Helpful Van

We moved from Southend to west London last Friday. Some personal issue meant we did not start looking for a removal company until the weekend before the move. I was panicking and sent out many email requests for quote. Helpful van was one of the first to reply to our email, first thing Sunday morning. We were given a per hour quote, 2 men, few other bits of information (insurance, etc) and the specification that no additional cost will be charged.

We had a few brief email exchanges and a brief telephone conversation the day before the move. On the day the van arrived bang on time. They worked very hard, even drove back and forth a narrow street many times to get the whole van loaded, as there was parking issue which was not their fault. All the time they acted in a highly professional manner. For instance, they wrapped up my mattress with their own carpet. They offered me boxes. They were courteous throughout and certainly did not moan about anything in front of me. They offered me a lift back to my new place. They placed the items in the room specified, and reassembled dismantled furniture. At the end they charged exactly what they asked for.

I have nothing bad to say about the company and would recommend the company to anyone.

A Helpful Van provides a truly excellent, first rate service at every stage, from my first telephone call to finally moving in to my new home. They took perfect care of everything they moved, including some valuable items. The driver was extremely helpful, very friendly, professional, good humoured and nothing was too much trouble. A GREAT VALUE, VERY HELPFUL AND UNDERSTANDING COMPANY. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others. Thank you.

We used Zibi's services and van for our move within North London and was competitive on price. He arrived early in his big Luton van with tail lift (I think he has a smaller van too) which was very useful as we had problems getting on street parking so that took some time to sort out. Zibi helped non-stop, together with the two of us, to get all of our things down the stairs and into the van and then unloaded into the new property. This included boxes of fragile items, luggage, small furniture, bicycles and boxes of plants. He was very careful with all the items and everything arrived undamaged and properties were unscathed. He brought along a trolley which helped for distances to/from the van. We managed to get everything done within 3 1/2 hours including time in traffic from NW1 to NW6 at rush hour which was amazing considering the amount of things we had and we didnt pay for a second man to assist. Thank you Zibi for your services, which helped our move go very smoothly! We will definately use it again.

Zibi and his colleague helped with my move. The rates were the best I found on the market and worth every penny - Zibi arrived early, worked non stop with his colleague and brought some of his own protective kit for my sofa and to keep my carpets nice and clean throughout. What was really lovely though is that they even helped me fix a bookshelf that I'd had trouble with for a while, whipping out their tool set to sort it without me asking! I'd recommend Zibi in an instant and will be using him again. Great job by a great team!
