Casey's Removals

We used Casey Removals to move us from a 2 bedroom flat from one side of Beckenham to a 4 bed (3 storey) townhouse on the other side.

The moving date was only 4 days before Christmas and there was only 5 days between Exchange and Completion, so we were slightly anxious we might not have quite everything boxed and ready to go on the move day.

Sam and Leo from Casey's Removals who helped us move were absolute superb. Any issue we had, they resolved. They removed our front door to help moving boxes in and out and they also helped remove some brackets from the wall which I didn't have the right tool for. They provided storage boxes which meant I didn't have to pack all of my clothes which were on hangers too.

All in all they took the stress out of what could have been a really stressful day.

The only downside I would say is that their quote was exclusive of VAT and it wasn't made particularly clear. The cost below is inclusive of VAT. Other than that, they were excellent and I would recommend them.

We got three companies to quote for a move. We were contacting companies between Christmas and new year for a move just two weeks away. We decided on Casey's - not the cheapest nor the most expensive but seemed to understand what we needed and discussed how that would work in practice. Although we were only moving a couple of miles, there was also out garden with about 130 pots, a storage unit to empty and deliver, and a piano and boxes to pick up from another address a further few miles away.

January 2016 move..

The Casey's team arrived on time and emptied our flat quickly and efficiently. They packed up the flat and plants, then unloaded the plants outside the new address while we were waiting for keys so they could do the other pick-ups. The main team of four called in three others who had finished their job earlier to help with unloading at our new home. They put protective covers on the flooring downstairs and had an "indoor team" who moved things internally and an "outdoor team" who carried all the garden pots and brought in lots of boxes to pass to colleagues inside. This minimised the effect of dirt and rain (it was very rainy for part of the day) in the new home.

Overall, we were very satisfied. The team worked hard and quickly they got some awkward furniture into the house without fuss or damage. We would recommend Casey's Removals.

Casey's provided an excellent service from quote to removal. This was the first time I have ever let a removal company pack my belongings but it certainly won't be the last!
The three man team allocated to my job were cheerful and efficient. They turned up on time, packed quickly and well and had me in my new home before I knew it. Nothing was damaged in the move and all boxes were clearly labelled. Once I had unpacked, the empty boxes were collected promptly.
I would certainly use Casey's again.

The guys doing our packing turned up early Sunday and packed our possessions in half a day (excluding the bed and a few other things for use). On the Monday the guys, deconstructed the bed, packed the remaining items and cleared the house. We were cleared and on the road around the estimated time.

The moving in went as smoothly and the guys moved our possessions to the required floors of our new home. Despite a bit of rain the guys managed to get things in quick and dry.

We had no breakages or missing items. There were a few scuffs on the walls up the stairs when moving the larger items up but nothing serious.

Casey's team arrived promptly on day 1 to pack my 6 bedroom cluttered family home and both guys were thorough & respectful, working consistently throughout the day. Day 2 a much larger team arrived with 2 trucks, 1 to take furniture to storage and a smaller one to move essentials to new home. Again, fast & furious working, with respect and patience especially when younger daughter realised her Oyster card had been boxed and loaded onto van! Very happy with service and competitive quotation. Would recommend.

We moved in the middle of March and used Caseys packing as well as removal services. The majority of the packing took place on the day before the move. Both were carried out very well and we would have no problem recommending them.

The staff were polite, hard working and efficient. They certainly helped make the move a far easier process than we imagined.

One item was damaged however the team tried to repair it on the day and when this was not possible we received reimbursement for the full amount. Great team and service.

We used Caseys to do our house move from London to Yorkshire and the service was excellent. The men turned up at the agreed time, were polite and friendly and worked well. The property was a second floor flat and they weren't put off by the stairs! We had 4 men to load up and 2 to drop off.
The men got to Yorkshire before us but waited patiently for us to arrive. All the boxes were put in the relevant rooms. No breakages or damage done to any of our goods. A company we would recommend.

From the initial meeting with Terry, who was so aware and reassuring of what downsizing after 34 years meant, to the collection of the last empty box following our move our experience with Casey's Removals was an excellent one. The flexibility built into the process regarding dates was needed as our dates changed twice due to the chain effect, each request dealt with calmly by the office staff. Adam who packed the day prior to the move and led the team on the moving day, worked tirelessly and in a friendly and professional manner. The special care moving my piano was much appreciated.

We had a great experience with Casey's Removals and their full packing and moving service.

The packing was done the day before in a swift and efficient manner.

The next day, everything was loaded up, large furniture disassembled, dishwasher unplumbed, etc.

The team too great care with everything and reinstalled the dishwasher, reassembled various bits of furniture in the rooms of our choice and did it all in good time.

They team were very communicative throughout the process to make sure they were doing everything exactly as we wanted.

I would fully recommend and use them again.

Casey's were generally excellent. They turned up in plenty of time (early in fact) on the moving day and had me packed up and moved in next to no time. Despite having to cross London and being in second floor flats (with no lift!) at both ends, I and my furniture were all happily in place by early afternoon. There was only one very small piece of damage which they honestly identified to me straight away, apologized for, and then fixed on site without me even asking them to (and considering the amount of antique furniture, mirrors and paintings they had to move up and down several flights of stairs this was really a very minor item). I think that this demonstrates their honesty and ingenuity in any case! Would happily recommend.

I used Caseys for the second time with only about a year apart and they were again very good although it was a different team. It made the move completely calm and nothing was too much trouble.

They consulted us on whether to keep trying to get the bed up the tight stairwell (they managed it) and they didn't complain at all that we were moving to a town house in torrential rain which keep up al day.

Despite that they made minimal mess and I was very impressed.

Our experience with Casey's was superb. They provided all of our boxes at a discount price (we packed ourselves) and were helpful with all of our questions and concerns. On the day they were extremely polite and helpful. We were moving out of a third floor flat with no lift. They had no complaints but got straight on with the job. The three guys lugged all the items down the stairs all morning, ensuring that we were out of the flat in good time. They were careful with all our items, dismantling our large wardrobe and double bed with care. When we arrived at the new property they checked exactly where we wanted each item and box. They also reassembled the items carefully in the chosen rooms. They unloaded all of our items with great speed giving us lots of time in the afternoon to unpack the boxes and enjoy our new home! Overall, their good humour and professionalism made the whole day so much easier. Thank you Casey's!

Casey's removals were recommended to us by a relative who was very happy with their service when she moved home. Moving is very stressful and it makes everything a whole lot better when the removal company is reliable. We found Casey's removal guys friendly,polite and very patient. They had a long wait with the transaction and did not complain. We recently used Casey's to pack and move us from East Dulwich SE22 to Catford SE6. Very reasonably priced, they weren't the cheapest but the price wasn't subject to other charges so we knew it would be all we had to pay. Great team of guys - plenty of them too. One guy arrived the day before and packed away everything into boxes he brought - well worth the extra to save the hassle. They arrived the next day when they said they would, packed two large vans and waited at the property for two hours until keys were released, after which more men arrived and we were soon unpacked. No complaints and would recommended for others!!

Our move was within Kingston upon Thames in May 2015. Initially we got three different quotes. Two of them were quite similar in price, one was significantly more expensive. We made a decision in favour of Casey's Removals based on the overall impression and price. In general, we were very pleased with the speed and professionalism of Casey's staff during our removal. We didn't have any damage or misplaced items. Also, we liked the fact that the number of staff was adjusted on each of the three days of packing, removal and delivery. A small hick-up in terms of the paperwork was dealt with quickly. I have no hesitation to recommend them to customers in South West London, Surrey and Kent.
