We needed a grand piano moving. Having tried to even move the piano an inch was impossible for us to do.

I had heard good reports about Clockwork Removals Sheffield from friends that had used this company before, I prefer word of mouth when I use a company.

If we need anything else in the removal line I will certainly ask Clockwork to help us.

They were polite, friendly and above all very professional.

They had all the correct equipment to remove our valuable piano , which says to me that they are competent in their Jobs.

When they had installed my piano the guys cleaned up what little mess was made i.e. paper and covers they had used and asked us if we were satisfied with where the Piano

had been placed ( we had asked for it to be placed there) but they still had time to ask if we preferred it moving slightly to get the light on the keys.

They were, in my mind, concerned that we would be highly satisfied with their service and I can assure you we were.

I would highly recommend Clockwork for all my removals needs in the future 5 star company.

Unfortunately a number of items were left in the kitchen. I asked if they could take them however I was told the van was full and that was that. This meant I had to carry these items to a neighbours house and store them in her garage and garden this delayed our exchange by an hour. On arriving at the new property it was quite clear from their manner that we had inconvenienced them, whereas it was us that was inconvenienced. Our sellers commented to us that they were intimidated by the guys who were parked up outside waiting until the exchange had gone through. We paid for my daughters bed to be assembled, which then collapsed.

We recently used clockwork for both a removal from our house to storage and then from their storage to our new house. They were very efficient, arrived on time worked solidly for both moves and their knowledge of how to dismantle furniture really came in handy when we realised things wouldn't fit up the stairs!! They went above and beyond for us, would recommend. Operations team were really polite and apologetic when our move in was delayed due to bad weather (snowed in) and managed to get us booked in for the next day

A disgustingly bad service.

We moved in October 2020. The removal men did not have the correct allen key to take apart the dining table. Instead, they chose to take the dining table down a narrow back alley, which scraped the top of it. The company admitted it is damaged beyond repair. The removal men also refused to take the sofa down the one-flight of stairs. Instead, they chose to move the sofa via the window of a one story flat. They did not have the equipment to do this, so 'balanced' our sofa on top of our extended hoover. This resulted with the sofa frame cracking and damage to the leather. They also refused to cover any of the large items of furniture in their van, resulting with further damage to the dining table and a trunk.

We have photos of the awful removal service, including our sofa hanging out our window, balanced on our hoover. The company admitted responsibility and said they would be 'retraining their staff in moving furniture.' However, they did not apologise and would not provide a refund or compensation for their damage, due to their neglect.

The only action they would take was an insurance claim, which covers less than half of the value of the furniture.

Avoid this company. They are disgustingly awful.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

They offered a competitive price. They then sought to increase through extras. We helped them pack up. There was some waiting time. They called to tell me on the day to let me know what the price for waiting time was. They refused to unpack my things including essentials that I needed for my 5 year old and 2 year old until I had paid a bill set by them on the day. When I complained, I was told that it was my choice to help them (increasing the waiting time) and that it was my fault that they arrived early (increasing the waiting time). It is a company that puts money before their customers’ interests. If you do not want to be held to ransom and if you need essentials for your kids, use a company with integrity.

From the survey through to removals day and moving of our belongings everything was handled impeccably. The quote covered all our requirements and we felt it was very reasonable. The porters were on time. A super friendly crew. They worked really hard and put in a very long shift on getting the bulk of our household unloaded and setup to get us started in our new home. The office staff were extremely pleasant and very efficient. Everything was really convivial. A stressful period was greatly eased. We were recommended by referral and would have no hesitation in doing the same. Would definitely use again although I hope not, no more moves!

The Inverness Team did a brilliant job for us.

Their quote was competitive and through good planning they overcame the access challenge presented by a low bridge and narrow lane to reach our new house.

The crew were really efficient and packed our belongings into the vans with precision and care and when delivering to our new home they unpacked amazingly quickly. They were cheerful and friendly.

Overall, our experience was excellent - Clockworkshas a very professional set-up and we would recommend Clockworks 100%.
