Simply Moving

This company was recommended by my brother, we used them to move my elderly parents from leicester to sheffield. I cannot praise them highly enough, they were friendly patient and kind with my parents and moved them with efficiency. the fees are extremly resonable and I would recommend them without hesitation. my brother had used them to move from leicester to wales and was extremly pleased with them hence the recommendation to myself. We did have a bit of a communication mix up re the dates but this was sorted with politeness and flexibility. We gave the lads a very good tip because they definately deserved it.

This is the second time we have used this firm. The first, to move my elderly father's belongings to sheltered accommodation in Kent and this time to bring his belongings back as he has moved into a residential care home. This being quite an emotional time, it was great to have such caring and friendly employees who were able to manage the situation in Kent by themselves, while we waited for them in Leicester. Despite the awful travel conditions on the M25, the men arrived fresh and ready to unpack the van and every care was taken with the contents. Highly recommended!

After a difficult exchange which left us with very little time to find a removals firm, I frantically searched the Internet in the hope of finding anyone who could help with less than a week to go! I'm so pleased that I stumbled across Simply Moving, as Martin's first communication put my mind at rest - he was so helpful and reassured us that Simply could fit us in on one of our potential dates (we only had a choice of two!) After confirming, Martin brought round all packing materials we needed on the same afternoon (all at very reasonable rates) which was just fab. The removals team (of 3) on the day were really polite/friendly and highly professional - and so helpful with everything. It really made a stressful experience a whole lot easier!! I can't recommend this firm enough - and their rates are highly competitive too. .

Simply Moving arranged my move with just a few days notice.
The online inventory was clear and useful to estimate costs. My follow up phone calls to a particularly friendly team then clarified the details.
The team confirmed all arrangements in writing, delivered boxes on time, and sent a reminder text with packing tips.
On my move date, the team were efficient and careful. Also polite to me and my new neighbours. No damages.

Excellent professional removals company. We walked around the house with the coordinator and show them what to do. They were very diligent and moved all items from our house in a very speedy but controlled manner. When we arrive to the new house, the checked with us were all the items were meant to stay and they did the work in a professional manner. 2 weeks later, we have unpacked 80% of our boxes and only 1 glass chipped. Fantastic company, would recommend to anyone.

This is the second time we've chosen to use Simply Moving and, again, we were extremely pleased with every aspect of their service. The quote was very reasonable and the admin always polite and efficient. This was an overnight move because of the distance. At both ends, the guys were wonderful: unfailingly courteous, cheerful and friendly. At every moment, they were also hugely willing throughout to do so much more than the minimum. Totally took the stress out of the move for us. Who knew that moving could actually be such a pleasure?!

Great experience from beginning to end. Company was extremely understanding when I couldn't confirm removal dates - I confirmed 48 hours before move. Lisa and Richard in office great. Martin quoted and the quote was competitively priced. The team came the day before the move to pack. Good job done, polite and hardworking guys. Nothing was too much trouble for these guys. They worked as a team. My experience was great from beginning to end. They were not phased when they had to move a windmill which unfortunately had an ants nest in it. They just dealt with the problem without fuss. Martin and his team were reliable, competent, friendly, and professional. I found the service offered by Simply Moving to be professional, friendly and value for money. I would recommend them to anybody. They arrived at that time requested and moved us efficiently in to our new home. This is the first time we have used Simply Moving and it is the first time in 7 moves that we have not suffered any damage to any items! Superb.  
The team of three wre all friendly, thorough and went out of their way to ensure that our requirements were met.

Outstanding.  We would recommend this company.  We were provided with a smooth, efficient service which helped take the stress out of moving house.
We were kept informed as to when the removal vehicles would arrive.  The operatives were very careful with our furniture and very thoughtful about delicate items for example suggesting that we may like to transport these by car.
Our furniture was loaded and our furniture was transported to the new property in 1hr 30m.  Impressive.  At the new property, items were thoughtfully placed so we could 'live' while we unpacked boxes.  One operative even connected our washing machine hoses.
We were delighted with the service we received and will be using this company in the coming year when we move again.

I recently refurbished my house and it was very stressful, I was worried on the day about everything going ok, but there was no need, I received a text to say simply moving were on route, they arrived on time, were very warm and friendly and put me at ease, and they moved everything that I struggled with so easily! They were so fast and dismantled my furniture so quickly but were also so respectful. I used them to bring my goods out of storage also and it was exactly the same. I would most definitely recommend this company, so professional, so good at their job and very reasonably priced! .

Fantastic service. Friendly and professional and at a very competative price. The removal guys did a great job and worked fast. They had the house cleared and the van loaded in no time at all. I felt guilty watching them work but they told me to relax and they would get it all done. They then took everything around to the storeage facility I had rented and unloaded and put everything into the storeage unit I had rented. There was no stress involved and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We were really impressed with the service we got from Simply Moving, from the communication with HQ before the move to moving day itself. We found them to be very competitively priced too, and they actually seemed to have a fair pricing system (some quotes we got from other companies were one price when we enquired online, and another when we called up). It was the first time we had used a removal company- until now, we have always rented a van and done it ourselves. We were so glad we chose Simply Moving as they made everything easy. They packed our belongings efficiently and quickly and kept us explained every step in the process (like how things were packed, how it would be unpacked, and how long things would take). They took great care of everything, but took special steps to protect the items we told them were particularly important to us. We actually think they went above and beyond, as they spent a good 30 mins (or more, come to think of it) trying to get our awkwardly-shaped sofa into our new flat and not wanting to give up, even when we told them to! (We always suspected it might not fit!) Spencer and Nathan were lovely to deal with, very helpful and couldn't have made things easier for us. In general, we can't recommend them enough. We had a very good experience of using this company.

I have recommended this company to family and friends.
The full pack service was very efficient and we were moved in a day. They arrived on time and were packed up within 5 hours which was very good considering the amount of stuff that we have.  We have not found any breakages yet, and most things seemed to be wrapped really well.  
We did not opt for the unpacking service but I think that I might consider this if we move again, as we still have a lot of boxes still to unpack.

David and his 2 guys were excellent throughout the move. Couldn't fault them for anything, fast, hard working and efficient. Also a great price. Have recommended them to a family member already.  
When it came to packing our stuff they were very considerate and thoughtful. Nothing was damaged and nothing was too much trouble for them. They even provided mobile wardrobes for our clothes and were kind enough to go back for a lawn mower after unloading all our items, despite not being on the job list.
I will definitely use these guys again for any removal work.

Simply Moving, do exactly that.
They came on time, had protectors for the floor, had mobile wardrobes for us to fill and worked diligently to load They then travelled direct to new house and unloaded efficiently as planned and promised. The 3 men were polite, friendly and helpful throughout.
All this is as you expect and hope for, but the real joy in this is, they did all this at several hundreds of pounds less than any other quote we received.

The gents from Simply Moving were absolute troopers on the day. Arrived on time and were very quick and efficient. Their attitude was faultless, and they really guided us through what could have been an extremely stressful day.

We probably weren't as well prepared as we could have been, but the staff were brilliant at helping us organise the last few items to get the house ready for handing on to our buyers.

I would recommend Simply Moving without any hesitation.
