Moving Home Made Easy

Excellent customer service, very helpful, reliable and professional. Our home move could not have gone any better and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We were impressed!

We contacted Moving Made Easy after being let down by one of the 'big national' removal companies. The removal companies were very busy during lockdown and our usual 'big national' removal company wasn't very accommodating or flexible (I thought it was part of the process that moving dates have to be flexible until all missives are signed!). They didn't seem to care.

So we did some research on local companies and decided to give Moving Made Easy a try. The MD, David Reed, emailed us back promptly and also phoned us to arrange a date to visit and quote which he also did promptly. David was very personable, professional and accommodating. We arranged a full packing service for the day before the move and asked for most items to also be loaded the day before so that the rest could be done quickly on moving day. We also asked for a couple of hours to clean our new home before the vans were unloaded on moving day, which the guys were happy to do. Everything went to plan as asked! We were very impressed. The packing and moving team were friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble and it made the whole process as stress free as possible. Customer service must be a priority with this company.

And after the move the guys came back to collect boxes and packing materials on a couple of occasions when asked.

The price was similar to the 'big national' companies which we initially questioned. But they were more accommodating and their service is as good if not better, so we're happy we gave this local Glasgow company a chance. They are expanding so will probably soon become one of the nationals soon. I just hope they keep their excellent customer service policy.

We would definitely use them again.

Moving Home Made Easy were fantastic. Our move was unfortunately delayed twice but David at MHME was very responsive and flexible. On the day of the actual house move, the MHME was in and out in around an hour and half for a 2 bedroom, 2 storey flat, and dismantling the bed. The team were great on the other end, putting all our boxes exactly where needed them, putting the bed back together, and even moving the furniture around for us. We would definitely use Moveing Home Made Easy for removals again in the future and recommend them.

David was great to work with - he quickly gave me a quote, and we arranged the date and time. His team turned up at the scheduled time and place, collected the furniture to be moved, and delivered it to me. I was particularly pleased that his team had carefully wrapped the furniture in polythene bags to protect it. And they delivered it carefully and gently. It couldn't have gone more smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to use Moving Home Made Easy the next time.

Couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Moving Home Made Easy and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We had several large pieces of BoConcept furniture which they meticulously wrapped to protect it in transit which arrived in perfect condition at the other end.

Nothing was too much hassle for the team on the day, who effortlessly carried our belongings up several flights of stairs carefully, including a heavy exercise bike.

They provided packing materials a week or two before the move as we opted to pack ourselves, although they do offer a packing service.

In short, don’t hesitate to use them if you’re looking to ensure your items are carefully moved.

Recently moved from a top floor flat to a house & really pleased with this company. Great communication throughout the whole process. Good price for the service which includes a lot of things that others charge extra for. Detailed & easy to read leaflets which also contain handy tips. The team were all very friendly, polite & professional especially during COVID. They worked very hard and were quick too. All of our items arrived safely in the new house. I would recommend this company for others.

I cannot recommend this service highly enough. The team were super efficient, conscientious, and an absolute pleasure to work with. The communication in the lead up to the move was superb, and the team couldn’t do enough to help in terms of supplying boxes, tape and bubble wrap in advance. On the day of the move, they arrived on time, and took extra care when moving our belongings. The team are super friendly and ensure you are informed every step of the way. Wouldn’t hesitate to use this service again. 10/10.

I cannot recommend Moving Home Made Easy enough. In all honesty, we debated for about two weeks spending the money (we all know the friend who can drive a rental truck or the ever present Gumtree ads...). I am SO GLAD WE DID. They were always immediately available, patient with my endless questions (I’ve had some traumatic moves!), and very clear about what to expect. They were even flexible when we had to move early. They arrived within 3 minutes of the time we’d set and were rapid and efficient. The guys were all so nice and listened to my direction without having to ask again (particularly important when leaving a partially furnished flat). The move was super quick and easy - I had no anxiety about my fragile items, having seen the care they took from the beginning. Pick them - it’s so worth it. If you’re like me and have terrible luck, trust that this will be the most seamless part of the moving process.

Recently used for a local move in the West end of Glasgow. From first home visit to the last box delivered the team were great!

Team arrived on time, took great care in wrapping and then moving the furniture and were loaded in no time. We were certain our couch was not going to fit in our new home, however the expert carefully manoeuvred it and got all furniture in with ease.

Would definitely recommend and will be using them again for any future moves.

Great service from first contact up to and beyond the day of the move! Clear communication and rapid responses to enquiries at every stage. Meticulous attention to detail when planning a complex move requiring some large furnishings to go into storage. David and Colin, along with the friendly, efficient team on the day really did make our move easy for us, despite delays and uncertainties arising from the circumstances of our house purchaser. We had quotes from several companies, but MHME stood out because they took the time to properly assess and plan the job, fully taking account of our circumstances. We did most of our own packing but every box and item was carefully handled and placed in the specified room at destination. Recommended to us by our nephew, we would recommend to you!

This company provided a great and responsive service from the outset. Plus everyone we met and / or spoke to at the company - directors, office support staff, those doing the actual move and additional driver were all extremely friendly, helpful, calm and professional - all much appreciated! The detailed quote was spot-on re: amount of van space needed for everything and their price was very competitive. We were moving 400 miles and the logistics and timings all went to plan. One note for anyone thinking of booking this company, when they arrived to uplift our stuff they immediately set to work and were fast with no hanging around - so be ready! Many thanks for making our moving home so easy.

On our initial meeting with David Reed he explained everything in detail regarding our move. The day previous to our move Alan Strickland and his team came and did our packing for us. On the day of the removal they arrived promptly and loaded everything quickly and efficiently. Despite a significant delay in us receiving the keys for our new property they were understanding and unloaded everything carefully to the designated areas. The service we received from this company was exemplary and well deserving of 5*

Really pleased with the service we got from Moving Home Made Easy. The team turned up at 7am and were very easy to deal with (around 10-12 men and 4 vans). They worked around us as there were some areas that we still had to pack up. They efficiently boxed up our fragile items in the kitchen, beds, mirrors and TVs and had areas cleared quickly to allow a cleaning service to be carried out from 9am.

I honestly could not fault the team in the work they carried out and how polite and efficient they were in doing it. They had our house all loaded into the vans by 11am.

We got our keys at 3.30pm and they turned up promptly to offload all items to our new house. Again they were very polite and more than happy to be directed to where each of the items were to be placed.

Would definitely recommend! Thank you for everything you did for us yesterday!

If anyone is looking for a removal or storage company then I would 100% recommend this company. From my very first phone call to David ive had world class service. I used them for a flat removal to my new property and I also used their storage units for almost three years and I can honestly say I have never met such a lovely professional helpful honest company. They go above and beyond in every aspect of their service. They treat your possessions with the upmost care amd the removal stress was literally taken away instantly. They also provide packing materials for you which is a huge help. No other company is as helpful and professional as this one. They are extremely reasonably priced as well and nothing is too much trouble for them. Great company and I have recommended them.to many friends and family. If I ever need a removal company again I will definitely be using them again. Many thanks to David and his amazing team.

From the first consultation I had confidence in this company. Of the quotes I received, theirs was in fact the highest, but the questions they asked about specific items of furniture and advice they offered on preparing for the day convinced me that it was worth paying a little extra to have the job done right. Come the day of the move, the team was organised and efficient with a great work ethic and it was obvious they wanted to take good care of all items. We don't plan on moving again soon, but if we do we will definitely use them again, and if anyone we know is planning to move we will be sure to recommend Moving Home Made Easy.
