France Removals

Excellent service from start to finish.  They collected 2 sofas from Ramsgate for us, and also took collection of a garden bench we had ordered over the internet.  They stored these items for us until we were next in France then delivered them to us in St Gervais, Haute Savoie.  Total cost was £500 plus vat.  Most communication was by email and Leo responded to all my queries very quickly.  He was extremely helpful and emailed to let me know when he had collected the sofas and again to tell me that the bench had arrived at their depot. He even phoned me on the arranged delivery day to let me know when the van was an hour away.  Wouldn't hestitate to use this company again in future.  This review form makes you choose one of only a few French cities - delivery was actually to French Alps.

I was put in touch with the company thanks to a friend of mine. The company used a 18 cubic van and charged me the reasonable amount of £900 all included. Please note that I did not require packing materials. I placed the order just over a week before the pick up day. The removal was from UK (greater London area) to Southern Belgium. We were not sure if everything was going to fit in, but thanks to their well organized and helpful staff, all my belongings went in. The van was completely full and they really went out of their way to make sure that I didn't have to leave anything behind. It was a snowy day, but they provided blankets to protect my carpet and any delicate items. Although they work very fast, they were very careful with the handling of my furniture and boxes. We took a door off to make sure the sofa was not going to get scratched. The two men who handled everything were called Chris and Alain. They were extremely friendly, polite, professional and hard-working. They arrived at 9 am as agreed and had loaded everything in about 2 hours. They arrived in Belgium the following day around 11.30. It took them even less time to move everything into my house. The communication between Leo (the sales person) and I was very clear and excellent. I could not have afforded to take all my personal belongings with me without their service. I am very grateful to the company and would not hesitate to recommend them to other people. What a pleasant experience! Nice to see that these days they are still people who provide a great service in a honest manner. I wish them all the success they deserve.  .

Leo and his team moved our entire 3 bed house from London back to  Switzerland - just days before Christmas. We chose FranceRemovals because they were prompt and friendly and were able to do our move when we wanted it. And all this at an excellent price. Other companies were offering us a "part load" for a similar price - taking our stuff before Christmas and delivering it a week or more afterwards. Thanks to Leo and his team we had our move completed within two days and a very happy Christmas in our new home. As I had hoped, they were true professionals: friendly, punctual and efficient. They arrived at 8am as we had asked them to and our house was cleared within two hours. Everything was moved and stored carefully. The next day they arrived in Zurich in the afternoon, as planned. Again, within two hours, all our items were carried down the garden and up to our first floor apartment (many companies will not do this extra carrying, or only at an additional cost).  There was no damage to any of our items! Some of our antique pieces are quite fragile and they were all carefully wrapped and handled. I was so relieved and grateful! We were even more impressed when FranceRemovals delivered the remaining items that didn't fit in the first load (we had so much stuff and a full loft and shed too) a week later - all in perfect order and FREE of charge. All in all, we received an excellent service from FranceRemovals and at an excellent price. My husband and I are very happy with FranceRemovals and would recommend them to everyone, including our best friends!  .

This was a move from England to Switzerland, taking all my household effects. The boss (Leo Popa) visited the house personally to do the estimate of work. He was my contact throughout the move. He was pleasant, helpful, responsive, flexible and easy to deal with. The two teams one team for packing and loading in the UK, and another team who drove, delivered and unloaded in Switzerland (Basel) were very careful with all my things. They packed and loaded everything very well. They were all very nice, very easy to work with, very efficient and very hard-working. Plus they were the most competitive quote of four companies that I asked for estimates, cheapest quote by £500. Everything that they promised, they delivered. France Removals were recommended to me by two separate previous customers, and I will add my full endorsement to those recommendations.  .

I'm very happy about the removal. From the day I asked for a quote to the drop-off day, the company was prompt and efficient. The price was reasonable, 600 pounds in total, for five big boxes, a TV, a guitar, and a couch-bed. I received up-dates on pick-up/drop-off dates regularly by email. Two men who came to pick up the items were so efficient that it only took about 15 minutes. The items arrived just in two days. I recommend this company particularly to those who are moving between main cities in Switzerland and the UK as it take trips almost weekly. I'm looking forward to the next removal with Franceremovals!

I had used FranceRemovals 2 years ago and was impressed by how punctual they were then. This time I had to get 7 boxes from Germany to Scotland, which is a small job in logistics, and FranceRemovals were the only company that gave me a prompt quote, a pick up date and drop off date all within a quick timeframe. They gave me a 2hour slot pick up time in Germany and called me on the drop off day to tell me exactly when they would arrive. I am very impressed that even in the bad weather conditions they still managed to stick to their drop off day and time! The quote for the job was very reasonable, considering it wasn't a big job. I would highly recommend them!

We hired France removals to move our belongings from the UK to France. Leo was great to work with, he made the organising of our move easy and was very obliging when we had a last minute change of date. The removal men arrived on time. They were very friendly, well mannered and helpful. Our belongings arrived in France the very next day, no damage or lost items and again the removal men were lovely. Our whole experience with France Removals was excellent and made the move very easy. Will be using them again for sure on our move back.

The removal took two hours longer just because Leo and his team forgot to bring trollies to the site, most of my boxes including books and a new matress got damaged due to rain because the kept us waiting for the trollies. I could see all my life that had been carefully packed was perishing in front of my eyes. This was not over, at destination, the delivery driver demanded hundreds of poounds more than they original written quotation which I still have. I called Leo and he said that I have to pay the amount. The driver said he was not himself pleased for asking more as this is what he is asked to do by His manager every time. For me it was a very bad experience.
