle with the furniture. The furniture were packed professionally, and delivered to the respective rooms at our new house. Despite being one of the hottest days of the year, they were impressively efficient, reliable and completed the move by the end of the day as scheduled. They were also polite, professional and very courteous! I received the receipt of payment the next day by email. All in all, we were very happy with Giant Removals and would recommend them to anyone! Thanks Sam and Peter! You guys are brilliant!

We moved lots of things between two flats in London and chose Giant Removals. We obtained packing material up front and on the day two men took care of wrapping final items which we hadn't wrapped (furniture, etc., anything delicate) and carried them down 4 floors in the building (in part with lift) and up 2 floors in the new property (without lift). Despite the physical demand of this they remained extremely efficient, professional, very very polite and respectful, they took very good care of all items (not a single one broke) and had a fantastic attitude towards this work. The price was extremely good and very fair.
We can recommend them to the highest degree and will definitely choose them again for our next move. .

It's such a relief to have reliable and considerate movers like Giant around stressful moving times. Sam and his teamwere great. They will notify you, if there are any delays and are very accommodating. The moving business is quite rough and mistakes do happen from time to time due to external factors, such as traffic, weather, lift usage, etc. They somehow manage to work around it all and keep a positive attitude no matter how hard the task is. For example, they once had somehow missed delivering a package to a customer. Then the next day, they went about 30km out of their way to go back and return the box to the rightful owner at no charge. Now that’s a good mover! If anything fails, you can be assured that Giant will take care of it for you. Their prices are reasonable and you can trust them with your expensive works or art, glass and designer furniture too. If there was a 6thstar, I would give it to them. Their honesty is their best resource.

It is nice when you encounter a highly honest and ethical business in any field and even more so when one is entrusted with handling your personal belongings during a house move. We have nothing but admiration for the hard work put in by Giant Removals during an epic 5 hour relocation from South London to Ealing. We had collected more junk than the average family but preferred to keep it with us during the relocation. Thank you for your understanding, Giant Removals.

 I have booked directly through their website after searches on removals reviews. I hired GiantRemovals.co.uk because their price was good, and based on their good reputation, I knew my stuff would be safe hands. The communication with the company and the movers were prompt and clear. Giant Removals knew how to handle my move they took care of my belongings like they were there own then wrapped everything and moved with no damage. Definitely would recommend GiantRemovals, very impressed with service.

Giant removals were absolutely brilliant. They moved us from London to Torquay at an unbelievable price. Sometimes when you think the price is so low, there must be a catch, but there wasn't. Everyone seems to have a good word to say about Sam and his removal business and we can only say the same too.
Giant removals took care of everything, they were courteous and very caring and super quick, despite the awkwardness of all the stairs and tight situations they were presented with. 
I would recommend Giant removals because you won't get a better service or a better price anywhere else and Sam is a really kind and extremely caring person, which helps when you are stressed with moving.

I had to be into my new flat on May 1st. Sam arrived promptly at 7 with two other men to help him pack and load up my things. They worked well as a team and all I had to do was stay out of their way! They had the truck loaded and on it's way before  noon, and I spent the night in my new flat as planned.
Hiring Giant Removals was probably the smartest decision that we made for the entire moving process!
They made moving quick and painless and I really appreciate all their hard work!

I just want to thank Sam and his co workers for making my  move to my new home such an organised experience. Sam could not have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble to help me..no matter what the problem was.  They were punctual and very polite, all storage and packing was delivered before the move and Sam came up to dismantle my furniture before the move day, to ensure all went smoothly. Even when my lift broke duing the move, they carried my boxes down flights of stairs and then they returned later in the day to collect my furniture ( when the lift worked again) as my possessions were stuck inside!!There was a very tight turn around for my move as it involved 3 other families, so organised time keeping was essential. Sam and his team were very reliable. For all the hard work Sam and his collegue did, I could not believe how reasonable the price was. They dismantled, moved and reassembled so much furniture, and as I am on my own, that kind of help was very much appreciated!! Nothing was damaged or broken..they took great care of all my belongings. They were even able to move a very old  piano. They worked all day without barely taking a break even when I asked them to! I would really recommend this removals company, because I recieved a great service, they were friendly and polite, and it was very good value for money. Danny.

The team that was sent to me were very friendly, professional, and communicational. Also good price, excellent job Overall 9/10. they have done a very good job.
I liked the fact all fragile items were protected with bubble wrap 
and sancell.
Each box and piece of furniture were put in the place where we told them.
The boxes were very strong and we got them much cheaper than from safestore.
I am very happy with the service I received from Giant Removals and there were no hidden charges.
Giant Removals team worked really hard without stopping.

Moved contents of a 1 bed flat to new location within the quoted time of 4 hours. Promptly on time (in fact slightly early) and got straight to work. Very friendly and helpful, they also dismantled the sofa so it wouldn't get damaged. All coverings were provided and TV and glass cabinets covered in bubble wrap type material to prevent damage. All items delivered undamaged to new location and then placed in correct rooms etc. I would not hesitate in recommending Giant Removals to other people and I would certainly use them again in the future.

We did a house move 2 weeks ago with Giant Removals. Initially we were given a quote by another company, who however, decided to change the price (to make it worhtwhile spending their Suanday working..) just 4 days before the move. We called Giant Removals and they were able to book our move with just 4 days notice on Sunday morning - no problem. The price was very competitive too. We needed a large van with two men. Initially we were offered a standard Luton van but a day later we we received a call whereby Sam, the owner, offered a larger van with no extra cost to better accomodate our needs, something was a very good gesture on his part. The two men arrived on time (actually 20' early) and loaded the van with all our stuff, at all times working very hard to ensure a quick move. When we arrived to our destination everything was unloaded to the specified rooms upstairs and downstairs and our move was completed exactly on time. Both men were friendly, polite and professional at all times, trying to accomodate all our needs. As during my last 15 years in London I had to move several times, I have had quite a few bad (or at least not very good experiences) with removers: some were lazy, some were late and some changed the quoted price after the move.. All in all, in many cases moving was quite stressful. With this company we had a smooth move without any problems, at a very good price too. I would recommend Giant Removals to everyone who wants a stress-free removal and I will definitely use them again in the future.

After calling 3 moving companies and leaving messages that were never returned, I had an instant quote with Giant Removals within minutes. After I entered few simple details online removals quote was calculated. I decided to use Giant Removals because the price was attractive too.
Booking the service online was uncomplicated as was the move itself. I'd be willing to say that they don't have any real competition, since the competition can't even pick up the phone when it rings!
GR packing service is AWESOME!! I just can't tell you how pleased I am with how movers packed up my things for me; I never could have done as good a job even if I had taken a week. I ordered Bronze package first for my kitchen things, but I upgraded it to the Gold package when I saw what an awesome job you did day before!
On moving day Truck arrived on time, the work was completed by two uniformed movers quickly, everything arrived in one piece. I liked polite workers and an experienced team that made my transition a breeze. I can't believe what a great house removals service you offer at a fantastic bargain!

I used Giant Removals because of previously written reviews and I was not dissapointed. I entered a quote and received a most prompt reply and follow up phone call.I was not in any way pressured, unlike some companies, some didn't even reply. Sam is extremely polite and helpful, I was given a excellent price for 5 hours work.
the team packed all items. Inc 3 huge and heavy iron garden pots at least 3 feet high.
i was called the night before to confirm time, was also sent a text reminder they called on the day 30 mins before arrival to say they are on there way.
they unpacked all items, took all empty boxes away,  even took my rubbish with them.
if your looking for a removal company with pride in there work I can seriously recommend GIANT. Removals .

I was looking to move homes, and finally decided to go ahead with Giant Removals based on their existing reviews. On my initial consultation with them, they seemed to be friendly and were more than willing to explain how their moving process works.
I was moving from a semi-detatched home in London to my newly bought Detatched home, and naturally had a lot of belongings to take with me. On the moving day, they bought along a team of 2, and they explained the process to me again. 
They arrived at 9AM, and the moving had been completed by 2PM, which was 3-hours ahead of schedule. They actually charged me less because the service was delivered in a shorter time frame. 
What I found really interesting about their 2-men removal team was that they took the initiative to go into my home, and manually start lifting appliances and my belongings, and taking them to their van. With other removal teams, I've found that they like to wait patiently at their van while you bring the items out (which isn't really what I want to pay for). With Giant Removals, they were more than willing to get their hands dirty and carry out everything I own.
The moving process was fantastic, and no items were damaged as far as I can tell. The total bill was in the region of £100, but I had to tip them an extra few quid. They did a top notch job, and I'm ever so pleased!

Having worked with Giant Removals,I can honestly say that  they provided an outstanding removals service. What I loved most about Giant Removals is their interactive website which allowed me to get a real-time  quote which I was after. I was looking for a flat removal and move from Mecklenburgh Square to my new apartment in Birmingham. Myself and my two friends , all of us being students, were on a strict budget.We were looking to move down Birmingham for the summer, and needed to take out all of our belongings and have them transferred into the new flat quickly and safely.Knowing that Giant Removals was business insured was a huge positive for us. After getting a quote through the Giant Removals website, we decided to go ahead. We got a reference number and details sent to our email. We also telephoned Giant Removals to make sure that the booking had been completed.In total ,the move took 8 hours, and the price remained the same as we were initialy quoted. We actually had an extra hour of time free, as Giant Removals made sure that they unpacked and moved all of our belongings into the new property. That was a huge bonus, saving us an extra hours worth of money. The boxes that Giant Removals used were study and durable, and they had multiple sized boxes. For the precious items, such as our television, the team bubble wrapped it up and sealed the box together to ensure there were no breakages . The only negative I have to say about Giant Removals is that their English isn't perfect. Still though, it was amusing at times and they were friendly - something which you don't often get. They really enjoyed their job and were passionate about pleasing us. A great overall service provided. Thanks Giant Removals.

I had to move from 3bed house located in Clapham North to Croydon. I got few quotes but giant removals appeared to be great value for money.  I booked removal service and as agreed they arrived at 5 pm. They also text me before arrival and called day before to ask if we were ready. Removal team from Giant Removals were  calm , efficient and very good value for money. They dismantled 3 seater sofa and protected with covers which was good as it was raining here.  Sam and his worker worked very hard until job was completed. Iwill use them again in future  . Thanks.

Moving on my own and as a first time buyer, I was looking for a reliable removal firm who could take the stress out of my move, were trustworthy, business insured, and who I would feel comfortable letting into my home. I could not have asked for more from Giant Removals. My experience has been extremely positive, from the initial booking and reassuring communications beforehand and when they were on their way, their care in wrapping all my sentimental belongings, to their efficiency and speed which saw them move me from Buckinghamshire to South London, an hour ahead of the time I'd predicted. Their professional manner meant I was able to remain relaxed throughout what can usually be a very frantic process - I could not recommend them enough! Thank you Sam and Peter.

We used Giant Removals for a move from Balham to Walton-on-Thames. We contacted the company because of the twenty or so five star reviews we read. Giant Removals provided an instant quotation for the move [£400] and we followed this up with a discussion with Sam about the provision of packing materials. These were delivered at exactly the time specified on the Sunday five days before the move. On the day of the move, Sam and Peter proved themselves to be hard-working, careful, courteous and effective. They disconnected the washing machine. took apart two beds and a wardrobe, covered the two sofas and the mattresses and loaded the van very efficiently. On arrival in Walton, unloading proceeded with equal efficiency. Despite temperatures of 30 degrees Celsius, the whole operation was speedily completed. Less time was required than estimated and this was reflected in the final cost of £432 which, included the charge for packing materials [£64] and an allowance for  fuel [£18].  We would recommend Giant Removals for their professionalism, courtesy and above all their honest approach. I have used Giantremovals.co.uk second time last week to relocate from Palmers Green to Chiswick. Removal team arrived on time and quickly started to work. They protected all furniture with paper blankets and all antique pictures .
I liked the fact that packing materials were delivered before moving day so we could pack personal items.
I really appreciate hARD work ,commitment and full professionalism we received from London removals company.
The  house removal quote was one of the cheapest and service was great.
