Moving Home Made Easy

Research has shown that moving home is more stressful than a relationship breakdown, divorce or even a new job so I was expecting the worst when I moved on the 23rd August. Working with Moving Home Made Easy, certainly took the stress out of the move, and if fact, the team were fantastic. From the initial meeting with David Reed, the preparation for me with additional wardrobe boxes delivered ahead of time, and the service on the day was nothing short of outstanding. The team were on time, efficient, friendly and respectful with all my things and myself from start to finish. What a lovely team of hard working gentleman.

To finish off the service, there was an error in my acceptance contract that the washing machine was to be included, which I didn't know about and took my machine with me to my new home. As a result, the new owners requested it back. I contacted David and he came out of his way to collect the washing machine, pick up all the boxes, and delivered back to the owners free of charge from Ayrshire to Glasgow. Outstanding service and without doubt, made my move easy. Highly recommend David, Alan and all the great team at Moving Home Made Easy - Anne B.

David and his team get a 100% rating from us.

From the first visit through the final wave goodbye the whole service was outstanding. Brilliant communication, brilliant working methods. What impressed me most initially was the thoroughness and careful attention that was paid to drawing up the inventory. Everything was accounted for and a really clear outline of the process was offered. With the move itself, the team were really friendly and helpful, making sure to ask questions when anything needed clarification and treating every item with genuine care. The install was seamless. The team were so efficient, quickly gaining an understanding of the site and setting up a smooth working process. The job was done in no time. Everything arrived without a mark and because of the careful packing and labelling, we were able to find everything easily. Moving can be so stressful with these guys all the hassle was taken out of it. Genuinely, can’t recommend them enough!

We moved house from Glasgow Southside to Renfrewshire last week. David and his team are first class professionals. Everything was assessed and explained clearly and a competitive quote provided. A team of seven men arrived early morning. They were extremely polite and very respectful of our belongings. Communication was excellent throughout. Our flat was thoroughly cleaned afterwards as part of the service. At our new home we experienced a similar high level of quality and care from the movers. I would be very suspicious of any bad review of this company as I can’t imagine them being any less than excellent. We are extremely grateful to them.

Excellent service and highly recommended company. MHME made the full process hassle free. Prompt reply from website enquiry. Professional home visit by David providing all the information required. Team arrived arrived when expected and carried out pre-loading (highly recommended) efficiently. Delivery the following day was again carried out professionally and with ease. Credit to Allan for his professionalism in leading the team. I would definitely use MHME again, they made my top floor tenement flat move much easier than I ever expected it to be. Thank you.

From the initial contact I had with David he was always prompt in answering any queries and explained everything thoroughly. The initial supply of boxes, bubble wrap and tape was a good starter. We moved from a bungalow to a second floor flat and on the removal day the whole team worked hard and moved all our belongings with great care.

I want to highlight how friendly and efficient they were and really took the stress out of the move.

I would definitely recommend Moving Home made Easy to anyone looking for a removal firm, the name says it all.

Had been recommended by a neighbour who had a really good experience from start to finish . Our move had to be brought forward in anticipation of Lockdown and although short notice ,packing and moving our belongings into storage was no problem . The company responded immediately and the unplanned storage accommodated. The team worked well together and without exception all were polite and friendly. Our eventual move to our new place was organised easily and again the experience was very positive. Although our belongings had been in storage for some six months everything was in good order and had obviously been properly stored. I would have no hesitation in recommending the company.

We received a fantastic service from David’s team particularly Ben ,Alex and Bert.

We decided to pack ourselves as we had the time to do it but a full packing service was available

So the team arrived first thing on the day before the move and loaded about 90% leaving us with overnight essentials . They finished off next morning again bright and early and left us with a few hours to clear up and get the keys to the new house

The keys were delayed because of the chain but Ben said just to call when we got them and he would be straight over with the vans. We got the keys at 2 pm and just over two hours later we were installed in the new property .

The team were courteous friendly respectful of our furniture and items and very polite. Nothing was too much bother for them. We have moved many times in the past and have tended to use the big national firms however this move was the best by far. Moving house is a very stressful event but much less so if the removal itself goes like clockwork

Gold star to the team!

Excellent professional service.

From the first time we met David when he visited our home to provide a quotation right up until the last box was moved into our new home we were thoroughly impressed by each and every member of staff. During the run up to the move David kept in touch by email and put our minds at ease. Impeccably well mannered and professional porters who made us feel that nothing was too much bother for them. Friendly and cheerful guys and all furniture and boxes safely and carefully moved from A to B via additional pick up at C! Thanks again guys. If there were an option to score you 20 out of 10 we would. We will certainly recommend your service to all friends and colleagues.

Excellent service throughout the whole moving process. From initial survey from David all the way through to actual house move we were really happy and impressed with the service. The team arrived on time, were very professional and friendly, had our house packed up ready to go efficiently. At new property the guys unpacked and placed items where we wanted, nothing was an issue. No items were damaged and they kept things clean and tidy when they finished. No hesitation recommending and would definitely use again. Many thanks, very much appreciated.

I was very impressed with this company from start to finish. The sales director (Brian) showed up for our appointment right on time. Everything discussed was casual (no hard sell tactics) but the points discussed all made sense.

This was followed up by a number of calls by the MD(David) to check everything was on schedule.

The day of the move, again - right on time. Friendly guys who took a pride in their work and the lead guy (Alan) was excellent, going round my home with me before any of his guys went in, to make sure he understood what I needed done. The guys were quick and cleaned up, leaving no mess at all and came back a few days later to collect the boxes.

I have absolutely no problem in recommending them.

5 Star Service Indeed. The Moving Home Made Easy team did just that...From the professional and informative covid safe measures home visit to discuss and plan our move through to the supportive and flexible admin team online and on the phone in perparing and co-ordinating our move, this company delivered exactly what they promised.

Further to this the actual removal team were courteous, no stop hard workers even during the ice and snow of our move out day to the torrential rain, wind and late evening finish of our move in day the team never faultered, nothing was a problem and they did it all with a smile. We have moved internationally and locally over the years and we just can't rate Moving Home Made Easy highly enough, thanks to David, Kimberley, Ben and his team.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: £1500

We recently used Moving Home Made Easy for removal and storage.

From the initial quote being given to the work being carried out was incredibly easy. On the day of the removal, the team were incredibly fast and efficient, from laying blankets throughout the house to prevent any marks to packing sofas. It was clear they are really experts in their field.

We had initially considered doing the removal myself and renting a storage locker, but seeing the team in action, it was evident this would have been a bad option for us.

Doing it myself would have taken hours and weeks and weeks with probably hundreds of van trips. The Moving Home Made Easy Team completed everything within 3 hours.

On the day we moved into our new house, they again, got to work very quickly. It took a total time of an hour and a half to offload the contents and place each item neatly back in the correct room. This was so quick due to the 7 strong team al operating as one unit. A very slick and well oiled machine and an absolute credit to the organisation.

They do exactly what they say, and make what is a notoriously stressful time very easy indeed.

10 out of 10.

Now we just need to unpack.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: £600

Really pleased with the service we got from Moving Home Made Easy. The team turned up at 7am and were very easy to deal with (around 10-12 men and 4 vans). They worked around us as there were some areas that we still had to pack up. They efficiently boxed up our fragile items in the kitchen, beds, mirrors and TVs and had areas cleared quickly to allow a cleaning service to be carried out from 9am.

I honestly could not fault the team in the work they carried out and how polite and efficient they were in doing it. They had our house all loaded into the vans by 11am.

We got our keys at 3.30pm and they turned up promptly to offload all items to our new house. Again they were very polite and more than happy to be directed to where each of the items were to be placed.

Would definitely recommend! Thank you for everything you did for us yesterday!

If anyone is looking for a removal or storage company then I would 100% recommend this company. From my very first phone call to David ive had world class service. I used them for a flat removal to my new property and I also used their storage units for almost three years and I can honestly say I have never met such a lovely professional helpful honest company. They go above and beyond in every aspect of their service. They treat your possessions with the upmost care amd the removal stress was literally taken away instantly. They also provide packing materials for you which is a huge help. No other company is as helpful and professional as this one. They are extremely reasonably priced as well and nothing is too much trouble for them. Great company and I have recommended them.to many friends and family. If I ever need a removal company again I will definitely be using them again. Many thanks to David and his amazing team.

Moving Home Made Easy made our move very easy. From the visit to assess our needs to the variety of quotes and options to meet different budgets to the conduct of the team on the day of the move everything was done with enthusiasm and care. Communication was thorough and questions were responded to very quickly. We'd never moved house at this scale before having managed previously with car loads and helpful friends, Moving Home Made Easy did a lot of hand holding for us and made the experience as stress free as moving 200 miles can be.
