Giant Removals

I used Giant Removals to move stuff out of my flat for sale so that I could stage the remainder, and then used them a week later to move the rest of the items. I also had them move clutter from the first place and this company came in and took care of business. The moving team was pleasant, easy to work with, and communicated about time for travel, etc.  Great job and got the job done properly!  Very reasonable too! The moving crew was great. Very professional and would recommend to anyone.

So I was looking for a good moving company for my Kent move. Sam and his team of two additional guys showed up promptly and were very professional. They wrapped everything thoroughly and were extremely careful with my furniture. They loaded everything in a relatively short period of time without sacrificing quality. The van was quickly and efficiently loaded. The unload went extremely smooth as well. They used shrink wrap and lots of furniture pads which got my belongs to their destination in the shape that they were picked up. I will definitely be using Giant Removal for my next move. These guys moved me into storage and then out of storage and into my new house.  Both times they arrived about 15 minutes early (not complaining, always good to get a move done early), and they seriously moved quickly.  They got me out of a third floor flat, wrapped all my large items in protective plastic, got the stuff down into the van, drove thirty miles and unloaded into storage, all in under four hours.  Not a scratch on my stuff either.  Similarly quick and fast on the move out of storage a couple months ago.   Friendly guys and good rates (they let you know precisely when they start and end the clock).  I would definitely use again if I have to move again.

It was our first experience using a moving service and we chose Giant Removals through a personal friend's recommendation. The three guys went above and beyond throughout the day and made the move stress less.  My husband was called in to work and I was alone majority of the day, so they helped get creative when certain furniture items wouldn't fit around corners.  They also helped organize each room, so that we could still easily walk in and around. They were professional, efficient, and fun.  .

Their prices are honest and reasonable. Sam went above and beyond my expectations and saved me precious money and stress.  I wish I would have found them last time I moved. Great professionalism, great customer service, these guys actually care about their customers and the work that they do. It's a big job to move someone's prized possessions - the sum of their life's work.. And now I know I wouldn't trust anyone but the guys at Giant Removals from here on. Customer for life guys! Giant Removals 4 man crew worked so fast- they had us moved from our three bedroom Brixton house in about 3 hours! I never heard a single complaint about the work. All of them were so courteous and nice. Everyone knows moving sucks, and no matter how much you plan, things can get sketchy come moving day. This team made me feel like the "mission impossible" was smooth sailing. I was really stressed about the moving process but they made it so easy. I will definitely recommend them to all of my friends and call or any future moves. A well-deserved 5 stars!

I can honestly say this was one of the most relaxing moves I have ever had. I have moved 5 times in the last 10 years and this was the best move. The crew was efficient and polite. They packed up my home and I didn't even have to lift a finger. The move was timely and the crew was not only helpful, but very pleasant.  They went above and beyond to place everything where we wanted it in our house and made sure to clean up everything (boxes, tape, packaging mess). The processed the paperwork efficiently. We were pleased with the service. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone for any kind of move across the country or down the street.

Giant Removals were great! My husband and I moved last weekend from the London to Glasgow. The guys came with 2 vans and wardrobes for suits and cloths, lifted more than my husband and I could. Both crews were friendly and professional.   We were totally moved within a day. They even asked us where we would like the furniture to be placed in the new apt, which saved us a lot of extra work. And they put our bed frame together, which was nice. Super friendly, super hard workers. I would definitely use them again. You are in good hands with this company!

Found them here and all the reviews were spot on.  On the day of the move they called when they were on their way which was helpful since they originally gave me a two hour arrival window. The guys were hardworking, friendly and efficient. Our one bedroom apt was completely moved into our new 4th floor in a little over two hours. They came on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They were good guys who were easy to work with. They did most of the packing for us and made things really stress-free. Would definitely use them for our next move!

We used Giant Removals to move a two bedroom flat from London to Glasgow. Sam and his assistants were absolutely amazing. We found them trustworthy and punctual. Everything about them was professional and utterly wonderful. They delivered our precious items on time even tho they travelled a 400 mile journey. They were hard working and pleasant throughout the whole experience. I cannot stress enough how charming and careful they all were. They packaged delicate furniture which we didn't have the time to do ourselves. If you are thinking of hiring an efficient, honest and reliable company to move your stuff, then you will have no worries with Giant Removals!

Giant sent a guy out to our apartment to look at our things and give us a quote. The price was less than some of the other companies I called who just gave an estimate based on a form I filled out. Also, after reading all the great reviews on here I felt confident that they are the right choice.They did an excellent job start to finish! The guys who packed our apartment were efficient and friendly. All our items arrived safely in Manchester via storage in a little over a week with no damage, not a single broken dish. The guys who delivered our belongings were also friendly and handled our belongings carefully while working at a good pace. .

I had a cluttered apartment to move and this company came in and took care of business. I was really surprised that a company going so far and beyond for customer service. To be honest I was sceptical and waited until unpacking before posting this review. Everything arrived intact and pristine so 100% satisfied. So hats off to Sam and co., I didn't think a company could care so much about its clients until I had the wonderful pleasure of using them for my moving needs.

I was very afraid of this (in my opinion) big move but now I know it can be simple and quick. These guys are professional friendly fast and clever. The van is in excellent condition equipped with different gadgets to provide safe and secure removal. They work very fast and also kindly ask where exactly you want every item to be placed in your new house so that you don't have to move it again..I still can't believe it's all done and how easy it was!! it was quite long journey from A to B but they only charged per hour. Very good price in my opinion. Worth it!! Thank you so much :).

Just booked a last minute move with this company last week, and could not be happier with the experience.  The owner, Sam,  is extremely responsive to emails/phone calls, and the company goes out of their way to make the customer happy.  On TOP of that, they provide a written estimate and actually stick to it!  Could you imagine that?  A moving company that actually doesn't try and add extras on you at the end of a move.  I have used multiple moving companies in the past, and this one outshines them by a long shot.  If you need a legitimate moving company who is fair priced and honest, this is the one to go with.

I used Giant Removals for a move to Potters Bar after other family members recommended them.  I was very pleased and would recommend this company highly.  They paid attention to detail.  All edges of furniture, which might get bumped during the move, were covered with custom cut protectors.  This also included the round edge of my table!  Then, furniture was padded with blankets and plastic wrapped.  They were careful of my carpet at both places and after they left, there was no sign of the traffic through my apt.  I had a gym sized treadmill ( I use for medical reasons) that needed to go up 2 flights of steps and enter my apt.  The 2 guys Sam and Chris did great!  They were also willing to try to problem solve getting the equipment further into my apt.  Everything arrived intact with no breakage.  .

We found Giant Removals on Gumtree and were attracted by a simple, clear and professional ad which provided prices. Their online booking service was good with a number for any queries - I did use this for a few points and was helped on the phone before completing the booking online about 10 days before our move. I received an email confirmation. I texted on the day before the move and received a prompt confirmation response. The two chaps arrived ontime with a mid sized Luton-box van as agreed. They looked around our flat and estimated that they would get 80% in their van (more than I had anticipated). They then worked at a rapid pace (with no breaks that I noticed) and carefully packed their van using the space very efficiently. Everything was packed in tightly and strapped so that nothing would move during the drive. They had covers for more delicate things, a special container for our TV and covers for our sofas. We had put most things in boxes (a worthwhile ebay investment) which made everything so much easier. My father was also there with his own Transit-sized van, which the guys were happy to help fill too, and provided straps for us to put beds on its roof. We probably got 95% in the two vehicles (mostly the Luton). The drive to our new place was uneventful and they removed everything and put boxes and furniture in appropriate rooms. They also helped to unload the Transit.  All together 4 hours exactly. Excellent. The bill was as agreed, with a little for mileage. Very happy, would definitley recommend and will no doubt use again.
