Casey's Removals

Casey's Removals were excellent. They packed the day before the move which eased the stress for us. The team arrived with two vehicles and loaded up within a couple of hours, efficiently and without fuss. All members of the team were willing and helpful; they knew exactly what was needed.
At the new house, furniture and boxes were unloaded in the appropriate areas. As we emptied boxes, the team collected the empties and loaded them onto the vans. We also found it very helpful that the company was willing to collect the empty boxes on two occasions, giving us more space to unpack.

We were facing a family move a few weeks before Christmas, we decided on this move to have our movers pack us, that is where the stress of the move rests, no scrabbling around for packing materials for us, in fact, there was a moving miracle, the day before the move was due to happen, two happy Casey's men arrived with a heap of packing materials, off I trotted leaving them to it.
A few hours later a call from the super Jack, we're done for the day, we'll be back in the morning.
Off home I went and goodness, it was near as darn it all done, all that was left were the beds and a few kitchen bits that we had said to leave out.
Next morning bright and early Jack was back with Ralph and the wonderful driver of the moving lorry, four hours later, we were loaded and on the road.
These guys are super fast and great, have a good clear out before your move and don't forget to leave the coffee in the don't pack pile!

The team from Caseys came as arranged the day before our move to do the packing. There were 4 of them and by the end of the day they had not only packed virtually everything but had also loaded it onto the lorry ready for the next days move.
This meant that on the moving day there were just the last few things to load and by 9.30 everything was done and they were ready to go.
The unloading at our new home was just as organized as it had been when packing and everything was put into the correct rooms, as requested.
Caseys was not the cheapest quote that we had but I am so pleased that we chose them as our removers and have no hesitation in recommending them to our anyone who is looking for a 1st class removal company.

I had booked a removal with Caseys for 14th February at a total cost of £1,536. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control due my moving date had to bee postponed to next week. So I got on to Casey's to explain the situation and ask them if I could move the date to next week once I had confirmation. I was told that I would be charged a whopping 75% cancellation fee even though at the time I still wanted them to do the job. I was told by their representative when he called to give me the quote that I could move the date with no charge if the circumstances changed - which is just not true!
I have had to pay them almost £1,000 for doing absolutely nothing!! They said it's in their terms and conditions and I can appreciate them charging that if I was taking the job elsewhere, or charging me a smaller postponement fee because at that point I still wanted them to do my removal next week.I am literally moving 3 miles away.
I am absolutely livid as I have basically thrown £1,000 down the drain through no fault of my own.
Beware of what they tell you when they come and give you a quote - and my advice is just don't use them in the first place!!

Our family would like to say a very big thank you to Adam and Co who helped up move quickly and efficiently. The team came the day before to help pack up all of our boxes for us and even take away old furniture that we did not need anymore.

The team did an excellent job. They were so professional. On the move day 14th March 2018, the removal van came very early in the morning and we were packed up and ready to go. The guys moved and even helped unpack and put all of the items in the correct rooms.

The packing and service were excellent. The boxes were packed and boxed up safely. When we had unpacked, we just called up the company and they came to collect the boxes.

We had Casey's pack the day before we removed and 2 chaps arrived at 8am on the dot and were finished around midday. A godsend if you have small children like we do!
On the day of the move, 3 chaps arrived and promptly loaded up in an insanely short space of time. They brought a HGV and Luton van and needed both - very impressed they factored in how much stuff we had! Once packed, they sat outside our new property waiting for us to get the keys. Once we got them, 2 more chaps arrived and all 5 unloaded in a couple of hours - boxes in the right rooms and all dismantled furniture put back together. Everyone was polite, friendly and careful. Basically I have recommended them to everyone we know and wouldn't use anyone else in future!

We used Casey's Removals on recommendation from a friend who moved from London to Devon. Impressed from the start, put our worries and queries to rest. Packers the day before were brilliant - moving team next day were, again, brilliant, nothing too much trouble. On arrival in North Yorkshire, we not able to reverse large lorry up the drive, due to ground clearance, so the guys had to carry the extra distance from the road -but - no grumbles. Adam and your team, thanks for your excellent and cheerful service and for bringing half our old garden along as well.

I have never taken the time to write a review before but this time had to be my first.

Moving stressful enough and Mrs in melt down. You tell her all is fine, you won't have to do anything and ok to go to work & leave me to it.

Who you going to call.. Casey's

Chose the packing package with fingers crossed all would be ok.. phone them with just 3 days notice of moving date.

They turned up around 7.30 but still have to drop Mrs at train station and do the school run.

They calmed use all down told us what to gather for the next 48 hrs. I had no choice but to leave the house with these strangers with boxes.

I had to do nothing all day except a few dump runs. But somehow left an operation house to live in overnight & for breakfast.

Moving the following day they packed up everything even plants and shrubs.

A long wait for confirmation of completion, way passed 3pm.. no pressure or complaints.

They unloaded putting everything and anything where the Mrs said. Even rearranged two bedroom when she change her mind.

Rebuilt beds and anything dismantled.

Also collected stuff from our big yellow unit.

Once gone we were operational for living with 30 min.

Oh, nearly forgot the big disaster. My seller removed all the fitted wardrobes but the guys put temporary carboard units in all the bedrooms.

The next day.. to find even the herb & spices were individually wrapped in paper.

In being honest I only got the one quote but the £1,000. Anyone would have had their fingers cross and thought for the worst.

1 million % recommendations.

In a word 'SUPERB' Arrived on time with 3 guys plus 2 extras following on. Between them they didn't stop and had our whole house packed into the lorry in no time. At the other end unloading was even quicker albeit only the 3 in the lorry came. Care was taken at all times even down to covering the cream carpets at our new house to walk on. I must admit to being apprehensive as this is the first time I've ever moved using a big company, but I needn't have worried they were great would definatley recommend Caseys. If you have time take some photos on the day to add to review I would have if I'd known.

Casey's Removals provided me with a packing service and removals at the beginning of June 2019. The packing service was excellent, my 3 bedroom house plus a large amount of garden equipment and plants all packed the day before the move. The move went smoothly and the unpacking was efficiently handled, with particular care being taken with the garden plants. The packing of delicate items was excellent, nothing was broken or damaged. One minor issue was being unable to recycle the packing boxes back to Casey's due to the distance involved. Fortunately, a quick advert on Freecycle and someone local took them all. I am happy to recommend Casey's Removals.

Having used the commercial side of this removal company for two office relocations I had no hesitation on using them for my own house move.
As expected, they arrived promptly, all of the removal men were well presented, polite and took care with my personal possessions.
No question or request was to small or irrelevant for them to deal with and all done within a more than reasonable timeframe.
Upon reaching the other end, as with all house moves the keys had not been handed over. They waited patiently out of sight until they were asked to unload. Again great care and attention to detail was taken, even when I needed things moved a few times.
They disposed of rubbish, took apart beds etc and re-assembled at the other end.

My brother also used the service, my Mum will do when she moves in a couple of months time. Highly Recommended!!

Casey's team of 4 arrived earlier than expected which was not a problem for us.  They were very courteous, respectful and considerate with our furniture.  They did not stress us by trying to push us to get things moving faster, they worked at a very steady pace. It was one of the hottest days of the year - 32 degrees - but give these guys credit, they did not flag!  We thought we were organised - but that did not prove to be the case and nothing phased this team.  I expect there was slightly less pressure as we were not moving on "completion" day, but I have absolutely no doubt that the team would have dealt with it if we were.  We were collecting furniture from the local Big Yellow Storage and I forgot my lock up number.  This delayed everything by at least an hour, but still these guys were calm and did not show any annoyance at my stupidity!    I cannot recommend Casey's Removals enough.   Steve Casey came along to price the job and he gave me the utmost confidence to the point that I did not even bother to get 2 other quotes which I would normally have done.  When we have to move house I will definitely employ Casey's services again.  They were professional and, I think, extremely reasonable on cost. .

On beginning the unpacking I found items incomplete in the box, for example remote controls and leads were not packed together, leads for items were not packed with them (still searching re speakers), items from the same drawer were not together - Mont Blanc leather pen holder found but it's matching leather notebook not with it. Top of Royal Albert butter dish found but the base is nowhere to be found. Leather jackets and other expensive coats/jackets stuffed into a box instead of hanging boxes. Numerous fragile items put in boxes unwrapped,including antique glassware, some of which have been damaged. The majority of the boxes were marked 'miscellaneous' which is not very helpful and certainly not descriptive. The hedgetrimmer was found in a box in the bedroom. Despite repeated calls to Caseys on the matter the manager has not returned my calls in six days. Overall not a good experience and I would not recommend them to anyone. keep looking for another removal company if you value your posessions and them assisting you in the process of unpacking in a logical manner.        .

Ronnie and his partner arrived at 09.00 on the dot and were friendly, polite and professional throughout.  They quickly but carefully loaded all my belongings onto the van and unloaded them the other end. I did not have a huge amount of items (very little furniture) but rather a lot of heavy boxes containing hundreds of books. The entire move took less than an hour from door to door and I was very happy with the service. My dealings with HQ were also easy and they were very helpful.  I will definately recommend Casey's to others and will use them again for future moves.

Casey's Removals in Beckenham were very accomodating about the short notice change of removal dates. The office staff answered the phone promptly and were courteous, helpful and rang back when they said they would. Casey's Removals did all the packing up of our 3 bed house on the morning of the moving day and arrived promptly and ready to go. The men asked about certain items when needed. The men were in uniform and remained cheerful throughout what was a long day. They made the move feel much less stressful than expected. All good.

I moved house with Casey's recently and the 2 guys who moved my stuff were very helpful, professional and efficient. However, it's the staff in the office who are the problem. Firstly all quotes are without VAT, so an extra 20% will come out of your bank account. Secondly, they do not provide T&Cs so they can effectively make things up as they go along. I had to ask the guys to take one of my items of furniture into storage as they could not get it into my flat (at a cost of £96), but at no point were any T&Cs shared, so when I came to get my item out of storgage, they told me I would be charged an extra £150 VAT (£180). I had no choice but to pay them. Then what was really dodgy was they just took it out of my bank account - they had kept my bank details on file.
Now I check my bank statement thoroughly each week to make sure they don't take any more out since I wouldn't trust them not to do this.
They may seem cheaper than other companies, but that's because there are hidden costs. I would not use them again.

Casey's were recommended to me by a friend. I requested them to move my large flat in central London to Wales with several drop offs to my children enroute. Logistically I thought this would be a little nightmare as ensuring everybody, including myself, gettong what they should. I may have thought it difficult but their methodical and professional approach could not be faulted. Everybody from the office through to the men on the job were efficient and friendly and I cannot recommend them highly enough

Back in Jan this year contacted these guys and had a guy called terry come round to do a costing to move 3 bedroom items to storage until we completed on our new home.
The quote was reasonable and I went ahead. After he had left to wanted to google caseys and found a few negative comments.
i rang the office which was local to me and was explained thoroughly about the negative reviews. I took a chance.
anyway a day after the snow in jan the removal van came on time in the morning with a couple of chaps. They were polite and started to work. An hour later a smaller van came along with another couple of guys and efficiently packed my stuff onto the vans.
it was all done in just over 3 hours and the house was left spotless.
last week called caseys to redeliver my furniture to my new place in Putney. They arranged a parking suspension and Were bang on time for 1130 yesterday.
The team of four were great, put all the furniture back together and put boxes in their various rooms as mentioned to them by me.
the whole process from beginning to end was pain free and I would recommend anyone to use these guys for peace of mind.
