We wanted a stress free move from Manchester to bristol and that is exactly what we got, communication to obtain a quote was brilliant and fast and following quote we accepted. On move day the van arrived with two very well presented, polite and hard working men. Icant praise them enough, they got straight to work, didn't stop for tea breaks, cig breaks etc, they were efficient and there was no poor language or inappropriate conversation or anythin else that may have made me feel uncomfortable. They arrived exactly on time and did everything.
The next day again they arrived exactly when expected which is no mean feet when travelling so far, all items were unpacked, beds made up, clothes hung in wardrobes and any empty boxes an rubbish removed.
Everything was packed beautifully and there were no breakages or damages
I was very impressed with the service and it made the move easy and trouble free.
I wouldn't hesitate using again but now were are in bristol it wouldn't be possible
I would highly recommend and also they are a bargain price compared to others
Don't worry that bargain price means bad service, they could have charged double and I would still think we got a good deal

Moved stuff into my first flat and was aprehensive about using a removals company for the first time. Can honestly say that they completely put my mind at rest and everything was handled fantastically. Would strongly recommend them. After reading their positive reviews online, I decided to go ahead with using Firstmove for my move and I can honestly say they were amazing from start to finish. They completely took the stress out of the move and I was so impressed with how careful they were with my possessions. I will be using them again if I move in the near future. Well done guys.

Fantastic from storage to destination plus extras very obliging professional guys nothing too much trouble will certainly use this company when we return back to Lymm. Thank you to Emily who recommended them to us. We had checked out a least three other companies and their quote came in the cheapest We were originally having one removal van but the company had to send two out as we needed to transport more furniture which meant the guys driving to shops in the Sale area to pick up.The charge for the extra van was only £30. David and his team were extremelly helpful with our move from Manchester to London. The communication was perfect, as David informed us about any changes or delays which were absolutely understandable considering the Monday morning traffic jams in and around London. All of our belongings arrived in perfect condition just the way we left them. It was simply a 5 star service at the best possible price we could get. Highly recommend and would use FirstMove Removals again in the future.

David and  his team did an excellent job moving items to our new home. I was extremely impressed with David's promptness in replying to my emails when arranging our move, and with his communication on the day of the move keeping us up to date with an ETA. David and his team moved items quickly and with care. They even managed to move a particularly heavy display cabinet which we were unable to take apart (not easy to carry down 2 flights of stairs). We felt very pleased with the friendly and helpful manner in which David and his team conducted themselves - nothing was too much trouble. I would highly reccomend this company and I will use them again in the future. High quality, friendly service at a reasonable price.

The two movers sent to move me arrived promptly and loaded their van quickly and carefully. Delivery was prompt and unpacking very quick. Furniture and boxes were moved to appropriate rooms and everything was handled carefully. Happy to report no breakages. Both movers were polite, professional and competent. Great service. Excellent removals service for our small house move within Manchester. David came the day I made the enquiry to view my house and provide an estimate. The company offer a full packing service: pictures taken from walls, loft and garden shed cleared, wardrobes and clothes in fitted cupboards. Was impressed by the care and thought for example picking out our cat basket from the loft items in case we needed it and on arrival at our new house (in December) asking if the boxes from our loft labelled "Christmas" might want to be kept out. Professional and careful packing and labelling with a friendly and positive approach to their work. Highly recommended.

Excellent removals company, you need look no further! David and his team deliver excellent customer service from start to finish. I was due to be moving the week before christmas (With a 3month old baby I might add) which ended up being delayed multiple times, leaving us living out of boxes over christmas. David showed great understanding and kept in touch which was very reasuring to me during a very stressful time. He managed to accomodate my move with only a few days notice and got a great team of guys to me promptly on the morning of the move. Mark, David and Ben came to assist our family move from a second floor flat (with no lift) to our new house, nothing was too much for them and they even offered to help us rebuild furniture after getting our stuff in. They were very friendly guys who took great care of our belongings and they made what could have been a very stressful day, both stress free and even enjoyable! So a BIG thank you from us! I would definitely use this company again and would recommend them to any of my friends!

We moved house two weeks ago and were recommended Firstmove Removals by a friend. David popped in to see us a month or two before the move to give us an idea of how many boxes etc we would need and ran through how everything would work on the day. He then dropped by a couple of times to give us more boxes when we needed them. David and his team arrived nice and early on our moving day and were absolutely fantastic. They took all the hassle out of moving and it was worth every single penny. I found them to be reasonably priced and they really did do an excellent job. Despite us asking them to stall moving our furniture in to the new house until we'd had a full clean done - we still had everything in by 3pm. They took beds/wardrobes/drawers to pieces and rebuilt them (the worst part of moving we find) in no time at all. Polite and professional and nothing was too much to ask. Thanks again to all three of you for your hard work, I'll recommend you to everyone!

The two Davids at Firstmove are absolute stars.

We just had to do a move for my Dad to a one bed retirement flat which involved sorting through and clearing out vast amounts of stuff he'd hoarded up over an entire lifetime in a 3 bed semi. We hired a small van ourselves so that we could do dozens of runs to charity shops / tip. Firstmove provided labour only to help us as and when needed over two weeks with the house clearance exercise, and their transport and labour to move everything bulky / heavy across to his flat in one day.

The whole process was made much less stressful than it could have been for myself and my Dad through their professionalism, flexibility, reliability and courtesy shown at all times.

Highly recommended and very reasonable and clear prices.

Having selected this company on the back of many positive reviews, I feel it's only suitable that I add to those with my own.

Having emailed the company, they responded promptly with the most competitive quote. I then rang to discuss and confirm. Always dealt with professionally and efficiently. I received further reminder texts and email in days prior to the move.

On the day of the move, they arrived early, loaded quickly and unloaded in the same manner in Manchester.

We used firstmove removals after they were recommended to us . They were excellent . Thoughtful , polite and very efficient and careful . Put all garden things into separate van , which was brilliant and then put straight into new garden . Very considerate of husband who was extremely ill. Put furniture into right situation in each room and made sure bed was in right place . Made a very stressful day less so .
