Brilliant crew they were so efficient and friendly they didn't mess about they got straight to work and didn't stop until the job was finished. I couldn't have asked for a better team they were fantastic!

I chose Otex international because the reviews on the website were really good, the costing was very reasonable in fact it was cheaper than I expected as I had a more expensive quote from a local company from Rhyl North Wales, so I decided to go with a local company .A really good service provided I was pleasantly surprised as you don't really know what to expect, they talked me through what I needed to know and all information was relevant to me. I would just like to compliment you on all the staff that I dealt with everyone knew what they were doing and everyone was very professional and friendly I was extremely impressed with the service. Thank you for making my move stress free.

Can I recommend that a contents lists is attached to the front of the boxes [when using the packing service]. I appreciate that you re-use the boxes and do not want to deface them but faced with unpacking lots of boxes that you do not know what is inside is daunting . As my house was smaller than the one I had left, I instructed your packers to pile the boxes up in the garage. The briefest description was written on the cello tape on top of each box, so obviously I could not possibly know what was in each box as they were piled on top of each other. I have no complaints about your packers, I assume they did what they were trained to do. The team were very professional but friendly and efficient. They wouldn't let us lift anything - if we did they took it from us and told us "we'll do that for you". The team made it as stress free as possible for us.

The three removal crew excellent, I was at our new address which meant that my wife was alone during the loading of your vehicle. They made sure that she was happy with all aspects of the moving and loading of our furniture.
They would move our furniture without any problems. Professionalism in moving our possessions.
I would recommend Otex or any company that is associated with them to anyone that is moving home. They arrived to collect our furniture bang on time, travelled over 250 miles and arrived to unload bang on time. This is a professional company from the answering of our initial enquiry to unloading the last box off the vehicle.

OTEX is cheap and you'll discover why. Although the team work very hard they had not been allocated sufficient time to do the work properly so they cut corners. Boxes were not labelled clearly; boxes were not allocated to the right rooms; books were thrown into boxes and damaged; carpets were left filthy; the lawns were driven over by the lorries hence I had to have them totally re-done. While I applaud the team they should have been allocated more staff or time (what happened was not what the surveyor promised).

I would like to describe my experience with OTEX with one simple word; FANTASTIC. The movers were extremely professional. I was very nervous about my move initially because of the distance involved and the amount of stuff I had which included few of the valuables which I inherited from my parents. I took the option of full packing and unpacking service and everything was packed in a secure and professional manner and unpacked exactly as I wanted. Thank you so much for everything.

I could write a much longer narrative behind this, but in summary we paid for a full packing service, but ended up needing to pack at least half of our own items and dismantling all furniture - even then we were out of the house 4 hours late. It has taken since November (now 4th Feb) for me to get any sort of refund on this packing service. Messages to customer service not returned, emails ignored/not responded to. Even when we had agreed a partial refund (to which I agreed as I had lost the will to argue further), this took 14 days to be paid and only following numerous calls/messages (all messages left bar one email were ignored).

The attitude of the 'customer service' was very poor. Instead of seeking to resolve the issue they tried to blame me for the delayed removal (they specified the move/how long it would take/packing materials needed and I showed them ALL of my items, inside all cupboards etc.) They offered token and very insincere apologies for why things had taken so long and appeared to lack any comprehension of the difficulties and frustration they had caused. Very poor - use them if you must and I hope your experience is better.

Service cost: £990

Really poor service from OTEX. They weren't the cheapest option but we went with them because we wanted a professional service with no fuss, and initial contact (including when someone came round to give a quote) was slick and reassuring.

The actual move was the complete opposite, however. The day before the move, we were cajoled into paying for an additional man for the team because we couldn't be 100% that the lift in our new place would be working.

The team that turned up were careless in packing and moving, with walls scratched ('oh but the corridors are so narrow' - they're not narrow at all), a dish broken ('oh but we wrapped it in paper') and the flooring in our old place torn when the bed was lifted ('oh but it must have been torn before' - it certainly wasn't).

After speaking to them on the phone and following up with an email four weeks ago, I still haven't heard back about how they intend to compensate us for any of this.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: £750

We had their surveyor come round to the house to assess the amount of stuff we had to move. Since his visit we got rid of more than 10% of the amount. Yet the surveyor still vastly underestimated the van space required. They brought 2 small vans to do the job (I didn't care how big they were, as long as they did the job). But the 2 vans were too small, and I had to wait at the house being moved from for 4 hours while they went to the new property and unloaded 1 van hurriedly into the garage, then drove back to collect the remainder. In that time I had to empty the remainder of the house into the garden (as the new occupants were moving in). It wasn't their fault it was raining, but it didn't help! It annoyed me, as I had paid for them to do all the work. When they returned, they did not bring any tools with them, so could not remove the expensive curtains I had in my lounge and dining room. Nor could they dismantle the children's play house. This took up a lot of room, so despite my warning, they ripped it apart to get it into the van easier. I was not happy. I have contacted the company to complain, and they are ignoring me. I have since discovered that some of my plant pots are broken, and they broke a double bed frame when dismantling it - but did not tell me. I spoke to the company to clarify a few points (waiting time charges, damage to property, insurance cover) and was told very different things to what actually appeared in the contract. When I queried it, they were very rude. That said, they seemed to pack most of the items quite well. They worked hard, finishing late in the evening, and were polite. Would I recommend them - definitely no!! Don't fall for them!!

I have used Otex International Removal Company for my house move. I used full pack and move option. I found the company is reliable and provided very good services throughout. At the day of my move movers arrived at 09:00 and made packing nicely and moved my stuff to my new property safely. About 18:00 my move was completed and I paid the amount I agreed.
This is the second time I have moved in two years. Compare to previous removal company Otex service was much better and cost effective. I hope they continue providing same standard service to other users.
