Casey's Removals

This is the third time in around a year that I have used casey's removals. The 1st time I used casey's a friend recommended them. Then I used them to move my son and now Ive used them to move my business. 
I would like to say a big thanks to the guys for working over the weekend to get everything ready for business on Tuesday. Also a big thanks to Matt who was employed by casey's to reinstall the computers, printers, scanners etc.

This is a very professional company from start to finish. The vehicles are very clean and staff are all in uniform. This was the only company from all the quotes we had that gave us a booklet with all the terms and conditions. It's very nice to see a family run business doing well in this day and age. I think that is something in it self. I'm very grateful to Casey's for making this a very Pleasant expericene. Moving house is a massive ordeal so this made it a lot easier.

A stress free experience made possible by Casey's!quite a large family move including several valuable items. Casey's offered to pack our items aswell as moving, which left me a little apprenhensive, but I decided that I'd give it go.
The team arrived on time, had my large items packed and loaded in no time at all. Casey's even had to dismantle some of our furniture due to the size. They then packed my smaller but valuable items with great care and attention!
All my items arrived at our new place exactly as promised. They had my furniture Rebuilt in no time at all and boxes in the rooms I required.
I am very greatfull to Casey's for making this move as easy as possible. A genuine team of fantastic workers, very well organised company from start to finish.

We have used Caseys twice now for our home removals and would definitely recommend them. The first time around I got a bunch of quotes and Caseys were one of the most competitive price wise, though they didn't seem to be cutting any corners with service. And this definitely proved to be the case. Both times we have used their full packing service as well as removals and found it to be a high quality service at very reasonable prices. They will quote you for the pack, or you can pay 'per box packed' which we did, giving us the comfort that we were only paying for exactly what's packed. And in case you're wondering..they made sure to pack all the boxes to maximum capacity! Customer service with Caseys is also great - you can simply call or email them and there was never any delay in either getting through, or hearing back. Not my experience with the processes of some of the larger companies. Their online form is very simple to fill in and you will hear back from them very quickly regarding the quote. All the staff I've spoken to on the phone were very helpful and polite - and organising extras like having our bed dismantled and reassembled and arranging for parking suspensions were no trouble at all. The removal men themselves were also great - polite, courteous, respectful of our home, friendly and hard working. English was not their first language but there was no language barrier at all. On our most recent move the lead man recognised me from the last time which was a nice touch and proves the benefit of going for a slightly more locally run firm. All in all we have been very happy with using Caseys and impressed with both their prices and service. I would recommend using them to anyone.

I was very impressed with Casey's.  Their salesman was the quickest to come and give me a price, it was the cheapest price, their telephone staff could not have been more helpful, and the removal itself went very smoothly indeed.  The day before the move Casey's staff came round to pack everything away in boxes.  They did a really professional job - everything was carefully and individually wrapped in paper and bubble wrap to make sure it was protected.  They were absolutely clear that quality not rushing was what they were about.  The next morning the removals van arrived with a cheerful crew who did a great job manoeuvring everything out of the house without any damage.  At the other end they offloaded everything and put it all in the rooms we asked for.  I was very happy indeed with Casey's service and would happily recommend them to anyone else planning to move.  Great value and a totally professional, considerate service.  Thank you Caseys. .

This is one of the communications from this company once they had my goods in their possession, Dear AC Since you have continued to ignore my e-mails and have not contacted the office regarding payment for your removal etc we have no alternative but to deliver back to you (kerbside delivery) the items removed on Monday. The will be delivered between 07:00-08:00 tomorrow morning at the below address: SW6 5EE*All quotations subject to terms & conditions*Kind regards John Casey Casey's Removals 020 8780 2348 www.caseyremovals.com Mr. Casey had my credit card number and had taken a 50% payment up front as required on his quotation. Mr. Casey in the above email demanded I pay the contract in full for work he had not completed. As you will read above, the email makes that demand. In later demands, he added items to the contract such as a box deposit, and storage for a week, when this was also not in the contract. The guild of removals refused to intervene when I threatened to sue Mr Casey for breach of contract .He finds every excuse not to return your goods. I have ended up with a solicitor’s bill. this is still on going. Mr. Casey also kept my credit card details, and charged my card over a period of 2 months without my permission. If you still consider using this company I urge you to contact me first, and I can provide you with over 35 emails to this company. I did not get an inventory of my goods, he put them in the lorry without any documents other than a quotation, I had to write to him a 8 page letter of the breaches of the agreement. Think twice. if you still want to know more of this horrific experience, get in touch.in the end I had to hire another company to complete the work due to the conduct. Steve says this company is untrustworthy I wholly agree. if more people complained about bad behaviour, more of us would be protected from it. I ended up paying almost £4500 for a local London move as a result. if there was a way to give this company no stars I would do so,.

I used Casey's for my removal from Clapham to Fulham in November. I found them to be excellent. They were totally professional and some of the friendliest guys you could meet. I was dreading packing and was so glad the girlfriend insisted they did it. They started moving us at 8 am and we were all loaded and out of the old house by 12 o'clock meeting the deadlines for vacating the property. A leisurely trip to our new property and fully settled in by about 4pm. I never thought you could make this seem so easy. The only small grouse I had was them trying to chat up the girlfriend :-) So thanks to all at Casey's and I will recommend you to any friends or family moving in the near future. James.

Hi Casey's moved me and my family in January 2013 from London to Newcastle. I had a quote from them about 6 weeks before the move. A guy called Terry or maybe Jerry quoted us. At first me and my other half was going to do the packing of the boxes to save money. With both of us working and two small children I don't know when we was going to do the packing. Terry/Jerry twisted our arm and said Casey's would supply the boxes and pack them for us on the day of the move. Well, cut a long story short, the boxes were packed, labeled and on the lorry in about 2/3 hrs. It was really funny, they were like robots, programmed to do a job and what a good job they did. Up in Newcastle the moving in went as good as the moving out. I stood by the door telling the boys and don't forget the girl which room we wanted the boxes in. A few cups of tea and a bacon sandwich the moving in was finished. Kerry the team leader of the move made sure we was happy with the move before leaving and taken the remaining balance the we owed Casey's. If anybody I knew was moving I would highly recommend Casey's. Very professional and the vehicles very clean & tidy. Another good thing was, they have an office which was great, on the way home from work I pop in a couple of times, once to pay my deposit and the second to get a few boxes so I could empty a few items from the loft. I just wanted to say a Big thank you to the whole Casey team for my smooth move from Croydon to West Wickham at the beginning of January 2013. From the day of quotation to the last item delivered into my new house. It was completely stress free and I actually enjoyed moving (not many people can say that). They are the most pleasant helpful people you could meet and nothing was too much trouble for any of the team. I definitely will be recommending Casey's Removals to everyone I know. .

We used Caseys for a move out of London. We wish we hadn’t.  We had quotes from a number of removal firms. We went with Caseys because it was local and was a member of the National Guild of Removers & Storers.  When moving our furniture into our new home, Caseys walked our leather sofa into a door handle - penetrating the leather of the sofa back.  Shortly afterwards, we had a call from Caseys – they wanted to charge us more because their van was unable to get around the corner of the close the new house was in. They do not seem to understand “a price is a price is a price”. After a battle with the credit card company, we are trying to withhold payment until Caseys get our sofa repaired and pay the balance. The Guild is uninterested in helping us. Caseys is threatening to sue us.  It is all very worrying, and highly stressful. Moving house is stressful enough without this poor customer service. I would not recommend Caseys to anyone. Even my worst enemy.

This company were excellent from making the booking to delivery at the destination.  The removal men were unbelievably helpful.  They were in good humour and had to cope with some tricky situations with getting some of my furniture in the new place.  They had two flights of stairs to deal with at my old place and four flights of stairs in my new place, they were fantastic and I cannot praise them enough.

I would also like to add that on the destination, my one wasn't there so I just picked anyone.

Searched on the National Guild of Removers and got quotes from Caseys plus another company. Both came up with the same price but as Caseys had online reviews to read up, decided to go with them. Opted for an additional packing service and was very surprised how prompt and efficient the remover (nicknamed Magic) worked. He was courteous at all times and used his experience when asking if he should pack away certain things which I'd missed. The next day the team arrived promptly and worked extremely efficiently. Magic in particular was outstanding - working very hard. The team had a very heavy old piano to move and I was extremely impressed by the strength and care they took over it. Sure we had a couple of minor casualties (light bulb broke and a cabinet got chipped slightly) but overall I was exteremely happy with Casey's service right from the beginning where I was quoted to when I said goodbye to the team. Communication was excellent throughout and all team members were a joy to be around. With 2 young children, I highly recommend getting removers in as moving day for us was actually very stress free. .

I can honestly recommend Casey's Removals, they were great. They worked hard all day with great humour and took time and effort to ensure everything was properly packed and protected from damage.
Having spent 3 days packing we were done with moving before they arrived. It was great to have them take charge in a professional and friendly manner. They got us into the new flat, helped us get the basics in place and cleared up the packing and left.
It makes such a difference being moved with people who take pride in their work. It doesn't get better than that!!

Excellent service from this company and the removal team were great really helpful and friendly and supportive something you really need particularly in my case where I was moving on my own. I would highly recommend them to anyone.  The only problem with my move was caused by the removal co who moved the people I was buying from - they hired a cowboy company who sent only a small van consequently had to do a few trips to get their stuff moved. So don't go for a cheap unreliable cfirm choose a reliable company like Casey's.  Well done guys and thanks again.

The removal company turned up early on our moving day and they were very helpful. We have 2 young children and a cat and they were considerate and patient with them.  They helped us to remember to take all our belongings and anything we had not packed they packed and secured for us.   When we arrived at our new house, they were waiting outside and were quick to get our belongings into the property.  They also helped in extra ways by taking out a shelf and helping to remove a built in cupboard. They made our moving day stress free and enjoyable, thank you!!

We used Caseys Removals in Beckenham for our House move on 24 August. We also paid for a full packing service. They sent a guy round to pack on the Sunday between 8am-1pm. He turned up spot on the dot, was a nice guy and did a great job of packing absolutely everything. We didn't move a finger on the packing front. Price for packing service was also very reasonable. Everything was packed perfectly and labelled clearly which really helped when unpacking.

On move day, the weather was horrendous but three guys arrived well before the stated time of 8am and begun loading the lorry. Even though weather was so bad, all our belongings were dried off and not soaked which is something I was really worried about. They covered the floor as well which was great. The entire house was packed up before 12pm which was astonishing.

We met the crew of three plus another two guys at the new property and they unloaded and built all our furniture by 5pm. Considering we didn't arrive at the new place till 2pm, they were super quick but thorough and professional.

Absolutely no breakages and a very friendly, fast and thorough service.

I'd recommend these guys to anyone. Money very well spent.

Having been let down by one removal company I contacted Caseys on a friday evening. An appointment was made for someone to attend my address the following evening to assess the belongings that were to be moved. By sunday evening I had received a quote for the move. The actual moving house experience was made much easier and less stressful by the removal team who were excellent. They arrived on time, discussed with us how they proposed to undertake the move and were open to requests to make slight changes to their plans. They worked extremely hard and were careful in handling our property. They were polite and helpful throughout and we would certainly use Caseys for any future move.  .

Casey's Removals were brilliant from start-to-finish. From the quote through to the 2-day removal, they were professional, helpful and hard-working. Queries via phone or email were answered promptly and efficiently. Our 2 day removal was heavy-going yet the 3 removal men worked so hard, were cheerful, polite and completed it all with their sense of humour intact! Nothing was broken; beds and wardrobes were taken down and put back together, and I have never seen 3 men work so hard to get a job done and done well. I would not hesitate to recommend Casey's Removals.

We had three quotes and chose Casey's as the less expensive of the two companies which we felt happy to entrust our entire belongings to. It was pricey, but we felt it was worth paying for peace of mind based on other recommendations. On this front, they did not let us down. Both the packing and moving teams were brilliant. Friendly, helpful, quick and careful. Likewise unpacking, 99% of items ended up in the right rooms and there was no damage. Perfect service by all of the removal staff who did a top job in hot weather. The reason for not giving 5 stars was I struggled with the office/admin side of things which felt a little casual. Despite asking for clarity twice, once on email and once on the phone, I never fully felt comfortable that the insurance cover was as I understood it to be (I took the risk). Further, once they had my credit card details for the deposit, they took the balance and parking suspension amounts without telling me. Although correct, not once was I told what the suspension costs would be, nor when either would be charged until I received my credit card bill. I also then had to chase for the deposit refund rather than it be done automatically. This doesn't feel right. That said, the office staff had no qualms contacting me afterwards to ask how I found the service, and only once I said it was great did they ask me to write this review! And then chase when I forgot! So if you don't say it was great, perhaps you don't get asked to leave a review?
