We paid for a two-day move, but, on the day, the team insisted completing in one day, so we had to rearrange work to cater for them. To rush the job, they wanted to move all of our belongings into the garage of our new house rather than into designated rooms, and they argued when we told them no. Several items of furniture were damaged, and the process for making a claim is very time-consuming (you have to send photos and quotes for repair by post). Our bannister was damaged as witnessed by my husband, but the team denied this and claimed it was damaged before the move. Team were rude on the day - rolling their eyes and tutting when we were checking the house prior to signing the forms (because they wanted to get going quickly). Team arrived with no tools so had to borrow ours (which had to be unpacked), and they refused to move items to the garden shed as they had not brought floor covers with them. They are very persistent in demanding all money before completing the job but mysteriously difficult to get hold of when you want to complain (one week - no reply). All in all, they made the process of moving very difficult, and I would recommend you steer well clear!

Wonderful, stress free move by nice, homely people, looking out for my best interests and reasonably priced. Out of all of the Removal Companies, I called, they were the nicest at the first point of contact. I felt confident, from that point on that I was with the right Firm and I was. I had to book removals only 2 weeks before and left much to chance in relation to Lorry size. Most other removal Firms, I spoke to needed a list of everything, which seemed an impossible task. I found most couldn't be bothered at my attempts to tell them everything to be be removed and the ones that were polite made it all seem like a huge and very expensive job. Relocate Removals were a breath of fresh, estimating my load to fit in with their Luton van. After I'd finished my packing, I estimated that not everything would fit in a Luton and just 2 days before, I called for a larger lorry.  This was quickly resolved for me with the extra payment which was still very reasonable being made over the phone. Thank goodness for Relocate Removals for my move.

My move from Barking to Dagenham in October 2013 went very smoothly thanks to the hard work and expertise of the three enterprising young men who were friendly, polite and quick thinking. From the outset nothing was too much trouble and although inspite of some traffic problems which were beyond their control, not a moment was wasted, ensuring that I was able to keep to my schedule with no difficulty whatsoever. There were some awkward moments when certain items like my piano and heavy metal desk which could not be taken through the front door - were immediately brought in through the rear of the property which was quite a distance. The way the porch doors were positioned presented limited access but this was easily resolved by the young men adjusting the doors. The young men were full of fun which made the whole move a lot less stressful and their humour was quite entertaining! From the company's handling of the initial telephone enquiry by my mother to the swift unloading of my home contents at my new address, I was most impressed with their professionalism throughout. .

I would like to thank Relocate Removal Co Ltd for the friendly efficient manor they carried out our move. No breakages, they looked after our belonging like they were their own. We could not have asked for more. They were on time. They were very friendly. They introduced themselves on a first name basis Ben & Tony. They were very organised & put us at easy straight away. We were very stressed leading up to the move but we need not have bothered everything was in hand. Thanks again Relocate. I would certainly recommed you to anyone! I'll keep this short. I was quoted a price for my removal, my removal being a 3 bed house, there was quite a bit to move and the company knew this. The day of the moves arrives and shock horror they send a small Luton van. Now here is where the con comes in. Your back is up against the wall and you have no alternative. The owner of Relocate removals call you and says there is nothing he can do. Bill the unprofessional con artist then suggest getting another vehicle at additional cost to you. You have no other choice but to agree. So your reasonable removal costs are now almost doubled. If you are unfortunate and can't stump up the money extra money, you're stuffed!
So in a nut shell these Essex wide boys will have you over in one way or another. Do not be seduced by their leaflets they drop around to every house displaying a sale board. Do not use them!
They will send removal men who claim to also be victims of their boss and will side with you as part of the act. I fell for it out of desperation. You can't blame the removal guys as the rot starts with the director of Locate Removals.
Check reviews before using any removal company.

Hope this helps someone out there. I just now hope after they read my review, this firm don't send some one round to break my legs.

Relocate Removals were great.  Dealings with the office before removal could not be faulted.  The removal van turned up on time (in fact, a few minutes early) and, on a day with temperatures of 27 degrees, the men worked quickly, efficiently and with good humour and thoughtfulness.  All items were packed without problems and no item was broken on arrival.  Parking at the new address was not easy but they managed, somewhow, to manouver the van so that they could unpack without too much trouble. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I looked online for cheap removals. I had 3 replies although I could have had more. The 3 companies sent a representative to view my property and offer quotes. I asked all 3 for advice on moving my large fishtank. The gentleman from RELOCATE REMOVALS gave the best advice. Their quote was not the cheapest but I was impressed by their professionalism. I ended up waiting for some time before I had a moving date, called up in a panic as I then had 2 weeks in which to get everything done. I received boxes from them the same day. On moving day I was extremely stressed. My son was moving himself out so this added to the chaos. The team from RELOCATE took it all in their stride. I had a huge van and they filled every inch very efficiently. Waiting at the other end for keys, they set to and unloaded all my garden bits. My big settee posed a real problem but the men were determined and eventually they got it in. From start to finish everyone was amazing, a very experienced, hard working team. I cannot praise them enough; SIMPLY THE BEST.

I quoted few companies, but this is the only one that send one person to come to our place and after send us their quote. The communication with the office over the phone was excellent, if I had questions they could't answer straight away they always called back. On the day of our stressfull move the removal men(x3) came early than agreed, which is great, started to move stuff to the van and after 2,5 hours were ready to go to new place. Unfortunately because of solicitors mistake we wasn't able to move in to our new house that day, and literally end up homeless for the night, with two small kids. The removal company was really supportive throughout this stressful time, they waited with us all day and at the end of the day they took our stuff to their storage and came back the next day. They did charge us extra money which is understandable. The next day they been here on time, took all the stuff to the correct rooms and even managed to get our sofa to the room without damaging it, I should say that wasn't easy. Thank you relocate removals, we would use your service again but we hoping we would not need it in the nearest future.

We found the removers friendly and very helpful.  They were always on time and extremely efficient in all their work. They were considerate and always ready to listen.  The speed of their work was most impressive and we were amazed, on opening the boxes at their destination, how beautifully and carefully everything was packed.  The boxes were clearly marked, making it easy to know which rooms the contents came from.  We are still unpacking boxes and, so far, nothing has been damaged or missing.   The cost of the whole operation was very pleasantly surprising and the materials used of really good quality.  The care taken with small, delicate articles was very much appreciated.  We truthfully cannot rate all the work highly enough.   We would like to send our thanks and best wishes to the team involved.       .

The salesman /estimator Bernhard was very knowledgeable and confidence inspiring. We chose RR based on this, even though they were not the cheapest quote we received. They moved us to Daventry from London over 2 days using a large lorry and a Luton transit. The first day packing seemed to go well.
Day 2:
The Luton had a crash on the way and our stuff had to be rescued from the damaged van by the lorry, which caused a delay.
Various items were broken including our dining table and a number of items were lost through this happening.
Although the removal men said that the office would sort out payment for any damage, this proved not to be the case as they will not pay out for anything under £500, even though there was presumably a vehicle insurance claim made.

There seemed to be problems contacting the vans due to mobile phone signals, which made communications difficult.

We had been told that portable wardrobe containers would be used for our clothes, but found a number of suits pushed into normal packing boxes still on the hangers and ended up very creased.

The company were unable to get our piano into the room we wanted it to go into, even though a similar one had just been moved out of the same room. In the end we had to get a piano removal company in, who did the job in 5 minutes.

I think our move became too complicated for the Relocate Removal Company and the office were not helpful when things went wrong. The accident was probably bad luck, but I would advise you not to use them if you have a piano.

I used Relocate Removals after meeting Bernard and being convinced by his patter that they were a good company to go with. I had 2 large sofas to move from the second floor. I informed Bernard at our initial meeting that the arms would have to come off in order for the sofas to go down the stairs without causing any damage. On the day the movers decided not to take the arms off that the 2 seater sofa and ended up breaking a window on the landing whilst trying to get it down the stairs. However, they didn't seem to think that this was their fault and suggested that it wasn't a problem as the property was owned by the Council and they would pay for the window. Not the case as being a leaseholder I was responsible for repairing the window. I informed Relocate and was told to present them with a bill which I did. They then informed me that they would not be presenting it to their insurers as it didn't meet the criteria. They also damaged the walls of the stairwell, something which I will also have to pay for.

But maybe it was a good thing they didn't remove the arms of the 2 seater sofa because in reassembling the 3 seater they damaged the arm. However, as I didn't notice this until days later it was too late to do anything about it (Relocate state you must inform them within 48 hours of any damage).

Have to say, not impressed at all with the service and certainly would not recommend to anyone.

We were given a quote for packing, removal and unpacking after 3 visits. We accepted it and the dates as well as the number of persons who would carry out the tasks were agreed.However, on the day when our possessions were to be packed, only two of the four promised staff turned up two hours late and after several follow ups. The owner of the company was rude, uncouth, aggressive, put the phone down on us. We ended up paying substantial money to the greatly underpaid staff who complained endlessly about the owner. The packing which was supposed to be done in one day, took two days and we had to pay extra money to all the additional staff who were sent to help. We were charged an additional £180 by the owner (Bill Conlon).

Despite our generosity, we were distressed that a lot of our possessions, mainly alcoholic drinks, an expensive watch, an expensive pen, exclusive chocolates etc were stolen.
The insurance does not kick in for first £500 and we did not get any compensation.

A very stressful experience which we will never forget and would not wish anyone else to have.

This company does not deserve to survive.

Relocate Removals moved us on 07.11.11 with packing and unpacking service and everything went without any problems.
We found the office and removal staff extremely professional in every thing they did, nothing was too much trouble for them. Bill Conlon (Manager) should be very proud of his staff and the way they conduct themselves, in and out of the office.

We have no hesitation in recommending this company to family and friends, and if we decide to move again, they will be the ones we choose.

The 3 drivers arrived half an hour early and waited outside, until they felt we were happy for them to commence.

All the drivers were all very energetic,helpful and careful with our personal belongings,& basically told us not to lift things,that is what they were here for,they just needed our assistance with where to place items.

Every effort was made, to ensure all our household items,were stacked into the correct position for safety and to ensure that all the items in our house would fit correctly.

We would strongly recommend this company,from start to finish,they offered us a friendly and efficient service,from the sales guy,to the phone calls in the office making the booking,right up till the last item was offloaded from our vehicle into our new home!

It was the best £600.00 we have ever spent,& worthwhile, as having a removal company,saved us a lot of time,as literally unpacked all our boxes within 48 hrs,so we felt very at home more or less straight away.

They say moving is the most stressful thing we will do in our lifetime. Relocate made the whole process very relaxed. the team of four were professional, helpful and nothing was to much for them when we asked a question or needed some extra help. They were very quick and thorough and you could tell they knew what they had to do. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company, brilliant, 10 out of 10 (still can't believe one of them took three sugars in his tea!

We were most impressed with the efficiency of Jim, Tony and Nigel on the day of our move. Three most affable guys,and we would most certainly recommend them to our friends. The bacon rolls we fed them with must have helped!

Unfortunately, when we arrived in Suffolk (from Enfield),our vendors hadn't moved out so there was a considerable delay. This did not phase our three chaps.
