I found Bolt through the Which website. After leaving my details on their website, they rang me to confirm details and send an updated quote. They were competitively priced and much less expensive than some companies I had also received quotes from. My partner and I were moving all our belongings from a storage unit cross country to Cardiff. Nick and Dan arrived early at the unit to collect and were friendly and efficient. They arrived around the estimated arrival time in Cardiff and got everything offloaded with care. They also asked if I could check the van to make sure nothing had been missed which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend them!

I just wanted to thank Julian and his Team at Bolt removals for an absolutely amazing service. The Team arrived early, they emptied the entire house and garden within a few hours, they were then at the new property before we even collected the new keys. Then at the new property they delivered all items to the correct rooms and areas of the property again within a couple of hours. From start to finish the experience was brilliant. Moving house was a very stressful time, however Bolt took this element of stress away from us, 5 star service and team. Will be recommending Bolt to all my friends and family in the future. If you need a great removal team you won’t get any better.

The Bolt team provided an excellent removal service. They were extremely professional, polite, calm, and very considerate. We had the full packing service which was handled with great care and efficiency. They came with a very experienced team of six workers, so the process was quick too. Areas of the house that were vulnerable to knocks and scrapes during the move, such as stairs, bannisters and doorways, were protected with padding. The Bolt team really helped take the stress out of the situation for us. We are currently in temporary accommodation while waiting for the purchase for our new home to go through, and have placed our furniture and belongings in storage with Bolt. I have full confidence that this second part of the service will be handled perfectly as well, but will update the review once we are finally in our new home.

After seeing some glowing reviews on Which?, etc, we engaged Bolt Removals to move our belongings and re-assemble our furniture (half from Ikea) from a 2-bedroom house in Pontypridd to Cardiff Bay. A video call was required (and appreciated) for discovery and the quote was very reasonable. We had a postpone the move date (on a Saturday) at least 3 times, but they always obliged and never complained. On the day, the 2 guys turned up on time at 08:00 and were very nice and very hard working. They went above and beyond, packaging up things we didn't expect them to, being extra careful with things they knew to be valuable, and especially trying their best to get our sofa and bookcase up an awkward flight of stairs, even though they were confident that they wouldn't be able to. I'm pretty sure that the move took a good few hours longer than quoted for, but the invoice we got exactly matched the quote. On top of that, after emailing the details a day later, 4 guys came back a day after that and managed to get the bookcase up and through the living room window, and for a shockingly low price! Excellent service all around.

Have used Bolt removals twice in the last four months, firstly into rented accommodation and finally into my brand new house so have used a variety of services including packing and storage. I was truly impressed with the quality of every service provided. The guys were courteous, polite and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. They turned what could have been quite a stressful occasion into a stress free move and I have no hesitation in recommending their services to everyone. Thanks again guys for a excellent job done.

Julian, your service has been excellent from the moment we first contacted you through to the collection and delivery of all our goods yesterday.

Your three operatives, Karol, Andrei and Dimitri were perfect. They were extremely polite and could not have been more caring or more helpful throughout the move. They took extreme care with all items and covered then with blankets and or bubble wrap before moving them to ensure that they were not damaged in any way at all. They also laid covering over the carpets at both ends to ensure that no floor coverings were damaged.

The service was faultless..

We are renting this new property for 12 months or so, and we will definitely want to use you again for our next move.

Extremely impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of Bolt Removals. They carried out a domestic move for me from a London 1-bed to a Cardiff 2-bed. The communication upfront was clear and prompt, with all my questions answered; the move itself was carried out on time and with a very positive energy from all the move team. Everything arrived in great condition, the team was very responsive in terms of locating items in the correct rooms and helping to position the heavier pieces that I would have been unable to move alone.
