Gary arrived and completed the survey, was shown 5 rails of hanging clothes that he then noted down.
My wife and I selected the removal service only and packed all our items into stout boxes that we sealed well.
On the day we had a call telling us they were half an hour early and arrived at that time in a liveried van. Guys introduced themselves one doing a walk through with me. 2nd van and driver appeared.
All friendly. Quick working, the stacker calling for objects and boxes he required to stack. Very well done. Only surprise no hanging boxes supplied.. but clothes hung on webbing straps tied across the van. Not pretty but effective.

Only two outdoor brooms fell victim of the move, both being broken by items put on them in the garage when unloaded.. so no problems there.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Trunk Logistics. They were prompt in offering a service date/time, price was competitive, they turned up on time, having texted and called previously to confirm arrangements. The two guys has their work cut out for them - two flights of stairs to carry down all my boxes! Although it seemed like they hadn't been advised in advance they were polite enough and cracked on without any issue. They seemed pretty speedy, piling several boxes on top of each other and I guess pretty strong! It was a straightforward enough move, I had packed and dismantled everything and they only needed to unload to one room of the property I was moving into. I didn't have anything particularly delicate either so can't make any comment in that respect. I would use again for sure! thank you.

We used trunk for our move and we were absolutely over the moon with how prompt professional and pleasant they were Chris, Morgan and Lewis arrived at 9:00am as promised and they got the vans loaded within a couple of hours even though they had our 5 year old buzzing around their ankles which they didn’t complain about once.
They unloaded at the other end with equal efficiency and everything was completed within 6 hours including an hour journey.
Overall I was incredibly impressed with trunk as a professional outfit and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Service cost: £800

I used Trunk Logistics to move on the 7 September 2020. They were not cheap. Infact the same price as two other reputable companies who were not available for the 7th. I ordered wardrobe cartons on the telephone so left all my hanging clothing in the wardrobe. They arrived half an hour late and smelling of alcohol. (Not sure if that was from the day before but they clearly looked as if they had little sleep)

I asked for the wardrobe cartons and the guy who spoke very little English said they hang it on a rope across the lorry. I called the office and complained and Trunk Logistics denied the conversation. (How do you argue back with denial on the day of a move? needles to say the person was rather argumentative)

I clearly asked for 5 x wardrobe cartons the week before. I also complained that their guys were being rough with my furniture. They also managed to knock the thermostat off the wall which I had to repair before completion.

They clearly did not know how to pack a truck (clearly NO logistics)

All my furniture was just shoved in and piled up.

I told the guys where the rear garden gate was located and opened it to clear the outdoor shed and for my plants.

Instead, they dragged the plants and BBQ through the house.

My plants were squeezed into the back of the trucks and the branches were just bent and squeezed in. So many branches were snapped. I expressly told them to be gentle but they had a job to do and just carried on. They clearly wanted to get the move over with ASAP.

I reached a point where I was so stressed and just wanted them gone.

I am in the process of unpacking and the damage to my furniture is beyond me.

I would not use this company again and I am awaiting to see how Trunk Logistics respond to my email advising of the damage.

Now that I have had a few days after my move and upon looking back at my quote, I was quoted £695 for the move plus £50 enhanced liability. Prices include VAT.

Trunk Logistics charged me £864.40?

Their quote separately listed boxes etc but NO boxes were supplied to me.

I supplied all my boxes and wrapping and tapes.

Trunk Logistics therefore overcharged me by £109.40.

So utterly disappointed.

We used this company for a house move back in October. I’ve waited to leave a review as we’ve been sorting out getting furniture repaired that was damaged in the move (which, in fairness, has been delayed by Covid). We had an appalling experience. The quote was given by video call. The vans that turned up were way too small but I was told the lack of space was my fault as I had not packed everything in boxes. This meant that we had to return the next day and pay another £600 to move the rest of our possessions. Luckily our buyer was understanding. It was massively inconvenient as we have moved 100 miles away. We were told that clothes rails would be provided and clothes would be removed from wardrobes, transported on the rails and put into wardrobes in the new house. My son saw my clothes being put in the front seat of a van and my mum’s clothes were put into boxes so we couldn’t find them when we got there. One of the men kept moaning that we had ‘too much stuff’ and another swore repeatedly. They were very unprofessional. Once there my clothes were heaped onto a sofa. We have a large garage/workshop and asked that the boxes be put in there and the furniture in the house. A lot of the furniture was put in the garage and the boxes were put down one end of the garage stacked 4 or 5 high leaving the other end of the garage totally empty. We struggled to get the boxes down as heavy boxes were stacked on top of light ones. Various items were broken and damaged including a large wall mirror that I was assured would be wrapped in blankets and put between mattresses. Unfortunately because I was unable to get to this I could not report it working 7 days so it was not covered by the insurance. I am still finding items that are broken. On the second day we watched one of the removal men throw a box into the back of the van. They then drove away at top speed. My friend arrived as they were leaving and said we would be lucky if anything arrived intact. I told one of the crew on the second day about our experience and he said he would report it to the office. They never contacted us. I would definitely not recommend this company. They might be okay for a small local move but they are not good with a big job.

I cannot thank Trunk Logistics enough for helping me move, the Customer Service Team were so kind, we were originally moving a few months back then finally moved late April (Cambridge to Cambridge), a big thank you to the Office Team.

Our Removal Team were excellent - George and Michael arrive as agreed, were professional, polite and kind during this stressful time, they carefully pack all our house up in time for the lunch time completion. They then met us at our new home and place everything as expected. My mum was with me and sitting on a lounge chair, they left this item until the end to enable her to remain safe and seated. Thank you both.
