City-Removals and Storage

The whole moving experience with Cityremoval was great, we moved from a 2 bed-room flat to a house, we had more stuffs than we expected, it was no problem for the guys to handle it. They were very polite, and professional, took care of all the goods, didn't damage anything. When moving the big pieces, they knew exactly what they are doing, so the wall or stairs were not touched.  And specially thank you to the guys helped us moving the fridge to the cellar, saved us space.  Thank you very much again, and will definately recommend the service to anyone!

About 2 weeks have gone since we have moved but only now I managed to find the time to write a well deserved review for this company.
Everyone involved has been incredibily helpfull and polite.They managed to find a solution to any problem that arose.Also they office has been wonderfull in helping me change my move day several times due to lousy solicitors.
The crew has also been unbelievable in dealing with me and my wife at our worst.
They packed everything with the utmost care.Dismantling and reassembeling also was a piece of cake.The guys definitely were extremely experienced as I watched them move several big pieces of furniture through tight corners without great difficulty.Everything was a breeze.
i fon t know what else to say apart from the fact that we were very very happy with how our move went along and I would use again and recommend to anyone.

This company has just taken our stuff into storage so this review is only for the first part of the move.A more indepth review will follow once we will get our  things back.
To start with the men were really polite and hardworking.Aldo very clean and well dressed.All our furniture has been wrapped as agreed using either blankets or zipped covers for safe keeping in storage.
Altough we did the packing they did not mind in helping placing last minute bits and bobs in boxes.
Also they were very skilled at manouvering heavy furniture through tight spaces and awkard corners.
In the morning the came on time and after a cup of tea they did not take another brake untill everything was loaded.An inventory was also given to us buly the guys.
Like I said another review will follow once we get our things back but so far so good.

We have completed our flat move with this company.As time is on the short side we have also asked them to pack.After this experience I think no one should ever self pack.3 men packed our flat in under 4 hours..AMAZING.And they packed everything very well with no rush.
The move itself was a breeze.The crew was experinced and nice people to hsve around.They spoke good english and understood instructions very well,not that they needed to many.
They also took stuff out from the loft for us.
At our new place we asked them to take their shoes off as we had new carpets and also dmall children.Instead they immediately placed caroet covers in the whole house.Impressive stuff.
A very good service that I can wholeheartedely recommend.

Mike and his team arrive on the dot and were quick and efficient throughout. They were careful and responsive to ad hoc changes when I needed to change placement of items at the new property. Beds were dismantled and reassembled very fast and the team was courteous and communicative, taking a shorter lunch break than originally planned to get the work done. 
This was not a straightforward move, as there were in all three delivery locations in SE16, N4 and N16. I was also not charged extra for adding additional drops :-)
Mike was a great team leader, he even gave me a spare blanket to protect a table in storage, and his two colleagues were very effective throughout. Everything was delivered intact and I felt the experience lived up to the apparently very positive reputation of the company. My father met the team and was most impressed by the courtesy and efficiency.
I would not hesitate to recommend City-Removals and use them again.

The van turned up exactly when arranged. The two packers were courteous, listened to my instructions; and explained very clearly the process. They packed efficiently but also with great care, taking time to properly wrap delicate items and labelling boxes logically. Our stuff was taken away for overnight storage and they returned to finish packing the next day - because of the distance involved, it made sense to get an early start. When I met them at the storage unit in Leeds, again exactly at the estimated time, they were again swift, careful and efficient in unloading our things. Now we have finally moved our stuff into our house (there was a delay between moving out and moving in) I can vouch that nothing is broken and everything is there. Having undercut Pickfords by about £1000, I honestly can't imagine what I would have got for the extra money: the move was timely, efficient, hassle-free and undertaken in a friendly, professional manner. As such, I wholeheartedly recommend City Removals.

My experience was very positive from start to finish. The lady who came out to do the estimate was punctual and friendly also managing to fit around my difficult schedule. We had both packing and removals service - the men arrived on time for both and were very courteous and efficient. They also reassembled furniture in our new house - including a bed that had not previously been assembled. I was very impressed at how quick they were. They were also incredibly good value for money - the quote was less than half that of another highly rated firm but the service was superb.
