We employed the services of Bolt Removals to move house in September 2021. It was a brilliant experience from start to finish. Julian was very professional in his communications, with a WhatsApp video call to get an idea of how much stuff we had to move. The quote was very reasonable and was produced in a short amount of time (less than one working day!). On the day of the move, the two gentlemen arrived on time and worked almost non stop for 8h to get all out stuff packed, in the van and then unloaded at our new house. They were clean and tidy (lots of rugs/mats put down in our new place to protect the carpets). They were friendly, efficient and a pleasure to work with.

I thoroughly recommend Bolt Removals and will look nowhere else for my removal needs in future. Excellent work team Bolt!

We recently moved from Sussex to Wales and did extensive research on the various removal companies out there. It was easy to find glowing reviews of all these companies but many people had reviewed little else. All companies had their fair share of bad reviews except for one, Bolt Removals. The owner Julian was always available when I had any questions that needed answers and they didn't insist on a hefty deposit. The move went very smoothly and despite a 4 hour drive from Cardiff, the team arrived on time to pack our furniture. The team of removal men were polite and very capable and the whole thing went very, very smoothly. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Was recommended Bolt by a friend who had use them for a house move as someone who could help move our business to a new office. Julian was very responsive on emails and had a warm and genuine personality when he came to quote. Though they weren't the cheapest we spoke to, I was confident that our move was in safe hands with Bolt - and I was right. On the day, they sent enough people, turned up on time (early in fact!), treated our stuff gently and worked hard with a smile. Super efficient and nothing too much trouble. Some of our items went to their storage space which is looked after by the very professional Alex and is a much better set up than some other storage facilities we looked at. Overall, to date, I have not been able to find a single fault with Bolt Removals and will recommend them to anyone.

I found Bolt through the Which website. After leaving my details on their website, they rang me to confirm details and send an updated quote. They were competitively priced and much less expensive than some companies I had also received quotes from. My partner and I were moving all our belongings from a storage unit cross country to Cardiff. Nick and Dan arrived early at the unit to collect and were friendly and efficient. They arrived around the estimated arrival time in Cardiff and got everything offloaded with care. They also asked if I could check the van to make sure nothing had been missed which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend them!

I just wanted to thank Julian and his Team at Bolt removals for an absolutely amazing service. The Team arrived early, they emptied the entire house and garden within a few hours, they were then at the new property before we even collected the new keys. Then at the new property they delivered all items to the correct rooms and areas of the property again within a couple of hours. From start to finish the experience was brilliant. Moving house was a very stressful time, however Bolt took this element of stress away from us, 5 star service and team. Will be recommending Bolt to all my friends and family in the future. If you need a great removal team you won’t get any better.

The Bolt team provided an excellent removal service. They were extremely professional, polite, calm, and very considerate. We had the full packing service which was handled with great care and efficiency. They came with a very experienced team of six workers, so the process was quick too. Areas of the house that were vulnerable to knocks and scrapes during the move, such as stairs, bannisters and doorways, were protected with padding. The Bolt team really helped take the stress out of the situation for us. We are currently in temporary accommodation while waiting for the purchase for our new home to go through, and have placed our furniture and belongings in storage with Bolt. I have full confidence that this second part of the service will be handled perfectly as well, but will update the review once we are finally in our new home.

After seeing some glowing reviews on Which?, etc, we engaged Bolt Removals to move our belongings and re-assemble our furniture (half from Ikea) from a 2-bedroom house in Pontypridd to Cardiff Bay. A video call was required (and appreciated) for discovery and the quote was very reasonable. We had a postpone the move date (on a Saturday) at least 3 times, but they always obliged and never complained. On the day, the 2 guys turned up on time at 08:00 and were very nice and very hard working. They went above and beyond, packaging up things we didn't expect them to, being extra careful with things they knew to be valuable, and especially trying their best to get our sofa and bookcase up an awkward flight of stairs, even though they were confident that they wouldn't be able to. I'm pretty sure that the move took a good few hours longer than quoted for, but the invoice we got exactly matched the quote. On top of that, after emailing the details a day later, 4 guys came back a day after that and managed to get the bookcase up and through the living room window, and for a shockingly low price! Excellent service all around.

Have used Bolt removals twice in the last four months, firstly into rented accommodation and finally into my brand new house so have used a variety of services including packing and storage. I was truly impressed with the quality of every service provided. The guys were courteous, polite and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. They turned what could have been quite a stressful occasion into a stress free move and I have no hesitation in recommending their services to everyone. Thanks again guys for a excellent job done.

Julian, your service has been excellent from the moment we first contacted you through to the collection and delivery of all our goods yesterday.

Your three operatives, Karol, Andrei and Dimitri were perfect. They were extremely polite and could not have been more caring or more helpful throughout the move. They took extreme care with all items and covered then with blankets and or bubble wrap before moving them to ensure that they were not damaged in any way at all. They also laid covering over the carpets at both ends to ensure that no floor coverings were damaged.

The service was faultless..

We are renting this new property for 12 months or so, and we will definitely want to use you again for our next move.

Extremely impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of Bolt Removals. They carried out a domestic move for me from a London 1-bed to a Cardiff 2-bed. The communication upfront was clear and prompt, with all my questions answered; the move itself was carried out on time and with a very positive energy from all the move team. Everything arrived in great condition, the team was very responsive in terms of locating items in the correct rooms and helping to position the heavier pieces that I would have been unable to move alone. All in all, they made this a stress free experience for which I am very grateful. I would gladly use Bolt Removals again.

The ‘Boys from Bolt’ exceeded all our expectations.

We went for the ‘full packing’ service, and while it might not be for everybody, it was everything we needed. See it. Pack it (well) and Move it. And in a day and a bit our incredibly cluttered house was packed up so well by a large team who, without exception, were careful, efficient, and incredibly friendly and polite. The price was also very competitive.

So all in all I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Boys from Bolt.

It's unusual in this age to receive such courteous, efficient and pleasant service. The guys are extremely polite, and tremendously hard working. Breaks are minimal and the job is done so quickly. Nothing is too much trouble. Can't thank them enough for making a stressful move so much more pleasant. Their charges are very resealable too.

Our experience with Bolt was fantastic - from their packing service to their removals and storage. They were so understanding when we didn't complete in time and had to unexpectedly move our belongings into storage for six weeks! They packed and stored our items in October and then moved us in to our new home in January. Communication was great and they treated our belongings with care - the team are lovely, kind and helpful! What a marvellous company to engage with for house moves. We have spent 43 years moving around with HM Forces, and wish Bolt Removals had been available. We have moved from Wales to East Yorkshire. From the WhatsApp video fir assessment to the removal team arriving ti wrap and pack,the lads were top notch. Careful packing, bubblewrapped, paper wrapped, boxes sealed and on the waggons, the guys were professional, friendly, helpful, cheerful and so good at their job. The unload was slick, boxes put in rooms as labeled. On unpack, not a thing chipped or damaged. All of this made it the best move and eased the stress levels for us. Incredible value and worth every penny. Will gladly recommend Bolt Removals to anyone.
