Sunnyside Removals

We used Sunnyside removals for an upsizing move in December 2020 in the Reading area. We used the packing service and the man who came to pack was polite, friendly and quickly and carefully packed up our belongings. The next day we moved and the men who moved our house were fantastic. There was no breakages or damage to any of our belongings and they were so quick. Using both the packing and removals service made the whole experience pretty stress-free for us and we would like to thank the team. Will be recommending their service.

I cannot praise Sunnyside enough for the smooth and stress free move we made a couple of weeks ago, and in the middle of lockdown.

From the booking to them driving away on moving day, everything went smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. We booked a packing service (highly recommended). The team arrived the morning before move and had loaded the truck to securely store overnight so on the actual move day, there was little to do in the morning.

The moving team were so calm and reassuring and made the move unlike anything we have done before. They were fast and fabulous and we had a good laugh as well. We were also worried about covid, however the worries were unfounded and all precautions taken. Outstanding service. THANK YOU SUNNYSIDE

We recently used Sunnyside for our house move and opted for a full packing service as well. We obtained a quote using their Client House Inventory form due to Covid restrictions. The quote was fair and similar to the other quotes that we got so we had no hesitation. The day before the move, most of our belongings were packed up by a small team who systematically worked through each room. Nothing was damaged and all breakables were protected perfectly. After a full day of packing, the team arrived on our move day to complete the loading and were done by about 11am. As soon as we got our keys at 2pm, we headed to the new house where the Sunnyside team were ready and waiting. They let us have our 'wow' moment with just the family before preparing to unpack. The unload took about 4-5 hours and the team were efficient in getting the boxes & furniture to their correct places. Super friendly and professional service, highly recommended!

As we had a 4 bed house full of stuff we definitely needed the packing service - methodical and careful packing by Zach meant this was pain free and easy for us!

On moving day the crew were calm and experienced, taking the same amount of care at the end of the day as they did first thing in the morning. I especially want to recognise the office team as well as they provided sound advice and clear instructions to us and the crew. Highly recommended for your move be it large or small.

We had a great experience with Sunnyside. From quote, to booking and on the day the team were great. We had a few issues with our buyers solicitors not sending the money over. This meant we did not get the keys to our new property until 1600. I kept Sunnyside up to date and when I arrived at the property they actually had another 3 vans there ready and waiting to help unload. This was amazing as it meant we didn't overrun and face additional charges. I can't recommend the team and company enough.

We recently used Sunnyside for our 3 day move and cannot praise them enough. From obtaining the quote to the actual move, the service was exceptional and we would thoroughly recommend them.

We decided to pack ourselves due to the amount that was to be moved (34 years worth!!). The 3 lads that handled the move over the 3 days were fantastic and were friendly, experienced and very professional. On the 1st day they packed the majority of the house. The 2nd day the remainder of the house, the garage and garden equipment were packed into another van and driven to our new property and unloaded.

The were waiting for us when we arrived and directed us into the house first before they started to unload, so that we could take in the new surroundings and realise that we had just moved to a completely different part of the Country.

They then did an amazing job of unloading and sorting out the essentials before having a 2 -3 hour journey back to Fleet . On the 3rd day the same lads arrived back with the rest of our household having left at 6 in the morning. They swiftly and efficiently unpacked the rest of the house and left us to settle in.

After 2 weeks we are still slowly unpacking and there has not been a single breakage or damaged item. As mentioned, we would thoroughly recommend Sunnyside

Sunnyside helped us move from London SW14 (East Sheen) to Camberley, in a two-stage move which involved our furniture and belongings going into storage with them for just 10 days. Both moves went without hitch, despite snow on the ground the morning of our move-in to Camberley. The teams were efficient, good-natured and polite, wearing masks at all times. And the price for the job was very competitive. We are so pleased we chose Sunnyside and would not hesitate to recommend them!

Sunnyside removals team engaged in the most professional way. The process from quotation, through to the day of removal was well communicated and they showed both understanding and flexibility when our move was delayed. We utilised their storage facility for a few months and again had no issues. On the day of removal their team was exceptionally accommodating in all aspects, and I would thoroughly recommend this company. Sunnyside have now managed two removals on our behalf and on both occasions have exceeded our expectations. Finally, we found their commercial terms to be highly competitive!

We had an offer accepted on a unique property in Basingstoke in June 2021 and decided to move out of our house in Somerset in September, store our furniture and belongings and stay in temporary accommodation until our purchase completed - as it turned out, not until mid January 2022.

Our estate agent had recommended Sunnyside for removals and storage. They supported us from start to finish - the move out, 3 months storage, move in - and did what they said they would do at a reasonable price. Their office team and all of the removal staff were incredibly efficient - and a cheerful bunch too. We would certainly use them again and happily recommend them.

On 25th March Sunnyside Removals moved us from a 2 bedroom house in Surrey to a 4 bedroom house in Hampshire. The team were punctual, very knowledgeable, and friendly. Despite our best efforts we were, on the day, not particularly organised and as ready to go as we should have been. This was no issues to the 3 guys who swiftly got us on track, and worked tirelessly to get everything packed away and packed up with efficiency and care. A well drilled team and service with good humour and a smile. Communication was excellent and they listened and suggested alternatives where appropriate. Nothing was an issue to the team who assisted in dismantling challenging furniture, lifting heavy pieces with some ease, and swiftly assisted with boxes and packing materials. We could not have done it without them. An already stressful day made far easier by a thoroughly professional outfit. Hopefully we will not be moving for a long time to come, but we would use them again and recommend them to anyone!

All our communication with Sunnyside was professional and straightforward. I got frustrated that they wouldn't take my booking until we had completed on our house, but then the date changed so I understand their reasoning!

Plenty of various size boxes and packaging were delivered a day after we confirmed.

On moving day, we had a team of four guys arrive on time who were friendly, energetic and ready to go which was lovely. It was school holidays and they got my two young children completely involved which they loved and 3 weeks on, my youngest still talks about Gary from moving day. They helped make what could have been a stressful day into a fun and exciting day.

They were very patient while we waited for the keys to the next house.

Once received, they put all the boxes in the correct rooms and rebuilt all the beds. Another two guys who had finished a local job early arrived to help finish up.

I am also very pleased to have been contacted about having the boxes collected as I would rather they are reused and it takes another job off my hands.

Sunnyside were also the best by far from a number of quotes and were one of the few companies who came to the house to provide an accurate quote. I would recommend them to anyone.

We engaged Sunnyside for downstairs packing, then moving from Farnborough to Reading. The packer arrived promptly and packed everything (I do mean everything - there were a few things we should have kept out but that’s our fault for not setting them aside!) securely in labelled boxes. On the day, the team worked efficiently to move everything safely and securely, allowing us to clean the house for a better experience for our buyers. They arrived at the new house before we did, and unpacked everything as instructed including reassembling the bed. I was also pleased that they came and collected the boxes for reuse as that’s much more environmentally friendly - I just emailed and they were able to come the next day, even managing to give a time estimate so that we weren’t waiting around for them.

Would definitely use again and will recommend to friends and family moving in the area.

We completed on our sale and purchase on 17th August moving from Fleet to Whitstable.

Sunnyside were superb. The team were excellent both in all the packing and very importantly in the off loading in Kent.

The completion was slightly delayed on the day but this did not seem to concern the team of 4 and everything was completed the following morning as planned.

Nothing was too much trouble and the work ethic was incredible. There had been issues leading up to exchange of contracts and completion, but the move could not have gone more smoothly thanks to the Sunnyside team.
