Flexible Movers

After starting off really well with booking in and being flexible when our moving date changed I had no worries about the moving day.

The lads turned up in a beat up transit with smashed wing mirrors. The inside of the van was disgustingly dirty and they had no covers or straps of any kind to secure our belongings as it stated online.

They dragged furniture, shook boxes labelled 'FRAGILE' and even chucked in the pet hamster upside down and kept saying they had never seen it.

They scratched and broke 2 legs from our sofa suite and from being on the dirty floor will need professionally cleaning as it's now brown not grey! They also damaged & ruined 2 wardrobes, a tv unit and a bed side table.

We had no choice but to pay the lads cash on completion and then complained. I had a reply to my first email and then once I had told them my details I've heard nothing ever since! We're now the £200 down and also having to buy new furniture and try and get the sofa repaired.

Shocking service, we moved within Newcastle on December 16th.

I used this service for moving furniture within apartments in Newcastle city center. There was already a bad review on this site for removals in Newcastle, but I called them and they confirmed that they will send me a clean appropriate sized vehicle which will have facilities to secure the furniture and we agreed to pay 50 GBP per hour. (I had a bed, sofa, wardrobe, table and a few suitcases). On the day of moving, I called them 10 minutes prior and they confirmed that the vehicle would be there on time (1pm). The guy came a few minutes late and told me that the usual vehicle they use is broken and that he is a external contractor they had to hire to finish the job. My jaw dropped when I saw the size of his vehicle, this was a small van at best, completely unsuited to carry furnitures. There were 2 guys who were doing the removal, and me and my friend quickly loaded all the small things at once in the van (they were much slower than us). A lot of time was spent in contemplating how to fit things into the small van, which was already full with small suitcases etc. Finally, as a result we had to do three trips!! A one hour job took three. My mattress got dirty on the sides as well. At the end, the guy argued that it was not his fault that it took so long to finish the job and tried to charge me for the whole three hours (where he said it would be 200 GBP but you can pay 150). Finally, I paid 135. It was completely unprofessional of the movers to send a vehicle so small to remove FURNITURE! I would stay away from these movers at least in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Overall, I am quite happy with this removal service. I was offered the cheapest quote, the guys did a great job in loading/unloading the boxes and big carrier bags. Moreover, it was on Sunday and they had to wait for me whilst I was traveling to Dundee. Nothing was broken/lost, so for the cheapest price I got a quite decent service. A few notes. First, the guys were 40 min late, but I foresaw that and ordered a van 2 hours earlier than intended. Second, although nothing was broken, the guys could still be a bit careful in carrying things as some boxes/bags got broken/torn off. Nonetheless, if you are looking for a cheap, but relatively good service, I would definitely recommend this company.

To win a customer for moving - the key is good customer service and price. They are medium-priced and have a good customer service. The only thing is that I did confirm with the manager 4 days before moving everything. Yet, a day before the date I got 2 text messages asking to re-confirm it. I could not get to my cell phone until midnight, so there was a risk of losing the job ordered. There should be better communication between the manager and drivers; if I agree with the manager on terms and conditions, they should still come out on time because not everybody sits on the phone 24hours a day. Nevertheless, they are reliable, and reasonably priced and I could enjoy my trip to Cardiff for the first time in a van. Altogether, I would recommend them.

I searched for companies to help us move home and most were fully booked. When I asked Flexible Movers they were able to come within 2 days of calling!

I am extremley happy with their service and recommend everyone to go ahead without thinking!

I had 2 men come in a Luton van, they were punctual and very polite. They disassembled our furniture and loaded their van. The van was huge and they only had to make 2 trips for a whole house move.

The guys were excellent and carried everything out at a steady pace- they do not drag time out to make money.

I am glad I chose this company because moving is harder than you can imagine! They took half the stress off my shoulders!
We moved from one side of Coventry to the other and overall we are 100% satisfied with the outstanding service.

The only thing professional was the website. The paperwork was 'in the post'.
They did not turn up in the agreed day and time.
The guy on the phone said 'I'll ring the driver and ring you back.' He never rang back and never picked up or returned any of my calls.
I rang a local company (Keebles in Coventry) who I had used before and they did removal the next day. Thank God for established, local companies.

We found this company online and we found their pricing to be very competitive.

We hired two men and a luton van to move the contents of our 3 bedroom house. We hired them for 8 hours and they worked really hard the entire time.

They were helpful, patient, careful, organised and honest and I would highly recommend this company for a house move.

It definitely is one of the most stressful days, but this was helped by Harry and his colleague making everything so easy for us, so thank you for your help and patience.

Just used Flexible Movers to move our daughter from Leicester Uni digs back home to Lincolnshire (not on the drop down menu so selected Derby!) She had been in the same flat for 2 years so you can imagine the stuff that had been accumilated! Six flights of stairs and no lift and we chose one of the hottest days of the year for this move!
SO GLAD WE USED FLEXIBLE MOVERS .. polite, professional,careful .. nothing was too much for them. Just emailed details on booking form, accepted quote, confirmed via email and they called the evening before to double confirm. On moving day the guy called an hour before scheduled booking time to ask if he could come any earlier, which was not a problem as we were all packed up by then. When he arrived he carried everything down the six flights of stairs and packed securely into the van. Delivery was the same day straight to our home 90 miles away where he unloaded everything for us.
We truly couldn't have done it without Flexible Movers, and to top it all they were very competitivley priced. MUMS & DADS .. don't struggle with all your kids stuff,we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING FLEXIBLE MOVERS.

I trawled through many companies, I found flexi moveds and I’m incredibly happy with the service they gave. From calling the office and getting information to the two guys who were sent for the move, they were just genuinely nice people. Non complaining, worked incredibly fast and hard in 28degree heat up three flights of stairs! I will be recommending them to family and friends without a doubt they were trustworthy which was a key thing for me, Also I rode in the van with them from Midlands to London, felt completely comfortable and happy. Can’t praise them enough!

I had a requirement to move bedroom furniture from Liverpool to my daughters flat in London. Obtained a number of quotes but Flexible Movers contacted me straight away. Adam suggested one man and a van to collect in Liverpool and two men to unload in London this would keep my costs down.Excellent service Ali arrived an 09:00 on the Friday morning and the furniture was being unloaded in London at 14:45 in the afternoon. No breakages excellent service will definately use again.
