I would definately recommend Relocate Removals co ltd. We had to have a 2 day move as I had so much furniture,paintings and china to be removed. The team were friendly,helpful and considerate. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They arrived on the first day on time and took 90% into storage and left us the essentials for a peaceful night,They returned the next day,again on time, to take the remainder. They delivered to our new home and managed to deliver everything promptly and without any damages.
They all had excellent people skills and were very accomodating. We had to move with two young children and although they had to wait until I could get the keys they were very patient and speedy with moving our belongings into our new home.If ever I need to move again I would definately use this company again.

We were moving virgins and the thought of going through this process was very daunting. Relocate Removals were great, they answered all our queries, whether they were minor or not. On the move day the chaps turned on-time, we explained what was where and were most helpful throughout asking us questions when needed. Everything was moved with care and we hadn’t quite packed everything and the chaps helped us with that. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking to move.

Would not recomend this company,Three very embaressed men turned up on the morning of the move with a luton style van, when I said that it was to small they agreed and said that they would do two trips not pleased with that my husband went to speak to Bill who was rude and was told that he was let down with a lorry and he would pack our belongings in a container in his yard. The men got on with the packing (must say very nice and polite). About Two hours later a large lorry turned up half empty with someone elses belongings on and packed some of our furniture onto it saying that this lorry was supposed to be for us and the other one for them. Unbeen known to me the driver of the large lorry said to my husband would it be alright if he dropped our garden belongings off at the new property on the drive of which he said that would be ok. On the way to the new property I got a phone call from my daughter to say that our belongings which consisted of a freezer, electricals and other valubles were on the drive and it was raining, my daughter said to the removal men that were sitting in the small lorry reading newspapers that they should do something as all the furniture was getting very wet. One of the men said they did not have anything to put over it and asked her if she had some sheets to put over the electricals which she did. I feel that they took my money and did not care. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We moved from one part of London to another. We selected Relocate Removal after carefully considering other companies. Their professionalism, option to negotiate prices, supply of boxes, and willingness to disassemble and assemble - all for a decent cost was what made us choose this company. Unfortunately, after the initial assessment the professionalism vanished. They provided us with about 40 strong boxes which was great which ensured we could pack. The transaction was straight forward too and they were easy to contact during the moving period. They arrived early to our property - for whatever odd reason chose not to park on our drive even though there was plenty of space and then refused to start because they were blocking the road. This could have all been avoided had they parked on our drive. Surely, the person who made the initial assessment could see that - we even verified with him when he came. Once they started, they moved our items efficiently in their appropriately sized vehicle. Within 2 hours they had completed the transportation of our items to their truck which was impressive, and disassembled our items. What we didn't like was that they dragged our one seat sofa out effectively damaging the leather instead of just lifting it. They also refused to use our TV box to transport our new TV - even though this had been agreed with the initial assessor. At the new property, they transported our items efficiently again putting them in the right rooms generally speaking. However they did not reassemble our items properly. For example they assembled our beds incorrectly which led to two being left broken - we only realised this when we sat on them. These were not difficult to assemble - we assembled them at our old property ourselves without problems!! They also refused to reassemble my wardrobe because it was too weak apparently. I had to call a handyman to put it together who did so without any problems (except for putting in an additional few screws at the back - screws we could have given them if they asked for them). They then refused to move our one seat sofa into the property because it was too big without actually property trying. They assumed it could not be disassembled when it could and after strong arguments they finally transported it inside. Finally, they left a lot of scratch marks on the wooden floor. Overall, they performed the job efficiently and it was nice for them to provide us lots of boxes for no charge. However, their lack of integrity and honesty, as well as laziness to reassemble our items means they have left an extremely negative image of themselves. We have no intention of using their company ever again. The company's manager was extremely rude and did not listen to our concerns during and after the move.

My mother picked relocate removals because of the quote and excellent customer service. Sadly that's where the good points ended before they had emptied her house they held their hand out for a tip, but not to tell Bill the boss.
The removal guys language was blue and fowl throughout the move, complaints about the boxes and the amount to be moved, she was charged for the use of two vehicle's in spite of the fact that they used just one.
Half way through unloading the lorry, the team of guys started claiming that it was getting too late to unload the lorry at 3:30 pm? Then for no reason Bill, the boss phoned to inform us that the removal would have to be spread to a second day, of course, this was and extra charge! He asked my mother to pass the phone over to one of his team on the ground as he needed to speak to him, the up shot of the conversation which we could hear was that on no circumstances were they to continue to unload the vehicle until another payment had been made for over night storage, with that my mother was left with only half her belongings the other half including her medicine which was important for her health and bedclothes were kept from her! Come the second day the rest of her belongings were finally unloaded but with £3000,00 worth of damage and a lot of trauma which they seem to enjoy giving her by finding it funny that they had broken a lot of her belongings!
I her son did telephone and complain to the firm, sadly not getting pass the customer service team on the phone.
My mother has since sent them pictures for an insurance claim, which ironically only gets her £50 per item damaged as long as you can prove it!!
Avoid this company at all costs.

Dear madam/sir

My husband and I had a major problem with our removal today. We had the removals arranged with RR Range Relocations. When this was arranged we told exactly what we were moving (around 30 boxes, one chest of drawers, one light ikea book rack and a shoe cabinet), the collection and delivery addresses, and all was fine. He said he would need parking in both ends, and that was made available to him.

Today, two men came into the flat. They arrived just before 9am looking very tired and asking for coffee. In 1h30min the stuff was on the lorry (way too big for our needs), and there they went.

We left 20 min later and arrived at the flat in Bristol 1h30min earlier than them. They parked the lorry on the other side of the road, perhaps 5 meters away from our driveway. Lee, the man who looked like the boss, was beside himself! He starting accusing us of not having made sure that there was parking for the lorry! There was more than enough space! He was quite abusive, very aggressive toward my husband. And then drove away with our stuff. To be honest, we go the feeling that he was in a hurry and unwilling to do the job.

Later, he called me with a “solution" that would imply a significant increment to the already expensive cost that he quoted of £700, and he would return to Bristol another day with a van, which he would have to hire, and we’d have to pay for. When I challenged him, saying that he should assume part of the responsibility for the “mishap”, he literally became furious, abusive. He told me we would have to get our stuff, which would be stored in an undisclosed location; and eventually ended the phone call without even telling me how to get hold of my items.

Following to this, I texted him asking for the location of my items and he sent me this reply:

”I’ll wait to hear from your solicitors
We won’t release until we are paid what we are owed
Send our details to your legal team
As stated short term storage is £75 per night
Without prejudice
R R”

I called the police, who will address the aggressive and abusive behaviour, but they cannot address the fact that he has our property. I was advised to speak with a solicitor, which we will.

I found it very hard to write this review. It's now more than three months since we moved (14 August) and I was hoping the whole thing would fade into the past. It hasn't, so perhaps telling the story will help.
I selected Relocate Removals mainly on the strength of their reviews. They even knocked £50 of their price to match my cheapest quote, so I felt pretty confident.
To be fair, it was a lousy day. Steady, heavy rain both ends of the journey which involved the infamous north-western section of the M25 and the full length of the M3. But the three guys seemed willing, cheerful hard-workers and the contents of our house and shed were soon loaded. My wife and I did our best to help by getting things moved to the door to avoid too much mess in the house, as we wanted to leave it clean for the new owners.
Our departure was delayed over two hours getting my insurances transferred to the new address, so I was worried the van would arrive before us, but quite surprised to find we had passed them even before we left the M25. I now wonder now where they had been.
Unloading in pouring rain was no fun for them either, but most of the forty or so boxes went into the garage, to be sorted later. (We'd labelled them with some description of content to help identification.) It wasn't until after they'd gone that I found one of them had got my wife to sign their chit saying the truck was empty. (She's only five feet tall and the truck had no ramp, so she could only peer into the body from the side door.) So the job of sorting our new home began.
Quite soon I realized my step ladder was missing. A nuisance, but no significant value. Then we found we'd lost a largish framed mirror that had hung over the fireplace. We were fond of this and had intended to have it in the living room when we had redecorated. I thought they must have been left behind so emailed our buyers. Unfortunately I got no response for a couple of days, when they confirmed the house had been empty. When I contacted Relocate I was informed that I had no claim as more than 24 hours had passed, they promised to inquire but I've heard nothing. Over the next few days it became apparent that at least one box had gone missing. Nothing of great value, but it included some trinkets which we had been given by friends, so irreplaceable.
The worst blow came when we realized one of our pictures was missing. It came from my grandparents, and I have childhood memories of it in their house. It's an amateur oil, on wood, probably done in between the wars, of a local street view in my (and their) home town in Dorset. The view was taken from an early Victorian photograph which had turned up and was reprinted in the local paper. I doubt you'd get £25 for it on ebay, but it's the only item of my grandparents that I had. That hurts, but so does the realization that three guys I took as willing hard workers must actually be petty pilferers.
The missing items probably wouldn't make much over £100 at a car boot sale. The gaps in our lives hurt very much more than that!
Use Relocate Removals at your peril, I will certainly never go near them again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

My parents used this company recently to move them. What a mistake. They packed a box that my mum didn't want which had money in it. Unfortunately because of a bank/key issue they had to take my parents stuff into storage as it went past 5pm. Which my parents were charged £850!! for the pleasure. Anyway when they returned the next day after everything was dropped off they found that the money over £400 in money and coins had vanished. And a very nice bathroom mirror has gone too. The company are not accepting any responsibility which is ridiculous as it was in their possession. Damage to property and furniture is acceptable but THEFT!

They have lost my business and my in-laws and hopefully a lot more if this is how they conduct business. This isn't over by a long shot!
