I stored my items here for over 2 years. Was given the full spiel and they told me everything would be perfect when it came to delivery. Well - they lost an armchair, lamp, hoover, microwave and many other things. They never replied to my emails after that and got back to me much later on because "we are busy at this time of year due to stamp duty increases". Then when they finally acknowledged me, gave me a poorly formatted word document to fill in for lost items and when I took longer than 7 days to reply (despite them ignoring me for weeks lol), they refused to refund any of the items. Poor service. BEWARE OF STORING ANYTHING HERE!!!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: £3000

The guys in the office were really accommodating, I got messed around with my moving date and they managed to book me really last minute. The guys that turned up did a great job too, I was impressed with the leave of protection and care that was taken on the day. I would really recommend these guys, they couldn't do enough for me and made moving a lot less stressful. It wasn't the cheapest quote we had but for the service I received i'm happy we paid the extra.

Service cost: £1675

I paid £1,329 (nearly £1600 inc VAT) for a move from Sussex to Norfolk including dismantling & reassembly. They changed the day of moving 2 days before they were due to undertake the move, sent packers that did half a job (which had to be completed by us) and when I arrived at my house they had put everything in the wrong rooms & nothing was reassembled! I tried to contact the office & nobody was available, I called one of the chaps who had done the moving (whose number I had as he had called as he was running late) & he essentially said “not my problem” I spoke with a woman who was a little better & it was promised someone would be in touch that day & nobody was. This company spread themselves too thin, take on too much work & as such cannot fulfil their obligations. Do not use them.

When we saw the surveyor to cost the move, it was with Removers and Storers, but a week before we moved we were informed they had been taken over by Trunk Logistics. But having said that, the service we received throughout was seamless, efficient and professional. On removal day, there was meant to be a three man team, but only two turned up; however those two men worked incredibly hard and completed the work in a very good time. I cannot praise those two men highly enough, considering they did the work of three men. I would be happy to recommend them.
The move was from Strood, Rochester, Kent to Cuxton, Rochester, Kent. These locations are not listed in the moving route!

Service cost: £880

The whole day was very traumatic. We had packed everything ourselves and had written on boxes which room etc. We felt very organized and excited about moving. Moving day arrived. They arrived nearly 3 hours late. They appeared at 11.45 and we had to vacate our property by 1pm. Apparently they did a job before us! We booked this week's in advance. We had a 4 bed town house and they appeared with 2 box vans and 3 people. I was in tears..they had ruined our day. They reversed on the drive and managed to smash a fascia tile. We left for our new home 2 hours late and with a phone call from the buyers solicitors charging US for going over 4pm! WTF. Nothing was off loaded where we wanted and now have to dig through the garage to find the basic essentials. To add insult to injury one worker even remarked on us giving him a tip!..yes I have one..BE ON TIME. we went with Trunk Logistics and paid more than other companies expecting a professional encounter..while digging through our items today we have noticed damages to our property!. Even the buyers removal company were shocked at what was happening and watched in horror. Never again. Unprofessional and more interested in dumping our home anywhere so they could leave. My advice is shop around before using this company. I would not recommend them..

You get what you pay for! don't go cheap is the answer.
Two men instead of three turned up with much smaller vehicles then paid for too..TV not protected, neither was the large mirrors, no clothes holders as promised! Manager accused me of getting in more items for them to move, in fact I sold ALL of my household furniture to the new buyers-thankfully I did!
Damage to my items was in excess of £1800.00. Many garden items were left at the property for US to collect another day. Thank goodness we had reasonable buyers in our house that were ok about this.

The move was 10 minutes down the road, with no furniture just household stuff and garden and garage items.

Service cost: £735

Gary arrived and completed the survey, was shown 5 rails of hanging clothes that he then noted down.
My wife and I selected the removal service only and packed all our items into stout boxes that we sealed well.
On the day we had a call telling us they were half an hour early and arrived at that time in a liveried van. Guys introduced themselves one doing a walk through with me. 2nd van and driver appeared.
All friendly. Quick working, the stacker calling for objects and boxes he required to stack. Very well done. Only surprise no hanging boxes supplied.. but clothes hung on webbing straps tied across the van. Not pretty but effective.

Loaded in 3 hours Only a 11 mile drive
Unloaded in 3 hr 15 min.
Items put where requested.

Only two outdoor brooms fell victim of the move, both being broken by items put on them in the garage when unloaded.. so no problems there.

Service cost: £745

Would have been 5 stars if the team that moved me were the team that packed up the house the day before.

Initial engagement was good, price was competitive, and overall everyone was very professional. The team that packed up my house only put in about half a days work which meant the team that came to move me the next day still had a lot of packing to do which delayed the trucks leaving.

Apart from that the packing was done well and the team that moved us were very helpful, friendly, and reassuring.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST.. moving date September 2019
I had the full package . Packing and dismantling of wardrobe and bed & removal.
The packing day, 1 day before moving day. Arranged for the guys to arrive at 09:00 at 09:30 called to see where there were as they had not arrived. Girl on the phone said they left Grays at 08:15 for my address in Chelmsford and that she would call me immediately. 09:55 I called again and her answer was the guys are not picking up her call and she feels they may have all of their phones on silent. 10:20 they arrive (2 hours after leaving the depot) and I was greeted with a shabby looking guy who’s comment to me was this is a small job so he needs to stretch it out past lunch so that he doesn’t get allocated a second job in the afternoon. Packing was painful to watch. They damaged my wardrobe whilst dismantling (photographic evidence). Day of moving 2 unbranded lorries arrive and they set about loading the trucks .. ignoring advice to transport tumble dryer through the back garden and then first not checking and then spilling the residue waste water all over the conservatory, dining room and lounge before realising their issue. Having walked it through the hallway too. At that point they Placed a cardboard box on the conservatory floor to soak up the liquid. Leaving me to soak up and clean the other rooms. Boxes dangerously piled high in certain rooms and heavy on top of light. Crushing boxes on the bottom (photographic evidence) No hanging rail to carry clothing even though it was stated they would use them. When questioned The office said they do not provide them and the truck driver saying they do for an extra cost. Having spent over £1,100 pounds already another few pounds for the clothing boxes would not have been an issue. During the loading phase the team collectively complained that this was a bigger job (contradiction to day 1 comments) and that they were worried now that loading was taking too long (even though they were in control and stopped for several cigarette breaks) and that they might have a problem at the other end.
I am getting bored with this now because I do not the energy to carry on with the rest of the issues I encountered.

Only to say if you treasure your personal belongings in any way shape or form you would be very well advised not to use this company. Kind regards G. from Chelmsford.

I experienced a First Class service from this operation team at every step of the way.

From the very beginning they were punctual and efficient in everything that they did. They cleared the house in less than 90 minutes and wasted no time in travelling up to my new property and again off loading the contents with the utmost efficiency.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Trunk Logistics to any future customers.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Trunk Logistics. They were prompt in offering a service date/time, price was competitive, they turned up on time, having texted and called previously to confirm arrangements. The two guys has their work cut out for them - two flights of stairs to carry down all my boxes! Although it seemed like they hadn't been advised in advance they were polite enough and cracked on without any issue. They seemed pretty speedy, piling several boxes on top of each other and I guess pretty strong! It was a straightforward enough move, I had packed and dismantled everything and they only needed to unload to one room of the property I was moving into. I didn't have anything particularly delicate either so can't make any comment in that respect. I would use again for sure! thank you.

We used trunk for our move and we were absolutely over the moon with how prompt professional and pleasant they were Chris, Morgan and Lewis arrived at 9:00am as promised and they got the vans loaded within a couple of hours even though they had our 5 year old buzzing around their ankles which they didn’t complain about once.
They unloaded at the other end with equal efficiency and everything was completed within 6 hours including an hour journey.
Overall I was incredibly impressed with trunk as a professional outfit and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I used Trunk Logistics to move on the 7 September 2020. They were not cheap. Infact the same price as two other reputable companies who were not available for the 7th. I ordered wardrobe cartons on the telephone so left all my hanging clothing in the wardrobe. They arrived half an hour late and smelling of alcohol. (Not sure if that was from the day before but they clearly looked as if they had little sleep)

I asked for the wardrobe cartons and the guy who spoke very little English said they hang it on a rope across the lorry. I called the office and complained and Trunk Logistics denied the conversation. (How do you argue back with denial on the day of a move? needles to say the person was rather argumentative)

I clearly asked for 5 x wardrobe cartons the week before. I also complained that their guys were being rough with my furniture. They also managed to knock the thermostat off the wall which I had to repair before completion.

They clearly did not know how to pack a truck (clearly NO logistics)

All my furniture was just shoved in and piled up.

I told the guys where the rear garden gate was located and opened it to clear the outdoor shed and for my plants.

Instead, they dragged the plants and BBQ through the house.

My plants were squeezed into the back of the trucks and the branches were just bent and squeezed in. So many branches were snapped. I expressly told them to be gentle but they had a job to do and just carried on. They clearly wanted to get the move over with ASAP.

I reached a point where I was so stressed and just wanted them gone.

I am in the process of unpacking and the damage to my furniture is beyond me.

I would not use this company again and I am awaiting to see how Trunk Logistics respond to my email advising of the damage.

Now that I have had a few days after my move and upon looking back at my quote, I was quoted £695 for the move plus £50 enhanced liability. Prices include VAT.

Trunk Logistics charged me £864.40?

Their quote separately listed boxes etc but NO boxes were supplied to me.

I supplied all my boxes and wrapping and tapes.

Trunk Logistics therefore overcharged me by £109.40.

So utterly disappointed.

We used this company for a house move back in October. I’ve waited to leave a review as we’ve been sorting out getting furniture repaired that was damaged in the move (which, in fairness, has been delayed by Covid). We had an appalling experience. The quote was given by video call. The vans that turned up were way too small but I was told the lack of space was my fault as I had not packed everything in boxes. This meant that we had to return the next day and pay another £600 to move the rest of our possessions. Luckily our buyer was understanding. It was massively inconvenient as we have moved 100 miles away. We were told that clothes rails would be provided and clothes would be removed from wardrobes, transported on the rails and put into wardrobes in the new house. My son saw my clothes being put in the front seat of a van and my mum’s clothes were put into boxes so we couldn’t find them when we got there. One of the men kept moaning that we had ‘too much stuff’ and another swore repeatedly. They were very unprofessional. Once there my clothes were heaped onto a sofa. We have a large garage/workshop and asked that the boxes be put in there and the furniture in the house. A lot of the furniture was put in the garage and the boxes were put down one end of the garage stacked 4 or 5 high leaving the other end of the garage totally empty. We struggled to get the boxes down as heavy boxes were stacked on top of light ones. Various items were broken and damaged including a large wall mirror that I was assured would be wrapped in blankets and put between mattresses. Unfortunately because I was unable to get to this I could not report it working 7 days so it was not covered by the insurance. I am still finding items that are broken. On the second day we watched one of the removal men throw a box into the back of the van. They then drove away at top speed. My friend arrived as they were leaving and said we would be lucky if anything arrived intact. I told one of the crew on the second day about our experience and he said he would report it to the office. They never contacted us. I would definitely not recommend this company. They might be okay for a small local move but they are not good with a big job.

I cannot thank Trunk Logistics enough for helping me move, the Customer Service Team were so kind, we were originally moving a few months back then finally moved late April (Cambridge to Cambridge), a big thank you to the Office Team.

Our Removal Team were excellent - George and Michael arrive as agreed, were professional, polite and kind during this stressful time, they carefully pack all our house up in time for the lunch time completion. They then met us at our new home and place everything as expected. My mum was with me and sitting on a lounge chair, they left this item until the end to enable her to remain safe and seated. Thank you both.
