I Like to Move it Move it Removals

I used this company to help us move our belongings from storage to our new place.

The previous company I used were a disappointment so I did not want to use them again.

I like to Move it Move it were totally different. They were very professional, confirming the location, dates and times by email and were very friendly and approachable when we met. They took great care of our stuff and their price at the end was actually two third less than the previous company I had used before!

I have already recommended them to family.

Service cost: £100

The pros: drivers were friendly and were quick at disassembling furniture and packing up the van. At the new property they reassembled everything at a good speed & overall I was pretty happy when they left.

The cons:

- they were late & although they did turn up within the time they called to say they would arrive, they initially informed me they would be late 10 minutes after they were supposed to arrive - would’ve been better for them to call as soon as they knew they would be late

- I have been in my new property for a week now and as I unpack & settle in I have noticed various chips in wooden bed frames that were not there before. My dining table has a big bit of the covering missing on one of the corners and my tv unit is peeling and lifting at the back where it evidently was not laid flat whilst being transported. The plug connector at the back of my microwave is loose where it wasn’t before.

Also during the move I noticed a screw drop from the underside of my sons bookshelf as one of the guys moved it into his new room (this was an item that did not need to be disassemble/reassembled). I noticed this and asked one of the removal guys to put this back in for me as I suspect it occurred as he was lifting the bookshelf up from the top and the top screws onto the base. The gentleman assured me it would be screwed back in, only for me to find later when I went to put the books on it that it was wobbling as the screw was not put back in and now the screw is nowhere to be found. None of the screws I have laying around seem to be a good fit so I will have to go and purchase new screws. It would’ve been nice for him to advise if he wasn’t going to be able to fix it and at the very least give me back the screw as I could get someone to do it.

Overall I’m giving them a 3 as although they were quick and mostly professional, it is evident that they did not take much care with my belongings. The items with chips and missing paint are things that can luckily be strategically covered and do not need to be replaced, although time and effort will need to be put into doing this.

It’s a shame as I would use the company again if I saw they had a better process for keeping items more securely covered and protected.

Ari and the guys were very organised and efficient. I would recommend their services to any of my friends; I also found them cost effective; the " pay as you go " plan especially works well if you have a small/medium move like the one I had.
I hired some boxes and got them delivered the week before so I could start packing whatever I wanted and speed up the process and I have also arranged for them to be collected straight after the move.
All went very smoothly.. Thank you guys!

There's no shortage of removal firms out there, but these guys stood out for us because of their professionalism.

Getting a quote from them was straight forward and without clauses, and they were prompt, systematic and efficient when it came to removal.

In our case, it was moving all our life's belongings from an apartment in the cent of London to a house in the north west of the city, a job which was carried smoothly and on time.

Perhaps just as important - on a day which can potentially be particularly stressful - they were faultlessly pleasant and flexible.

You won't regret obtaining their help.

The guys who worked on our flat move were amazing. We had two guys come on Sunday who were so friendly and just got on with the job quickly and efficiently. On the day of removal, we had appalling weather and they all remained so positive and got the job done despite being soaked!

I was really happy with how stress free they made the move. I was always able to contact the office, quotes were sent promptly and emails answered quickly. I will recommend this company to friends without hestitation.

But I Like To Move It Move It put my mind at ease and was recommended by Big Yellow Storage. The guys carefully wrapped/moved my artwork and 1 bed flat. They were friendly, communicated well, and the move went without a hitch. They did above and beyond. I highly recommend them. Once again, thank you for taking some of the stress out the move. I Like to Move It was a fantastic service.  Ray and his colleague really helped us move house and managed it very professionally.  The specifics of our move took a while to finalise, yet Ray was very helpful and flexible with what he could offer and was happy to make adjustments to meet our requirements. It was a great price too!!

On the day of the move, Ray and his colleague arrived early.  They were very efficient at packing the van, using blankets to protect furniture and tethering them securely.  There were no breakages or damage.  While we were waiting for completion, Ray's colleague helped us pack the rest of our items and labelled the boxes very well.

We had some problems getting into our new property, but Ray and his colleague were very patient and understanding, not putting us under any pressure in a stressful situation.  They were, in fact, experts at dealing with the situation and us, finding solutions and remaining calm.  They were both professional and polite throughout the whole day and managed our sellers very well too!  Our move overan, yet Ray was happy to extend his hours, at the same hourly rate, to make sure we were in.  We felt looked after by Ray and his colleague.

I Like To Move It was a brilliant deal and a great find!  I couldn't recommend them enough. THANK YOU!!

I like to move it were highly recommneded by a friend of ours when they helped moved them last year and have to say we were really impressed with the service provided from the first point of contact made. Ari who managed the move from the start was very attentive to our questions and very helpful in helping us understand the process of the move.

The packing team were great through out the day and kept in communication with us as there were specific items we didn't want to pack and the three men finished packing a 5 bed house in just 8 hours!

Moving day could not have been any smokther, two large trucks arrived and four men and they were really efficient as we had to be out by 1pm.

Really impressed and highly recommend due to thier customer service from the start - realy prompt and attentive and that's what gained our trust.

We were recommended by a friend to use I like to move it move it and we certainly liked it.
Ari and his team made sure our whole experience was indeed stress free.
Our house sale was delayed by a few days at the last minute but they accommodated that change at no extra cost or hassle.
The packing team packed our furniture and belongings with great care and nothing was broken. Next day the moving team arrived on time and started the moving process quickly and efficiently. Nothing was too much trouble.
The boys were friendly and courteous throughout.
The next day the packing team came to unpack and placed everything exactly where we wanted.
Will definetely recommend and use again.

The service I received through out my experience was excellent. I was offered a very competitive quote. Although a lot of companies a very silly price for removal. The service was very reliable. Very friendly and professional team. The best part was that they helped me with my stuff in order to move it safely. They moved my stuff from grund floor to third floor without even damaging it.

Ray and his chaps were so good when moved two years ago that I've decided to use them again. The chaps are efficient as always and within 3 hrs they moved me 60 miles back to London. I paid £135 for two man and van and £30 fuel cost on top. All very reasonable and probably the cheapest price I could find.

What I really like about their service is that they never asked me to provide details of how many boxes and pieces of furniture etc - as if the process of packing up my home wasn't stressful enough and I really like their no fuss quote. I'd make no hesitation to recommend this removal company. Amituofo.

For under £400 I didn't think our move was going to be wonderful, but amazingly it was. IliketomoveitmoveiT charges were very good, you can have them and pay by the hour or do what we did and pay a lump sum and have the guy for upto 10 hours. In the end our move took 7 hours. But it seemed quicker than that. The two guys we had just worked so quickly, they didn't say much, I think a lack of English may be part of the reason, I would take a guess in saying they were from Eastern Europe but wouldn't put that against the, they were very kind and looled after all our possessions as if they were the queem&s jewels. I would recommend these guys again anytime.

I’m extremely satisfied with the service. Ray and his men provide, it is totally first class. I’ve personally used the service twice and friends and family I have recommended the service to have been equally satisfied. Charge for two men service was £35p/h in 2012 and is now currently £45. The men are efficient and waste no time. They dismantled units and packed all items. The most relaxing move I've ever experienced. £245 well spent. Cupboards were literally moved as is, containing clothes, doors were cello-taped down to ensure items were secure. The men simply cello taped the doors and moved it into the new property seamlessly. They cover all furniture in order to protect it and I did no previous packing. However it is noteworthy that if it so much as runs 5mins into a new hour, the whole hour will be charged for. But this was no put off; the service was first class, the men extremely polite and beyond time efficient. I would recommend this service without a doubt.

Ray was great in helping to sort the move, which was a bit complicated (London to Buckinghamshire via Sussex to pick stuff up), and offered a very good price. When the guys arrived, it became clear that there was too much stuff for one load, but everything was sorted readily enough - a quick call to Ray, and it was agreed that they would make another trip on the following day. The guys loaded everything with no complaints, and did so quickly and efficiently on both days. I would definitely use them again.

Ray and his assistant were very professional, prompt and friendly. All of our prized possessions arrived to our delivery location in one piece as they took extra care to ensure this. The team was very well presented and the overall price of £135 was very reasonable. My overall experience was I received and excellent service and the guys made what is usually a stressful moving day very calm and pleasant. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ray and his assistant to help with removals – in fact I’ve already passed his details on to a friend!  .

Ray has assisted with moving a vanload of furniture and personal possessions on two occasions - once from a flat to storage; later from storage to a different flat.  He was very helpful, efficient, knowledgeable and reliable.  Extra little jobs (such as reassembling items of furniture taken apart for storage) were no trouble – they were done with pleasure, even volunteered. He has had an excellent helper with him each time.  I would wholeheartedly recommend him - and I have his card handy for future use.  Martin.
