Clapham Removals are not trustworthy, they make you pay in advance and never refund for no work,,,, I did one booking and then i called to postpone it they said sorry we have to charge you 2 hours since the guys were ready here, and then i ask them to use the balance hours for another booking next day for another job they asked me to pay them again , when i paid , they said sorry we are full for a week, while i needed the work done urgently , since then its over a year Im chasing them for refund they never respond my email and on call they say we will do it but never moved a bit ,,, im escalating this matter to consumer rights for their behaviours... Shame,,,,

Move size: Office Move Service cost: £315

The team was about 15 minutes late showing up, but they called ahead to let me know - heavy traffic.  The team took great care in packing all the items, and loading it into the van.  Everything was well-executed, and the first batch of items was delivered and carried to the flat in good time.   The second day involved loading the rest of the furniture, and was similarly delivered in good condition.  Only one snag - they missed out on unloading 1 part of a furniture piece, which I did not discover until assembly time - a call to Lucy the office manager resulted in the part being matched and returned the afternoon I called. All in all, the quote was accurate, pricing was good, service (including after they got paid) and professionalism excellent.  And the crew were very polite and hardworking! Highly recommended. .

From my initial discussion with Clapham removals I have been very impressed. They expalined the process and put me at ease. I also found their rates (for all services £1,500) for London to be very reasonable. A couple of days before the move they delivered the boxes, bubble wrap etc and I also engaged them to wrap and box all my mirrors, crockery glassware and valuables (well worth doing) for ease of mind. At delivery day they unpacked everything and put together the furniture that they had to dismantle for the move. I found the removal men to be polite, professional, patient and good for a banter. I would wholly recommend clapham removals to anyone and will plan to use them again on my next move. They also recommended Acre Lane Storage in Brixton whom I also found to be very professional.

A joy to work with. So accommodating at what was a very stressful time- we had to reschedule 4 times! Nothing too much trouble and the friendly staff made the whole experience effortless. Highly recommended. The job was done quicker than expected and the price very competitive. Lucy and Ryan are very friendly and will try their utmost to work around your situation- having used different removal firms in the past this was most definitely not the case. We will definitely use them again without doubt.

Can't recommend these guys highly enough. They handled a move from one first floor flat to another a couple of miles away. We asked them to come a couple of days before the move to help pack and they also ran several items of furniture to storage for us. Then on move day they emptied the contents of a three bed flat in about 2 hours and loaded it into the new place in about the same time. They were friendly, helpful, really organised and delivered everything in perfect condition. They genuinely took the pain out of moving and we were happy with the price too.

All the people I have dealt with at Clapham Removals have been extremely friendly and helpful.  They respond quickly and are very flexible.  The driver/mover they sent for our latest job - Andre - could not have been more helpful and, although they are working to an hourly rate, he clearly did everything he could to move the job along as quickly and efficiently as possible.  Everything ran completely smoothly and completely on schedule.  I would highly recommend their service and their pricing is very fair.

I can't compliment the Clapham Removals team enough. Having had various quotes that seemed extortionate, and rather cold sales like approach to the whole enquiry - I was (thankfully) recommended Clapham Removals through a friend of mine who'd also used their services and couldn't speak more highly of them, and it was like a breath of fresh air! They took away all my stress and concerns (particularly required when 7mths pregnant) and the team are so personable, it's hard not to feel 100% confident in them. Adam made the initial visit to our property to assess and estimate costs/timings. He wasn't pushy. He was genuine and helpful with his suggestions in how we could cut costs by being more efficient e.g. with packing etc. & gave me great confidence that his team were efficient and would do a great job. He was right! Lucy, the office Manager was also fabulous. She answered all my email queries promptly and having someone so personable and upbeat who also made lots of helpful suggestions, also made all the difference. And finally the muscle! Cam and his co-partner were just brilliant. I can't thank them enough. And have never seen such speed in all my life. They were so careful but so efficient with getting the job done. They covered things that needed protecting if I hadn't done it and got the goods from N.London to Middlesex and unpacked and put in all the right places, all within an hour and a quarter. They were so friendly and just a pleasure to work with. If we have to move again, then hands down I wouldn't think about using anyone else. HIGHLY recommend.  .

Calapham Removals are excellent value for money.  The quote was highly competitive and I felt from the outset that they would do a professional job.  The four men worked courteously and efficiently.  Nothing was too much trouble at any time.  They were extremely strong and this helped in getting the job done.We had one breakage of a piece of glass with a move of a three storey house Edwardian house.  I think that was pretty good considering the three flights of stairs they had to go up and down plus an attic and basement. I would recommend them if you want a good local hard working company. =arrived on time = packed everything carefully with paper and bubble wrap =secured bottles with liquids = packed artwork very carefully = labelled the boxes well so we had some idea where they should go at the other end. = Took instruction well = Had a good team leader  .

The guys from Clapham Removals worked efficiently and professionally from start to finish.  We had a particularly difficult move due to the previous owners not vacating our new property on time, and Clapham removals were supportive and professional throughout (even after having to wait 5 hours before we were able to access oiur new peoperty!).  They worked speddily when we eventually got our keys and we were unloaded within an hour and a half. Would very highly reccomend.

Clapham removals took care of the moving of our 4 bedrooms house: packing, dismantling, moving, reassembling. We were really pleased with the service they provided. They are reliable, professional, organized, clean, caring, nice and friendly people. We have 2 little girls under 4 and I was also 7 months pregnant at this time. So we really appreciated the way they managed the all moving, taking into account all our requests and paying attention to all our goods with care. I will warmly recommend this company.

I used Clapham Removals to assist with ny mums move.. I met a member if the team when they came out to provide a quote and decided to use the company despite being slightly more expensive than a competitor due to their friendliness and professionalism. My mum was delighted with the service and couldn't stop signing their praises both in terms of helpfulness and efficiency. I would definitely recommend Clapham Removals and will use them again. This is the second time that we have moved house in the last two years and both times we have used Clapham Removals. All of the staff that we spoke to were friendly, efficient, prompt and professional from the original quote to the final box being unloaded. They worked with us to ensure that the day was organised, ensuring we had the packing materials in plenty of time and reorganising at the last minute when our completion date became delayed. The moving day went very quickly with the pick-up and delivery going very smoothly and being under time and under budget.   I hope we don't move again, but if we did, I would certainly use this company again.

We used these people to move, do not touch them with a barge pole. The quote was originally ok but lumped on the price of boxes and moving on a bank holiday. We were desperate to move and in a hurry so foolishly went with them anyway. When the movers turned up they hardly spoke a word of English there van looked like something from the early 80s, Clapham Removals..Clapped out Removals more like. It looked they had just employed a couple of local lads for the day. The movers damaged several pieces in transit, turns out it wasn't actually insured!! Trying to deal with them afterwards was a nightmare, ending up taking them to court!! Do your self a favour and get a decent national mover. If you do use these people check the paper work carefully before signing.

Booked Clapham Rremovals after trawling the internet for ages to find a company with good reviews and not charging a fortune. We moved from SW London to Surrey, from a ground & 1st floor property to a 1st floor.
The guys were marginally late arriving in the morning, but called to let us know so no big deal. As soon as they arrived they got straight to it, asking our exact requirements, if anything needed to be wrapped or was especially valuable / delicate. They made short work of loading up, even getting 2 huge sofas out in less than 10 minutes when it had taken the delivery guys over 2 hours to get them in.
Unloading took longer due to the distance from lorry to the property, but the guys worked incredibly hard non stop to get everything unpacked - even having to be creative and bring the wardrobe in via the balcony! They also even helped suggested where some pieces of furniture should go to make best use of the space!
I would 100% recommend this company, the price was good and well worth it having seen how good the guys were, how hard they worked and took good care of our belongings too.

Very impressed by Clapham Removals who packed and moved me in June 2012. They packed everything incredibly carefully and rapidly, did not waste packing materials and worked harder than I thought possible. All whilst remaining the calm presence in the storm of moving. I found their reassuring expertise made the move as painless as possible. Everything arrived intact, with a polite and prompt service. I found Clapham Removals Ltd from the very start of the process to be nothing but helpful and efficient. The staff at the office did their upmost to make sure everything required was met.

On the day of the move, I had two very friendly men arrive at my flat on time. They very quickly packed everything up, taking care of fragile items, and packing into the lorry.

Once arrived on destination, they were once more extremely helpful and did the job on time and with no mishap.

Would happily recommend them to anyone looking to move home if they want a quick, reliable and very friendly service. All within a very competitive price range.
