We required to move our items from a 4th floor tenement flat in Edinburgh city centre to our new house 10 miles away, then to return to the city and remove items from our storage locker and take these to our new house. The storage locker closed at 4pm and even though it got a bit nail-biting we finished with 7 mins to spare! The guys then helped arrange things properly in our new house. This was during the worst of the festival traffic. The final cost for a Saturday job was £742 and this is cheaper than many.  The main thing for me was the constant reassurance that everything would get done in time, and though it sounded like overconfidence at the beginning; I am pleased to say it was entirely justified. Even though we were paying by the hour (which can be risky) I think the guys worked very hard and not a single thing is missing or got broken during the move! I recommend Comfort Moves! They can get it done even when the chips are down.  They are friendly approachable guys and displayed very good straight-backed lifting technique too! Chris.

Considering all the stress with the house move, last thing you want is to have problems with the moving company. Comfort Moves simply ticks all the boxes. They are very reasonably priced, provide professional service and do the job you require them to do. No more no less, everything arranged as smoothly as possible. Highly recommended. I was referred to them by a friend who highly spoke of their professionalism and I definitely experienced the same. All your questions are promptly answered before booking is confirmed and seriously I can not think about anything I was unhappy with. Comfort moves had good reviews online and they answered all my many questions honestly and with speed and courtesy. I was moving from a first floor flat to a ground floor flat both in London. Agnes was very patient and understanding regarding the ever changing date for the house move and accomadated a weekend move at short notice. The quote was for an hourly rate and was not the cheapest but was very reasonable. On the day all the men arrived on time and they just got on with the task in hand. Even when the sofa didn't fit they managed to get it in through the window. They were all very experienced and well organised. They were on hourly rate but they steamed through the job and did not even stop to take a break throughout. All my belongings moved and not one breakage! I would highly recomend this company and wish them every success in their business. .

I moved on the 16th April from Swindon to Cirencester. I found the quote very competitive. Agnes in the office was great - very patient when the date had to be changed. On the day, the process went smoothly and efficiently. I could hardly believe how easy they made it - we had the house cleared by 11am. Certainly the easiest move I've ever had. Nothing was too much trouble. At the other end, they were kept waiting for several hours, but there wasn't a grumble from them! (In fact, they were sat on the grass - sunbathing!) Nothing was damaged, everything was well packed. They did their best to place items in the rooms as requested (which was not easy as we moved to a smaller house!) If I had one small gripe, it was that they said they would reassemble our beds, which they didn't. It was fine as, by the time they had unpacked, we just wanted the house to ourselves and we were happy to sleep on mattresses! I have no doubt that, if I'd asked, they would have done it as they were all very helpful. I would definitely recommend the company to others and would happily use them again (and I'm very fussy).

Not often one comes across a removal firm that does exactly what it promised. Collected on time, delivered on time, items all in good condition, helpful and friendly. Every item was wrapped well, delivered at our new address in good condition and placed exactly where we wanted it.
Mark and his fellow worker were professional at all times.
Have previously moved from Africa and Spain - wish we had been able to use Comfort Moves.

The best removal company ever!! We had countless changes of moving dates and Agnes coped with them all. When we finally moved Marek and the boys packed for us then moved everything to Cornwall overnight, whilst we waited half the day for the keys to be released. The weather was awful but they carried on regardless without any complaints and then left late afternoon for a drive back home. They are heroes!!. By the way, we were moved to mid Cornwall not Plymouth but that's the furthest west town on the list!!

I contacted Comfort Moves and spoke to Agnes. She immediately understood my requirements, which was the removal of my Piano on a specified date. Comfort Moves then quickly responded to me with a very acceptable quote. The Piano was picked up by a professional team, and carefully loaded into the removal vehicle. The delivery time was as promised and the Piano was successfully positioned into it's new home with no damage.
I will recommend Confirm Moves to anyone that is looking for a removal company that does a professional job for a good price.

Mark and the team were great, and I would recommend them to anyone.
Comfort Moves offered a quick fixed-quote price, which, with my busy schedule, is just what I was looking for. There were no surprises, and the price was competitive. I had no problem booking my desired removal date.
As I don't have a car, I didn't feel like going to get moving boxes, but Comfort Moves happily delivered boxes to our house, which made my life easier.
On the day, the team showed up promptly and went straight to work. They had plenty of blankets to wrap furniture in and plastic wrap to protect the mattress.
On arrival, the team ensured that everything went to the appropriate place in the flat. It was a very hot day, but the team worked efficiently, and the move was completed in a half day.

Great company to choose. We chose them because they were the least expensive and the chap who came to assess us was very professional, as everyone turned out to be.

They delivered packing materials as requested, arrived on time on the day, loaded in just under 3 hours (including a very heavy piano).

Next day they unloaded and put boxes & furniture as we required despite it being a 3-storey house.

No damage or breakages and 3 very cheerful and courteous chaps. Top drawer service and great value for money. Highly recommended and defo would use again.

I honestly can't speak highly enough of this company and the guys who did my move.

They went the extra mile for me, disassembling and reassembling furniture. Holding my baby while I moved my car. Despite a LOT of heavy lifting and a move from a large house to a small apartment they were happy, cheerful and worked like a well oiled machine.

Nothing was too much trouble for them, they were both very respectful, shook the hands of all my family and friends and did it all with a smile on their face.

They gave me the cheapest quote of all local removals companies and I would have have happily paid more for their 5* service.

Made my move as stress free as possible.

After completing a move with Comfort Moves on Friday I can now echo what many other reviewers have written, Mark and the team really impressed us on the day. The guys arrived a little earlier than expected and by the time we were due to start had loaded 40% of our stuff, they worked efficiently and handled our belongings carefully.
When we got the keys to our new house the team were already waiting at the door ready to get going.
It then only took a couple of hours for the guys to get both vans unloaded.

Mark along with Chris arrived on time and made a good impression from the start, immediately giving me the confidence they were well prepared to get the job done, including protection blankets and a plastic cover for the mattress. Our old flat is a top floor without lift and with a couple of narrow bends difficult to negotiate, but they showed they were up to the job and nothing got dammaged or scratched. They also helped disassembling and reassembling a tricky wardrobe, showing the necessary patience. Overall, we got the job done in a professional and friendly manner, and also within our estimated budget (so, no nasty surprises). Very happy.

I was let down by another company and was searching on Removal reviews for a reliable company. I contacted several in London and Bristol but Comfort Moves was the one who reacted immediately, I got a quote an hourlater, a phone call the next day and just from the communication they seemed really realiable and straight-forward.
One week before the move they send boxes and packing material. The day of the move they were on time and very professionnal. Mark and his brother-in-law were really nice guys.
After everything was loaded we met in Bristol a few hours later. Unloading didn't take long and they also assembled the bed for me.
I can really recommend them and will definitely use them again when I have to move another time.!
