Good service despite a bit of misunderstandings.

We had mainly boxes and a few bulky items to move from London to Edinburgh. As agreed two men arrive on time to load in London on Thursday morning but only one turned up to unload in Edinburgh on Friday lunchtime. Later it emerged that this has been chosen as a compromise due to the extra load (more boxes than we anticipated). I understand that this was done to keep the price as invoiced but I would have appreciated to discuss this the day before. In fact, someone called me but it was 3 hours before the delivery in Edinburgh and I was in the train already. Otherwise, good and efficient service, with very quick replies to emails.

Fully customize packing and removal of 5 bedroom house.

We had packing and wrapping on first day of move. They were quick and professionally packed our inventory. As per estimation on moving day our inventory fit into given big truck and 2 vans. We appreciate their hard work and care they have taken for our move. Received a call from office if any issue , team organized our move well. Our inventory was placed back into requested rooms and they put carpet protector in new home. That company was more costly than other quotes , but surveyor explain customize plan of our move well enough to convince us . All safe and nothing damaged. We will recommend them to friends and family.

Great overall service.

Great post booking support. Very responsive and accommodating. Arrived promptly on move day and packing service was super useful. Amazing effort from the team that came. Removal boxes are small (40x40x60) so make sure your quote includes for a reasonable number otherwise there is an additional cost (we budgeted for 30 and used close to 60) for a 2 bed flat removal.
Overall a great service and really tool the headache out of our moving day.

Certainly not best..

Got a quote and booked 5 days before moving. The 2 guys packing the day before move seemed polite and efficient. The destination was approx 20 miles further than original place, so I agreed to pay £100 extra. Was also informed that we would now require 3x3.5 ton vans instead of 2 and a transit..thats another £100 on the price, which incidentally we were told was fixed and would by alter. The vans arrived next morning and reminded me of the "rag tag fugitive fleet from battlestar Galactica, with remnants of their previous owners from Sheffield and Glasgow still visible on the sides of the vans..very unprofessional.5 chaps unloaded and were very fast. Many boxes, although marked, ended up in the wrong rooms and upon opening them we found loads of random items in with each other. All my shirts were overstuffed into boxes as were my suits and jackets..not at all what I expected for an experienced company. I see they have many good reviews, but I cannot comply with these, and I would NOT recommend London Best to anybody..in fact, if this is the best, I despair to imagine what the worst is like.

Move to devon.

We had three men and two vans, they started at 8 in the morning, had 2 houses to pack, and we drove to Devon from Croydon. They finished work at 8 in the evening, working very hard all three very helpful putting furniture in the right rooms. Excellent value.

House move.

We recently moved to Newcastle from London. The service was excellent with a really reassuring team who worked hard and were able to get the whole move done in time as promised. They were good value for money. The service could be improved by being a bit more thoughtful about labeling boxes with the contents rather than just the room.

Poor Quality.

WORSE company we could hire.They are totally unprofessional . Moving 2 bed flat in south west London. they brought wardrobe boxes which were used and smelly , we asked for new and more and they said they had no other boxes. They started packing but they actually just throwing staff into boxes. in the same box we found an Easter egg, cotton pads and the toilet brush. We had to ask them to wrap the our mattress. the mattress from my son's cot was unwrapped.They told us that they did not have to disassemble the sofa and they were doing us a favour but we had to assemble it ourselves in the new property. the team leader told us he is not professional he was just doing a favour cause the owner is his friend.
Many items were damaged,glasses and cups were broke, a painting was scratched, a chest of drawers , the cot was damaged, there was a hole in the wall of the new property and two damaged doors in the old property and the a kid's bed was broken . when we complained about the broken bed the team leader said ''i do not give a .. about your staff''. He told us that he was too tired and that our house was difficult to move,and that although he broke it it was our fault( for some reason..).They assembled the baby's cot upside down and they said that should have told them the correct way!!. we complained to the company. They never apologised and when we asked for insurance they said that WE had to pay £250 for each item. I asked for clarification and they explained that we have to pay £250 in advance and Once we pay the excess amount the insurance company will send one of his professional to investigate the claim item!! No words can describe how bad the experience was.I would only recommend to AVOID this company.

Quality Job.

Rana and Usama got us from London to Manchester in 8 hours. An hour and a half at each end to pack and unpack, and loads of care taken over our stuff. Very friendly and helpful, would definitely use again.

Moved within Greater London.

Guys did a solid job. Need to be a bit more careful of newly painted walls and one guy wanted to be a bit forceful, while the other recognised to go slowly and steadily!
Overall, good service, called to request to arrive early, wrapped furniture, dismantled and assembled bed and sofa!
Generally good and no real issues.
Worth using for sure.

2 Bedroom move to Inverness.

Guys loaded the van on Monday , dismantled the furniture and wrap it well to protect, office inform the delivery time next day here in Inverness. Good point was about not charging any surprise amount , paid as per quote and received stuff back on time. All safe. Definitely recommend to others.

Removal.

Four men moved me from a small house in Hersham to a much larger house in Twickenham, which was still full of building materials. It was not an easy move, but the men were obliging and helpful in the circumstances. They worked from 8.30 to about 18.30, so it was a long day for all.
