From the start everything went very smoothly. Our initial query was quickly responded to and Peter from the company came out to give us an estimate. Had a few questions between then and the move which Peter answered at all hours.

Movers came earlier than expected and with two vans - ended up needing only one but appreciated the preparedness. All the guys were friendly, professional, and made the move run smoothly. Couldn't be happier with the move, thanks again to all involved.

This company is quite simply brilliant! From initial contact with Peter, dropping off boxes and the move itself, it was all handled extremely well. E-mails were answered promptly and the 4 chaps who did the removal, headed by Martin and Marcus were so practical and helpful and quick! We moved from a ground floor flat in Glasgow to a second floor flat (with a tight stairwell) in Edinburgh. We were impressed with how they handled our large furniture items in constrained spaces, and the care taken to 'round up' all the smaller items- our belongings were expertly handled, packed and unpacked and this made the move seem incredibly easy! We would unreservedly recommend this company and they are really incredibly nice people to deal with. Thanks team, we will be recommending you to friends and family!

Quite simply the best. The Home Removals Company have moved me many times and the last move was complicated by the Gas Board digging up the road in front of the flat I was moving from, with traffic lights and irate drivers it could have been chaotic; but as usual the guys were incredibly cheerful, competent and swiftly moved everything without complaint. I would never dream of using any other company to move me and I would confidently recommend Peter and his company. Thank you for yet another great move I will continue to recommend you to friends as well as Estate Agents.

All the people involved were extremely professional, efficient and friendly. I needed a full packing and removal service. The price was extremely reasonable for the job. Peter came to have a look in advance. Everybody turned up on time and there was no time wasted. After the move they came back to collect the boxes, which saved a lot of time on my part. I’ve had to use professional removal companies 4 times before in different cities, and these guys are the best, they really made a tricky day (key exchange, move and young child to be entertained) an extremely easy business. Excellent Service from original visit by the boss Peter to deliver of Items, very efficient, Excellent customer service,, very helpful lads, Martin & Ian, everything was done with the greatest of care. No damage or breakages, they, clean tidy vans.
Far better than the bigger removal companies who are more interested in the bottom line and profits, where as with Peter's company it is more on customer service and delivering an excellent service to his clients.
Highly recommend to all.

Moving is always stressful so we had a look around online for a company with good reviews. The Home Removals Company stood out so we got in touch. Peter came to visit us and did a quick scout around to see what needed moving and when we wanted to go and gave us a quote. We then got an email confirmation the next day with all of the details confirming the cost and when it was happening.

Moving day came and we got a call to say they could accommodate us early if we wanted. The guys were there and made light work of it all. Very friendly and professional. The move was really quick and painless and our stuff was on good hands. Peter got in touch a couple of days later to confirm we were happy with everything and process payment. So easy. We sold our place and moved to a rental temporarily, with plans to buy someplace. When we do, we'll be in touch with these guys again. Recommend them - took the stress out of moving and were very professional.

Moving is always a tough time and I spent hours on sites such as this looking at reviews. I went to tender with 3 firms and having met Peter we went with Home Removals - not as 'cheapest option' but in our opinion as the best option. Having used this site to find them I think is only correct to leave a review for others to find afterwards!

They took away all our concerns, explained how the process worked (was our first such big move), the quote was simple and easy to understand (unlike some others) and we felt care and attention from day 1 from initial phone call to set up a home visit and quote until final payment. Peter even came to remove boxes himself after we moved in.

The teams who moved us out and in (we used storage for a month in between which Home Removals arranged) were all highly professional, courteous, friendly and it was a pleasure to have them around for almost 2 half days either side of the move.

I can't recommend the Home Removals Company enough. The whole process was effortless from start to finish. Peter (the owner) was professional and friendly and really flexible and adaptable, especially when I asked for a multi-drop service at short notice. On the day, four guys turned up on time and were extremely friendly and flexible and no issue seemed to big for them and made what is normally a stressful day a breeze! They moved all the furniture and boxes quickly taking extreme care with everything.
I have no doubt in recommending this company for your removal needs and is a company that I will be calling on myself in the future.

I contacted Peter on a recommendation of a friend who had done two removals with him and said they were an excellent company to deal with.
He came to my house and gave me an exact price there and then that he stuck to. On the day of the removal 2 vans and 3 guys turned up on time and ready to work. The guys were superb - very courteous and polite and got the job done quickly and efficiently without pressuring me (I wasn't completely finished packing!)
They are a superb company and I will be recommending them to my friends and will definitely be using them again!
